Amazing apartment in the foothills of Acropolis
This is a very nice apartment in Plaka, walking distance from Acropolis, and pretty much everywhere in Central Athens. The apartment has comfortable furniture and it is nicely decorated. Everything is so new in this apartment and it is immaculately kept.
Hint: The apartment is situated in a labyrinth of one way streets with busy crowds, that makes coming in with car/taxi kind of a challenge. Just ask Uber or taxi to drop you off Amalias 44-46 and walk one block to the apartment.

If you are looking for charm, comfort and accessibility to the Platka, this is your apament. This bright newly remodeled apartment was perfect for our needs. Sitting on a quaint street, we were one short block away from the Platka which offered shopping, food, museums, the Acropolis, the Agora, the National Garden and so much more. Kostantinos and Maria could not have been more accommodating. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Rental in Plaka
This was a great place to stay. Very quiet. Everything seemed brand new and clean. Beds comfortable and everything is tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed including a small first aid kit, tea, coffee, and starter toiletries. The air conditioning worked and was greatly appreciated. The washer/drier set was also useful to have and came with enough soap for two loads of laundry. Kitchen has a small fridge, cook top, toaster oven, espresso machine, tea kettle, and toaster. Huge shower with clean towels. The location is perfect. Walking distance to pretty much anything you need including tourist areas, groceries, restaurants and taverns, shopping, and gardens. The area is filled with tiny criss- crossing streets and Greek charm. Double security with a front locking main door. Our teenage son slept in the living room which we ended up treating like a second bedroom so he/we had lots of privacy. Comfortably fit 3 or 4 people easily. Maria and Konstantinos are both professional and pleasant with their communications and care of the apartment. Maria was kind enough to meet us at the apartment early so we could drop off our luggage while it was being clean. North Americans might be wary of area graffiti but really it's only local art work and nothing to worry about as the area seemed very safe. It was a little tricky unlocking the apartment door the first couple of times but we quickly got the hang of it. A cute spiral staircase leads to apartment. Not a problem for us but may be a challenge for people with mobility issues/concerns.
