About this house rental
Sit back, relax and enjoy your vacation in a very comfortable beach style home located at 257 Georges Bay Road in the Bermuda Bay section of Oceanside Village, a gated community in Surfside Beach with 24/7 security. Whether you are planning a family vacation or getting a group of friends together, this house will fill all your needs. We comfortably sleep 16. Pac-n-Play available for your use. The gated secure beach parking for cars or golf carts is only a 5 minute ride away. Your rental includes the use of 2 golf carts, beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, bikes, and more.
If you are a golfer, bring your clubs and enjoy a variety of excellent golf course choices. For the kids and adults, there are several miniature golf courses in the area. You can always cook at home or select from numerous fine eating establishments in the area. Just north of Surfside Beach is Myrtle Beach, just south is Murrells Inlet, known for the Marsh Walk. If shopping is your thing, there are several malls, outlets and consignment shops. There are several theaters nearby, Market Commons, Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot landing are great tourist attractions!
Our home has 3 levels. The first level sleeps 6. It has been renovated to include full size appliances, an island with seating for 4. A sunroom with 3 sliding glass doors, a queen size sofa, 2 swivel chairs and a 50-inch wall mounted TV. It has 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 king). A queen sofa sleeper. Each bedroom has a TV.
The kitchen area is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, single serve coffee, stove, refrigerator. There is a patio, overlooking the fountain, with a table and chairs and a gas cooker. The bathroom is equipped with a mounted hair dryer. Wi-Fi is included.
This level can be rented separately during off peak time.
The second and third levels sleeps 10. Bedroom 1 has a King bed with adjoining bath. Bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin bed with adjoining bath. Bedroom 3(level 3) has a queen and a twin with adjoining bath. Each bathroom is equipped with a mounted hair dryer.
The second level has open concept living room (queen sofa bed), kitchen, dining all overlooking a beautiful fountain. There is a porch off the living room half screened, half open with chairs and a gas cooker. The front porch boasts wicker seating to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun rises. Each bedroom has a TV. The living room has a TV, DVD, a play station 4 game with 2 games suitable for kids. The kitchen table seats 6, the counter seats 4, there are 4 tray tables, and you can bring up the card table for additional seating. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessities and 2 coffee pots, regular and Keurig.
You will have access to all the amenities that the village has to offer indoor heated pool open year round, outside: kiddy pool, water park, hot tub, swimming pool. Also included: Playground, tennis, basket ball, volleyball, and bocce ball courts.
In the garage, you will find a card table and chairs, foos ball table, dart board, air hockey with a ping pong table top, a bocce set and a corn hole game. There are several beach chairs, boogie boards, bikes, balls, and beach toys available for your use. Also included for your enjoyment are books, games, magazines and puzzles.
This level is available for separate rental during off peak time.

We had a blast over Labor Day Weekend. The house was great. Our family loved the room that the house provided. We also loved the golf carts that were provided to ride to pool and beach. The pictures do not do the house justice. Marsha, the owner was very responsive. No complaints! We will definitely book again soon.

THE HOUSE WAS AMAZING. THE GRANDKIDS LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE FISHING BEHIND THE HOUSE, THE TURTLES, THE POOL AND SPLASH PAD, AND OF COURSE THE BEACH. HAVING THE 2 GOLF CARTS WAS A BIG PLUS AS BRINGING A CAR TO THE BEACH PARKING LOT IS HARD IF YOU DONT' GET THERE WAY EARLY. WE HAD A PROPOSAL AND A 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY WHILE THERE. THEY SUPPLIED BEACH CHAIRS, TOYS AND TOWELS, ALL OF WHICH GOT USED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE FOR ANY FAMILY. MARSHA WAS ALWAYS QUICK TO RESPOND WITH ANY QUESTIONS, EVEN WHEN WE LOST INTERNET BECAUSE MY SIL UNPLUGGED THE CONNECTION TO IRON HIS PANTS!! IT WAS A WONDERFUL STAY AND WE ARE PLANNING ON GOING BACK NEXT YEAR FOR A WEDDING. WE STAYED IN THE COMMUNITY THE WHOLE TIME AND COOKED ALL MEALS THERE. PLENTY OF DISHES, POTS AND PANS OF EVERY SIZE AND THE CROCK POT WAS A PLUS. THANKS MARSHA FOR EVERYTHING.

Our host Marsha was very quick to respond to me with questions that I had upon arriving to the house. There were 13 of us, 5 children and 8 adults staying at the house and it couldn't have been more perfect for our family. We really enjoyed the screened deck where we could watch the swan family and see the fountain
We had fun driving the golf carts and we loved that we could take them to the beach, park, and pool. there were plenty of beach toys and beach chairs for us to use.
The only thing that we a little inconvenient was when we arrived we had to put the sheets on all the beds. I also wish we had a few more shower towels. That being said, I would defiantly not let that stop me from staying her again if we come back.

Our family of 6 stayed in this beautiful home. Lots of space to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Plenty of games, puzzles, movies and more to do. The 2 golf carts were great to take a ride around the neighborhood, to the beach, or to the pool. It was easy to get in touch with the manager. She went beyond what we could have imagined to make our Christmas stay great! All this and the house was situated along a waterway with an amazing, beautiful fountain. We loved seeing the geese and swans visiting. Truly an amazing place situated in a gated community. We loved it!

The property was clean, safe and overall it was peaceful. I like the quite time from 11:00 am -7:00am. We enjoyed the golf cart rides throughout the neighborhood. Our house manager was awesome. I would recommend this home for a vacation rental to my family and friends. Thanks Carolyn ❤️ 😊

We had 10 in our group! There was plenty of room for us all! Loved the house, was very comfortable! Felt like home! Golf carts were a big plus! Beth was very sweet to leave us a special treat for our anniversary (50th). House was very clean too! We hope we can return again sometime!

This was a great property, with a perfect location for our family. The availability of two golf carts made it easy for our family of 10 to get around, to and from the beach and the neighborhood. I will say the online photos need to be retaken, because they do not do the home justice and make it look smaller than what it truly is. And HUGE shout out to Beth the property manager!! 5+ stars on communication, responsiveness, and updates on happenings around town!!

This home is perfect for a great family vacation!! The layout of the house allowed all 15 of us, ranging in age from 1-70 years old, to have space whether together in one area or in various rooms of the house. The two golf carts were enjoyed as our transportation to the beach nearby as well as the community building and park. We also enjoyed using them to ride through the neighborhood to see Halloween decorations on display. Games, bikes, beach supplies, air hockey, puzzles...they have it all! It is conveniently located near stores and restaurants. We had the best time making memories and hope to bring our family here again sometime. Marsha was a great host, always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. This home comes highly recommended if you are looking for a great place to vacation!

The location of the property was great for us. It's not on the beach, but the area where it's located is beautiful. The house was fully loaded too. Games, bikes, gear for the beach, GoCart's, and movies all carefully thought out and for all ages! The community it sits in has a pool, a playground, and a few different types of courts. Our only issue was that upon arriving, the house had not been properly cleaned. It was disappointing. If it were not for this detail, I would give our stay a 10/10. Sadly, I have to say, it's a 3 or 4 at most. Cleaning behind a previous guest, hard to recover from that.

“Out of the North” is a great place to stay at Surfside Beach! There’s plenty to do in Oceanside Village. If you prefer going out shopping and seeing shows, those are also very convenient from this location. We really enjoyed the golf carts and bikes!

Great winter vacation spot!
We spent the Christmas holiday here with family and everything was great! The kids (ages 4-14) all had a blast and especially liked the complex’s indoor pool which was bathtub warm and the golf carts, puzzles, and games. We lucked out with 70 degree days at the beach! Kitchen had everything we needed and it was wonderful to have a huge pantry to put all the groceries we brought for a week stay with 8 people. Beds were comfy and we had PLENTY of bathrooms (the house has 5!). We appreciated all the provided beach towels (I think there were like 20!) and having two washers and dryers! We got to see swans and geese off the back deck. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home with lots of extras!
I booked this home for a last minute vacation for my family and I. It was originally just my husband and our 2 children ages 14 and 17. My father and my 11 year old nephew ended up joining us also. Marsha the owner was very responsive and answered every question that I had. This is a beautiful home and we most definitely would rent again! The house was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order and we had no issues during our stay. There is so much to do just in the home itself. From board games, movies, Playstation 4, air hockey, you name it and it was there for your enjoyment. The garage was fully stocked with whatever you might need at the beach. From the golf carts, bicycles, boogie boards, countless beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys,and buckets!! The beach was amazing and there is so much to do in the village! We found ourselves at the beach and then visiting all 3 pools daily. Thank you Marsha for such a great time!

Great amenities and plenty of room to spread out. Golf carts and beach chairs/umbrellas were a big hit. We had grandparents and three families with kids. Everyone had space and it was nice having the extra fridge and laundry downstairs. We’d recommend!

Great property for several family group vacation
We stayed at this house with our two children, my sister's family and my parents. This house basically had room for each family to have their own floor. The grill was in good shape and clean. The golf carts are a great inclusion, as are the beach chairs , beach toys, and beach towels. We would definitely rent this house again.

Awesomeness
If you have a family.....we can't recommend this property enough. Big, beautiful and fun. Plenty of room for everyone in your family. The owners have done a fantastic job of making this property very comfortable for your stay. We had our 40th wedding anniversary celebration here and it was wonderful. Plenty of activities for the kids at the house...or in the gated community. Multiple pools, and play areas for everyone. Two fantastic golf carts to get you around....minutes from the private beach area as well. And as a bonus....a fantastic restaurant directly on the beach. The owners are fantastic....I can't recommend this property enough. We hope to stay again next year.

Family beach week
The house was spacious and having the extra kitchen was a plus as we cooked every day for 8 folks. We had cello and violin practices and 3 stories kept the sound manageable. There were many things for the grandchildren to play with and they enjoyed having golf carts to ride in. All in all everyone was comfortable Nd happy with these accommodations.

Multi-Age Huge Family Vacation
We have EIGHT children, yep, EIGHT! They age from 1 year old to 22 years old. So, other than absolutely being crazy people, finding a place to stay on vacation that meets our needs is difficult. Add to that the adult children tend to bring their boy/girl friends and we are those people that don't let unmarried kids sleep together - and, well that leads to a booking nightmare.
Enter this beautiful home with TONS of space and every beach/pool toy you could ask for. There were plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable and a pack & play for the baby. Plenty of bathrooms so no one is arguing. Game systems and a garage full of activities for rainy days or afternoons where you just want to relax.
The kitchen is well stocked and has a nice size pantry. The linen service was great! We knew the linens were just for us!!
Best part is the neighborhood. The neighborhood is gated and the 2 golf carts make everything convenient. The pools were crystal clear, the playground was fun, the splash pad was enjoyed multiple times and the private parking at the beach was terrific. The Conch restaurant by the beach parking is great. We were close enough to Myrtle, but far enough away!
All in all, this was our favorite rental and we rent from VRBO at least twice a year. High praises for the home and the owners, who were incredibly kind and always available for our questions. We WILL be back.
