Stunning locations and views to die for. Unforgettable! Wonderful infinity pool and breathtaking sunsets. We had the most incredible studio room

Breathtaking views, convenient locations, SUPER nice staff who helped us with everything we needed (even let us use the shower after our check and a full day at the beach before our flight!),food was great and they provided transportation to and from the hotel, highly recommended for an amazing stay in El Nido
I liked everything!!

Beautiful location, with incredible views! The pool area is the best, with amazing view over the sea and cliffs of El Nido, you just can’t get enough of it.
The staff was the nicest, always helping with whatever we needed and their complimentary transportation to and from town was very helpful. We got upgraded to a better room which we were very happy with.
The food and drinks at the restaurant are really good, many options to choose from.
All in all, this was one of the best boutique hotels we’ve tried and we highly recommend it.
everything was great. One thing to improve in the future, the warm water in our room didn’t work at some point. But this still didn’t affect our stay there

The most beautiful views of El Nido from the villas and the main pool. Villas are beautiful and loved staying here. It is very steep to walk up and down to the villas and to get to the main street so they supply a driver to help get you around, which is very helpful. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries or requests.
There was a (strong) funny smell in our room which we discovered was a dead animal and it was then removed but the smell was very strong and should have been picked up by the staff. We were not compensated until we asked to be, which we were very grateful for as they then provided a driver to our next destination for free.

The location, the architecture, the view, the villas, the pool, the breakfast, the sunset - Absolutly everyting!! Super service and nice people! We will be back 💚
Nothing could have been different!

11/10 I would highly recommend Karuna Villas in El Nido. I booked through booking.com, which was very easy.
The front desk receptionists were very quick to respond to my questions on Booking.com and WhatsApp.
They were able to arrange our private shuttles to and from the airport with Zion shuttle service.
When we arrived, Anjie was very personable and helpful. They offered us welcome drinks upon arrival which was a nice touch.
We stayed in the Studio Premier 5 room, which was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 child. The room had 1 king bed and 1 king sofa pull out. They had an extra twin bed frame prepared for us, but we opted to remove it from our room for more space. The balcony view was gorgeous. We utilized the hammock and outdoor bathtub. We appreciated that the bathroom, shower, and sink were detached. The room was also very close to the restaurant and reception area.
The room had an open concept with high ceilings and was very spacious. We loved the design of the rooms with the high quality wood furniture. One thing that was missing from the kitchen was a microwave. The hotel had purified water in the rooms, but we bought bottled water before arriving.
The hotel offers free breakfast. All of the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant.
The infinity pool and view were amazing. The pictures on the website does not do the hotel justice. The hotel was very clean and well stocked. The bed sheets, pillows, and towels were very comfortable.
We want to take the time to thank Anjie for making our trip enjoyable. She helped arrange our tricycles and tours on our first day. Her brother Anthony served as our tour guide of the town and tricycle driver. He took us to the Canopy Walk, Bulalacao Waterfall, Nacpan Beach, and into town to do some souvenirs shopping. The following day, Anthony showed us around El Nido for more shopping and exploring. He was so nice, personable, and patient.
One thing to note, the hotel is not accessible for people with physical handicaps and disabilities. There are many hills and stairs that you must climb. There was 1 time we were unable to get a driver to take us from the bottom to the top of the hotel. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill when a driver is not available.

Fantastic views and friendly staff. Great large rooms with lots of details. The food and breakfast were delicious. Tour and bike rentals can be done directly at the reception which is also very convenient.
4.5
Very nice place, quite different from other accomodations in El Nido, nice decor and amenities. Great to have the complementary drinks on arrival plus drinking water in the room, and very handy to have the free transport to town and back to the hotel! Shout out to staff member Anjie, who helped us very quickly to sort ferry tickets to Coron a few hours before it's departure after our flight was cancelled, she saved the day!

Watching the sunset, the blazing oranges as they sink into the mountainous island Vista of El Nido from your balcony. It's nearly a million dollar view!
Your room has all you need to make yourself comfy. A nice bed, wide windowed doorway with a spectacular view, an outdoor bathtub, kitchen, even mosquito coils!
It helps they provide transportat to town proper for free.
The tours they offer are overpriced, but convenient. If you go to town, you'll find the same tours for a few hundred pesos less.
The decor (nitpicking here) is confusing. There is a big emphasis on African decor, but also there are Thai elements, and Japanese style roofing. It's halo-halo style design
4.5
Good views.
Even though they offer free transport to the town, the communication was awful. We waited an hour for the transport one night after scheduling it for a specific time. The water was also turned off for 4 hours past the time they said it would be back on.

Great location and the view is fantastic. Especially at sunset. Room is spacious and clean with everything you need. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bonus is the excercise you do coming and going from bar/ pool area to room. Would recommend this place anytime😀
Only downside would be if your not into walking up and down steep hill and stairs. This could affect your overall enjoyment of this lovely place.

The bathtub was in the villa. Breakfast was ok but only because we had room service. A minibar was present. Wifi and internet were available with sufficient bandwidth/speed. Views from the pool bar were excellent.
The toilet and showers were outside villa and not private!!!!! The road up to our villa was steep and in terrible condition. The only restaurant available was the pool bar which was too small and the menu was very low quality. We were denied service at the restaurant in the middle of our dinner because they said they had too many orders from other guests even though we were already 2 hours eating and drinking!!!! The nearest beach was not within walking distance and was heavily polluted thus we had to take a taxi service at an extra cost and more than 4km to find a suitable (Vanilla Beach) beach. We were awakened at 07:00 by renovation work in the empty villa above ours (S1) and when is breakfast was delivered at 09:00 I had to go to the reception to tell them to stop the workers so we could eat in some peace.

We stayed in the J5 room, the highest placed room in the property. The view is postcard perfect. Outstanding view of the port and sunset views.
Free drop and pickup from city center / port / major beachs - This is helpful as transport is limited in el nido.
Room service is slow and can do with improvement. They did not clean the breakfast had at the room till late night.
With the road atlease 900 mtrs from the rooms, you are to depend on hotel vehical to drop you and pick you from the main road. With food being a limited option in the resort, going to the main town for dinner is difficult as everthing shuts by 9 pm and getting a ride back is tough.
Book direct, as the prices is 50percent lower if done directly with them. Disappointed with booking com for the unrealistic price i had to pay.

Stunning views, beautiful design and details. Incredibly comfortable bed and the private terrace was an amazing place to relax. The pool also had amazing sunset views and the cocktails were delicious!
Nothing - everything was amazing although if you don’t like the local fauna then the outside toilets might be too much for some.

views overlooking the sea, islands and town. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location.
Excellent customer service. Sarifa made us feel like at home, helped us organise breakfast and transportation so that we could go ahead with our planned activities hassle free.
organising transportation from and to town was as easy as getting in touch with the front desk on the phone. Everything was very easy and got support throughout our stay.
views from the restaurant and the pool are magical and the food was great too. Karuna will be my top recommendation for anyone wanting to visit El Nido.
Karuna has been built on a hill and you can see that the property is property maintained and taken care of.
hard to find a bad thing about Karuna.

The view is beautiful. the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The driver takes you to town whenever you want.
nothing.

Quiet and out of town but you can walk to El Nido town in 20 mins. they also have free shuttle.
We loved the location and views and took photos. There is a beach at the bottom of the road and cross the road, but we preferred the hotel pool and used the pool a few times.
The room was spacious and clean and we used the balcony for quiet time.
There is an outdoor shower and 1 tucked away from view so best of both worlds.
Not for those who want to be in centre of town and walk everywhere. We liked the 20 min walk into town and did it twice and the shuttle took us into town many times over our 7 day stay. Be prepared to use stairs to your bungalow and up to breakfast as it is built on side of steep hill. We liked it but others may not.
4.5
The villa (studio 2) and the views were simply amazing. fast repliers when we needed support and very convenient transport service to the city. friendly staff.
The location is not the best and we didn’t like the breakfast… The bread and the coffee weren’t very good.
