Nothing
The staff didn't have a clue that we had a booking. They gave a room with dirty blankets.

Typical average Indian Hotel standards & service.
Would have been nice to have a hand with the luggage up the stairs bearing in mind there were 4 staff at reception who appeared to be doing very little.

Very nice and spacious room. All the staff were absolutely lovely. a pleasure to deal with!
location could be better (hence a 9 instead of 10), as its a bit of a walk to the main road, but still good enough.

Returning from our trip to Darjeeling and Sikkim we stayed again in Yaksha Holiday Home. Again we are pleased about the great hospitalty and helpfulness of the staff. This time the nice and clean restaurant belonging to the hotel had open and we enjoyed the freshly cooked dinner and breakfast.

. Room was big, very clean, lovely staff, good value for money. Location was good, Lovely Green terrace with sitting area. Would highly recommend
WorthBreakfast was included but quantity was very small. We opted bread and omelette and omelette was so small that it felt like half an egg's with 3 slices of bread. We bought one breakfast and for the money it's very small portion. The other option was 3 puries with a curry, no pickles even. We had to tell them that it wasn't acceptable and they made more omelette. It's worth looking into it by the team as everything else was excellent.

For starters, the room was larger than it looked in the photos! The room also had all basic necessities besides being spotlesssly clean. Had functional plug points, which is a rarity in budget hotels. The buidling on the whole looked very spacious and well ventilated. Has a nifty coffee shop, where breakfast is served - a kind of coffee shop you can laze all day!! I have not stayed in a better budget hotel, anywhere! Not to forget the extremely polite and non-intrusive staff!
Cant think of any!

I had a wonderful experience at the YAKSHA. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!
