About this apartment rental

On the seafront, with magnificent panoramic sea-views of Ramsgate's blue flag beach and out to France. The flat is only moments from the beach and a short walk to the town centre and the Royal Harbour.

The flat is on the top floor of a grand Georgian terrace house very close to Ramsgate town centre. New kitchen, carpets and decoration in 2020. There are 2 quiet bedrooms (one double bed and one set of bunks) at the rear of the property. The large, bright and modern lounge/kitchen which provides a panoramic view out to sea, has been tastefully furnished and has a light and airy feel. All of the home comforts you would expect are provided, including fresh linen and bath towels.

We hope that you have everything you need at the flat to have a really enjoyable break. From binoculars to admire the stunning views to chairs and blankets for the beach. We have tried to think of everything. There is a digital TV with a recordable function and Netflix for your enjoyment. There is also unlimited and fast broadband. We also enjoy the flat so it is more than just a business for us but a home.

There is local street parking in the streets around the flat for your car.

Ramsgate holiday accommodation: Holiday rentals for a fraction of the price of a hotel. Situated moments from a Victorian lift to the beach, to Ramsgate town centre and Ramsgate Royal Harbour (the country's only Royal Harbour). Ramsgate benefits from a number of award-winning local restaurants, offering excellent seafood and local produce.

Local travel includes High Speed trains to London and a local bus service, 'the loop' in and around Thanet.

Take a day trip to France from Dover.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 days in Ramsgate. The apartment was great and overlooked the sea. There were even binoculars so we could see more closely boats etc out at sea. The apartment had everything we needed and though there were only two of us staying there it was good to have the space of an extra bedroom. Good location .

We had a lovely stay in your apartment, it had everything we needed with a very homely feel. The location is perfect and the view... well, we just couldn't stop looking out of the windows. There are so many beautiful beaches nearby and the tunnels are definitely worth a visit. Our only negative is that we wished we could have stayed for longer, we shall be returning!

Very good location with a lovely view of the sea from the living room. Lots of natural light as well. Stairs are a bit narrow esp the last flight so not recommended for older folks. Close to the promenade and restaurants are all within a short walk.

Excellent 2 bedrooms flat with unrestricted views of the sea being on the top floor. Beautifully decorated, comfortable with all mod-cons. City centre and beach within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Clara’s flat for a weekend break. The seaside views from the living area are amazing and it’s just a short walk to the sandy beach. We loved our break here! The flat is equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy as well as stylishly decorated with modern and retro furniture. Ramsgate has a few hidden gems tucked away and the architecture of the buildings near the beach is amazing. Loved seeing that quite a few houses have been done up and hope that it’s a place on the up. We particularly enjoyed chatting to the locals whilst waiting for the best fish and chips ever outside Shakey Shakey.

We stayed 4 nights during a hot spell of weather and very much enjoyed the convenience of the apartment. The view of main sands is great and it’s very relaxing to watch the goings on from the comfort of the kitchen table or sofa. We brought two toddlers and ended up spending most of our time back and forth to the beach very a bucket and spade experience ending with fish and chips and ice cream. Ramsgate has nice spots and others which you’ll avoid but for us the trip worked well with the age of our children and we all enjoyed the change of scenery and the Kent coast.

What a view!

What a view!

We (two adults and kids ages 3 and 5) had a great stay here. The beds are comfortable with nice bedding, and at night the bedrooms are dark and quiet. The shower is powerful and hot. The kitchen is recently installed and well equipped. The living area is comfortable and furnished with good taste, and has incredible elevated views over the sea. There are plenty of games and DVDs, the TV has Netflix and there are plenty of good quality towels. There’s even a bag of beach toys! It’s a very quick walk down to the beach, the harbour and town centre are also a short walk away and the flat is a great base to explore the wider area.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is a nice flat in an elegant five storey house. The lounge is truly stunning when you first walk in, the photos don’t do it justice. The light is fantastic. Flat great, everything catered for. Bit disappointed with Ramsgate, the flat is clearly in the ‘nice end’ but if you walk into town things deteriorate unfortunately with not much to do and a lot of noisy traffic and chav cars (not the only town to suffer from that) and shabby shops. Obviously not the owners fault, just how it seems to be. Broadstairs however is a huge contrast and we walked it twice and also got the bus there on another occasion. In other words easy to get to and Broadstairs is a really nice place with a great beach. I would recommend the property but be aware the road below is quite noisy and there is a live music venue right across the road! Ramsgate is OK as a base but not as a resort in my opinion.

We spent three wonderful months in Clara's flat in Ramsgate. Everything was marvelous! Clara is a sweetie, and her flat is grand. Superbly comfortable, and the view is sublime! Highly recommend Clara's flat and Ramsgate. Beautiful sights, friendly folks -- you won't be disappointed!

Lovely spacious flat overlooking the harbour. Very quiet and peaceful. The flat really contains everything that you can possibly need for a familyvacation and the Wi-Fi is fast which in our family with children of 8 & 16 is very important Clara ,our landlord, was also super nice and accommodating and she is so easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. We loved everything about the flat and we will 100% be returning there. Thank you to Clara &Jonathon for 2 marvellous weeks. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone visiting Ramsgate .

This flat is outstanding because of the views also the lovely vintage feel of the decor. We went with two teenagers so the Wi-Fi helped! A neat compact and relaxing environment. The flat is at the very top of the property so be prepared for quite some stairs - bit narrow at the top so not suitable for anyone who is less able or has difficulty with free movement. This did not distract from the overall feel of our stay which was very relaxing and comfortable.

My husband and I wanted to treat our little grandson to a holiday by the sea and we could not have wished for a more lovely place to stay. Perfect location and a marvellous time was had by all. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

The flat have a really nice design all over. Its provided with absolutely everything you can possibly need, and in top of it the most amazing views of the sea from everywhere you sit in the gorgeous lounge-kitchen front room, also quiet and definitely a peaceful atmosphere in a fantastic period building. Owners very approachable and, if you wish to explore, all you need to know about this beautiful area its there in their welcome book.. We will stay here again for sure!!

Stayed here for the weekend with friends. We had a great time in Ramsgate, the flat made the perfect base from which to explore the area. The view of the sea was breathtaking. Great for a break with friends but would also suit a small family. We will be back!

The flat, views and Ramsgate in general made for a fantastic weekend away. We have two small boys (3&1) and this accommodation had everything we needed with even toys for the kids. This has easily turned into our favourite weekend escape and we shall certainly be going again. Phil

This is a lovely bright and spacious apartment with stunning views of the sea and towards the harbour. It was clean and tidy with all the amenities one needs. Clara was very helpful in supplying all the necessary information which made all the arrangements easy to follow. There is free unlimited street parking and we were able to park right outside on all 3 days of our stay (Sun-Tues). Apart from being such a an attractive apartment it was an ideal place to stay for exploring the Isle of Thanet and beyond. Fully recommended - we loved it!
