A funky, shabby chic place

Brady was a warm host who served an ample, delicious hot breakfast each morning! He was very helpful, carrying our bags upstairs and allowing us to plug in our hybrid car to an outside outlet.

reception office and the barking dog turned us off. Stayed 1 night and took loss for 2nd night

The reception office was a big turn off , it was a mess Flannelette sheets, have never been at a hotel with flannelette sheets The barking dog Cramped room

Very good

The heritage home is beautiful with very interesting and unique decor. The host is very laid back, friendly, and cooks an awesome breakfast!

Our arrival was confusing as google sent us to the neighbour's. We were then unsure if we were in correct spot as there was no clearly designated parking lot or walkway to the front entrance.

It was great.

Brady was super nice, dogs were friendly and place was clean. Also, breakfast was plentiful and timely.

The bed was a little uncomfortable.

Close to ferry, nice location and friendly welcoming. Breakfadt was included but we had to leave early for the ferry so didn't get the chance to enjoy it. Slept well.

Beautiful old house that would be out of this world but needs repair and update. Also, found lots of hair in the sink.

Bulwinkles Puts Guests First

Brady, the owner, greeted us warmly as soon as we walked into the house. His genuine friendliness continued throughout the time we spent there. George, his hound dog, helped. Breakfast was amazing, hot, plentiful, and good. A warm spirit pervades this establishment.

Our bed was a bit firm for what we’re used to, but I’m not complaining.

Your free spirit host and the unique property will ensure you will never forget Bullwinkel's.

The owner Brady is a real person and total free spirit. There is a fine pool table, old collector's item motorcycles in the hall, interesting international and fun posters everywhere. We loved this old jewel of a house and Brady's warm welcome. He puts his heart into making a great breakfast, like everything else he does. Great restaurant two doors away for your main meals.

If you are looking for a woman's touch or you are a germophobic go somewhere else. This is an old house and has a few pipes and wires running in unusual places (which we thought added to the charm).
