Exactly what listing describes
3.0 / 5.0
The house was well kept and fresh. Convenient location. Not "luxury" by any means, ground floor in a so-so complex of homes and apartments
4.0 / 5.0
Clean, updated kitchen and bathrooms. A little smaller than shown in listing photos. Location is a couple of blocks away from what is shown on the listing map.

Cute little house and porches. Plenty of space and conveniently located near downtown. The parking is a little sketchy, and there is a lot of street noise at night. But that is to be expected in that location. They need blackout curtains in the second bedroom and curtains downstairs in the dining room.

The house was an easy, drive and conveniently located. We loved the Charleston porches, and everything about the interior! Plenty of room for us to spread out and plenty of kitchen amenities for cooking.
I highly recommend a stay here!

This is a nice property. Very clean, a little smaller than it looks in the picture, but it is a historic home, so that’s to be expected. 2nd bathroom was very small. Communication with the property manager was very easy by text message, and they always responded and brought over what we needed. Parking was around the corner behind another house, so not super easy. The neighborhood had a lot of restaurants that we could walk to and we were able to pick up CARTA just 1.5 blocks away, which was nice. Overall, I was happy with the property. The area is a little noisy at night with sirens, and things like that. Probably, because it is in an older area of town.

Excellent location next to King Street. Easy parking, gated courtyard and very nice/as advertised inside.

We stayed here for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday. She and her friends absolutely loved it. There’s a large table where we were able to eat and play games. Such a cute house! The only thing was parking. It’s not far of a walk but it is behind a house that’s falling in, so it was a little creepy. I will say it was very well lit, so that helped. The overall the stay was great. Fast communication with the owners. No real complaints here! Would definitely stay again.

We had a group of adult family in Charleston and found enough space to stretch out for dinner and games at the table for 8+ and living area was ample for sitting together. There is no light above the dining table or at all in the 2nd bedroom so it was darker than we might have liked. Both bathrooms were nicely appointed. The kitchen had ample equipment and dishes, much nicer than others where I have stayed. The location has some parking challenges. Only 2 hours on the street. There is 1 spot for the unit around the block, so if there is more than 1 vehicle involved you will have limited options. The city definitely tickets out front. Location is good to get to King Street.

House is very well setup for groups to stay. There house is close to King St and easy to walk around from. We would stay there again in the future.

We loved this beautiful historic home. Very chic! Beds were very comfortable-slept like a baby! We loved that it has two designated off-street parking spots directly in front of the home. A huge plus for Charleston!! It is a little far to walk to Market/Shopping area for those who don’t like to walk. There are plenty of food spots very close for an easy walk.

Beautiful property in a great location! We parked and walked everywhere! Comfortable for all 4 of us to lounge, cook, and hang out. Responsive communication with property management. We’d highly recommend!

Being our first time in Charleston we for sure wanted to visit Kings St. This house was a great location for that. The short walks to and from everything were perfect. The house met all our needs. House manager was very quick to respond. Check in and check out we’re a breeze. Would for sure stay here again!

This property was very nice, super clean, and in a great location! The management team was super responsive, and their communications were always prompt and very detailed. It’s decorated nicely, and was perfect for my group of 6 women traveling in for a bachelorette.
I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

The property is a 5 Star. Very clean and comfortable.
1 block off of King Street at the end of the strip.
Cute coffee shop a few minutes away. Island Provisions.
Great pizza place just steps away. DAL's Pizza.
The only downside is the street noise and people walking by and talking. You can hear everything. So, if you are going to sleep between 1130pm-2am. This might not be the place for you.

This home was in the perfect location for our needs. We were able to walk to King Street and felt safe at night walking back. We were also a short drive to Rainbow Row and a lot of other historic sites. The check-in/check-out process was super easy and straightforward. We didn't end up needing to reach out for anything because everything was provided. The only negative was the lighting kind of sucked at night because it's all lamps, but we understand it's an old house, so ladies I recommend bringing a travel mirror with a light to do your makeup ;) We loved the deck and balcony for morning coffee or sitting out at night listening to the nightlife walking by. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property.

Overall the home was clean, however the surrounding neighborhood was a bit run down. This was an older home and was beginning to show signs of wear. Would benefit from a refresh with coat of paint on some of the walls.

Space was great for group relax together. Location was a little further out than we expected, but the neighborhood was super cute.

This property was exactly as pictured… stunning in pics and in person! It’s so amazing how they can turn these old houses into “new”! Beautifully furnished and decorated. Loved spending time on the 2nd floor piazza and watching the world go by. Was able to walk to King Street and grab dinner and then walk around College of Charleston. We parked overnight right outside of the house with no issues (even though they did offer off-street parking a block away). Communication with property manager was easy. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and 2 friends from Denver stayed for a long weekend here. The house was as depicted online and was conveniently located, super clean and well appointed.
5.0 / 5.0
This property was very clean and was in a good location. It is within walking distance to King Street where there are a lot of restaurants. There are two full size bathrooms with a half bath downstairs. This was very convenient for our party of 6. We especially liked sitting on the upstairs piazza after a long day of sight-seeing.
1.0 / 5.0
Broken ice maker, back pillows on sofa missing, dirty linens, dirty in general, large holes in plaster, roach in shower, outside clapboards are streaked with filth, no screens in windows, windows slam (dangerous) as the cords are missing, majority of blinds broken so you have to move very slat manually, part of washing machine comes off in your hand, dishwasher sounds like a jackhammer, toaster oven covered with burnt/melted plastic. This place is handled by a management group. It appears to me their goal is to get as much money as possible per night and do as little as possible.
I have pictures of the issues listed above.
I also have pictures of the condition in which we left it. It was cleaner than when we took possession.

Great location! Had an issue with the ice maker and property manager was very quick in responding. Great location, short walk to King street and all the main attractions. Very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. They also have a place a few blocks away where you can store bags between check out and leaving town...

The house was just as advertised. The location of being close to a pizzeria and a coffee shop was perfect. We enjoyed the charm and hospitality of Charleston SC.
5.0 / 5.0
The property was well located, within a short walk of King Street with its many restaurants and shops. The historic district locations were within a 20 to 25 minute walk. The kitchen had all the necessities. The bedrooms were comfortable. Would stay here again when visiting Charleston.

Oh my gosh, I am still smiling from the fun we had this past weekend. At first we were going to stay at the Mill House, but decided to look into renting a house. I am so grateful we did. The house was so clean, beds were so comfortable, and it had everything we needed. Great location. We will be back!!!

Enjoyed the time with our friends. Table was perfect for a thanksgiving feast! Kitchen was kind of tight but we figured it out. Did not have cable so at first we thought we had an issue till I was able to borrow a login for ParmountPlus to watch the Iron Bowl - Roll Tide!

There were 4 of us, and we were very comfortable in the space. The bedrooms being upstairs was helpful for those that wanted to sleep in. We appreciated the little touches missing in other B&Bs like comfortable beds and pillows and full length mirrors.

Great location and nice deck!
