ABOUT ECCLESTON SQUARE. A highly desirable place to both to live and visit, Eccleston Square -- a collection of beautiful 19th century townhouses built around a 2.5 acre garden square -- dates to the 1830s. At that time, the area was known as "Lower Belgravia" -- an extension of the Aristocratic enclave of "Belgravia" just a few blocks away. Winston Churchill moved to Eccleston Square a year after marrying Clementine Hozier, and their first two children, Diana and Randolph, were born here. Today, Eccleston Square consistently wins London’s ‘Best Garden Square Competition’ for its cultivated beauty and unusual selection of rare plants. As a Greenhaven guest, enjoy access to this 'residents only' private garden and its many seating, dining, lounging, tennis court and play areas along with its meandering walking paths through 'mini garden' settings for a magical botanical experience.

We loved our stay. The place was spotlessly clean, and wine awaited us with snacks for the kids. They had everything we needed for our family of 5. Great location with a very short walk to Victoria station. One of our favorite VRBO stats we’ve ever had!

This lovely apartment was located in a quiet, pretty neighborhood yet was very close to restaurants and transportation. It was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The private garden was beautiful and peaceful. A nice added touch was the complimentary snacks/drinks and plenty of coffee. Would definitely return!

Quiet street but close to Victoria station, so easy enough to get around. I am impressed by how many amenities are included in the rental.

Paula was a wonderful and informative host! She answered all my questions in a timely manner and made our trip to London very easy to navigate! We would recommend to anyone headed over the pond.

We enjoyed our time at Greenhaven in the Eccleston Square Garden area very much and would look forward to another stay when we are in London. The accommodation and location were exactly what we needed to enjoy our first London experience.

The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and more. Clean, comfortable, convenient, with the bonus of a gorgeous English garden just across the road. A true oasis in the city. We are looking forward to returning!

Had an amazing time at our stay in London in this very cute apartment. Everything you need she really has available. (Coffee, soaps, linens, detergent) was very comfortable for my family (husband and one child). The only thing I didn’t realize (that didn’t notice or look for it) was that the master bedroom is pretty small with a full size bed and no door, it’s a curtain you close, which was a little bit of a privacy issue with having a 10year old, would have liked to be able to shut a door, and was a bit of an adjustment for my husband and I. But it certainly did not impact our stay, just a bit of an adjustment and work around with the curtain instead of a door. Overall our stay was wonderful and the apartment was very nicely decorated and very clean.

Our group of three adults really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with great attention to detail. A quiet residential neighborhood, yet within easy walking distance to transit and restaurants.

We travelled to London as a group of 3 and stayed in Paula's home. It was centrally located so we were able to walk to most attractions we meant to see and those that were a bit too far to walk to were easily accessed via: train, the station was literally a two minute walk away.
The house itself was clean and comfortable and was pleasantly stocked with snacks and a full complimentary bar which we took advantage of each evening returning from a full day of activities. It was a very thoughtful and generous touch!
We loved the home and area it was located in. Highly recommended!!!

The flat was cozy, but had plenty of space for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Every possible need was anticipated with amenities you expect in a high end hotel. Nespresso, drinks and snacks were appreciated when arriving on a drizzly, dark winter afternoon. Clothes washer and separate dryer were really useful. Be aware this is a garden-level apartment with a flight of narrow steep stairs down if you have mobility issues, but the railing is sturdy and it was no problem for us even when wet. The location is great - in a well-lit, upscale neighborhood and walkable to Victoria station, groceries, many restaurants and tourist sites. Overall, a fantastic stay and we hope to be back.

We loved this unit in London. The apartment was well stocked with linens and towels, and even an assortment of teas, coffees, and snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a lovely stay here!! Paula is a wonderful host. So nice, terrific communication. An excellent manual is provide about the flat, local restaurants, tourist information, etc. And the flat is truly as pictured online - very comfortable, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, well supplied in all respects. The neighborhood is great - quiet, super convenient location. Loved the private garden!

We really loved everything about this lovely place! It was clean, beautifully decorated and had air conditioning. The beds are comfortable. Paula has thought of everything! It’s just a short walk to Victoria station which we found very convenient. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful private access garden across the street! We took one stroll in it at dusk and saw a fox! That was an unexpected treat!
Don’t hesitate to stay here if you’re coming to London!

Paula delivers on everything she promises and more!
We chose this location for access to Victoria station and for the AC (AirCon) and we were not disappointed. She stocks the flat with all the amenities listed (snacks, full bar, full coffee and tea service) and the home and linens are spotless upon arrival. She even leaves the key to the secret garden across the street where our kids had a delightful time meeting the neighborhood puppies during after dinner walks.
And she arranged everything from a car to handle airport transport to sending info about the neighborhood and nearby restaurants. We couldn't have been more comfortable during our stay!

The apartment was exactly as described and suited our family of 4 perfectly. Clean, safe apartment in nice neighborhood and we really enjoyed the private park across the street. Easy walking distance to Victoria Train and Bus stations...took the bus directly from LHR to a 5 minute walk to the apartment. Highly recommend!

My 3 adult daughters and I stayed here for 4 nights and everything was exactly as described. The property is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and is walking distance to many popular attractions. Paula is an excellent host and quickly responds to any question or need. Definitely recommend.

Very clean, well stocked apartment, within walking distance to many of the sites and main train/bus station.
A bit tight for 5 people and luggage, but we spent most of our time exploring the city.

Paula does a fabulous job adding amenities to a beautiful place…we loved the location…felt safe and loved the garden across the street for our morning coffee as well.
Close to the underground and all was good..would definitely go back!

I will definitely return.

Our family had a very comfortable stay. This apartment is very central, quiet and our every need was provided for. An easy checkin, a welcome tray of goodies, a well stocked pantry and kitchen, a great high pressure shower, the efficient washer, dryer and dishwasher and warm heating system meant that we wanted for nothing. The bonus of the access to the private garden opposite was a rare treat. Paula the host looked after us before and during our stay, sharing her inside knowledge of the area and allowing us to book an extra day at short notice. A lovely place to be.
5.0
The property is clean, modern, safe, and well-equipped. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, and location was ideal. Best of all, the property's host, Paula, is fantastic--super organized, very responsive, and had great travel suggestions. We had a wonderful stay in London over the holidays.
5.0
This unit is just as advertised. Our stay was great with only a few hang-ups. The dual-flush toilet reservoir valve hung a few times and one time would not resolve itself and I had to repair it, something I'm all too used to with my own home. The entry code given to me was accurate for the first entry, but it appears to have been programmed as a single-entry code by mistake; after 30 minutes trying to access the unit for the second time, the owner was able to get back to me with a new code that was hard-coded. These were very minor issues, and overall I would recommend this unit.

Clean, well equipped, great location, beautiful area, and park nearby! Cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful, too!

The location of this property in relation to popular destinations and underground access was great. The green space in the park across the street and the amenities available with the apartment made this the perfect place to stay while traveling in London.

We loved our stay in London. The property is very well located with a huge bonus being so near to Victoria Station. The location is quiet and felt very safe. Having access to the park was wonderful - it is a beautiful sanctuary and we recommend spending some time there. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area to enjoy, along with grocery stores. Communication with Paula was excellent. The unit was very clean and well-equipped. Paula goes way above and beyond, adding many extra touches that we haven't experienced elsewhere. As mentioned in other reviews, there are stairs down to navigate so consider that if you have accessibility concerns. (We were completely fine with the stairs.) We stayed as a family of 5 and were comfortable, making use of the pull-out sofa as well as the 2 bedrooms. We will be back to this rental and do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

As a real estate agent …I can be very critical…Paula did a fantastic job modernizing this apartment! Every square inch was well thought out. The pictures are very accurate. Location was incredible…I took a daily walk to Buckingham Palace each morning. Just a 10 minute walk to Victoria Station and Coach Station. My favorite part was the “Secret Garden” across the street. My Wife and I would sit with a glass of wine in the evening and decompress from the busy day!

I absolutely loved our experience at this property. Paula (owner) truly thought of everything. The decor was beautiful and perfect. The amenities were more than generous. She really thought of the little details like having extra phone chargers to umbrellas and a rolling shopping bag, not-to-mention cute and fully equipped picnic baskets to take to the private park across the street. The kitchen had anything and everything one could need (expect refrigerated items of course) and the minibar was a delight. Being able to do laundry was a blessing; she even provided laundry detergent and many other cleaning products. The location was ideal for hopping on the tube or walking to major sites like Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. We cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner. Paula went above and beyond and was always available when we called with questions. We highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

Wonderful London Apartment w/ Secret Garden
My family of four really enjoyed this apartment. It is very nicely update in every room. The location for exploring London is ideal, particularly since it is close to mass transit. The neighborhood is adorable, and this apartment comes with access to THE BEST gated garden I’ve ever seen. Be sure to save time to spend in the garden—you won’t regret it! The one downside for my family was that this apartment has small beds. The only large bed is a “comfortable” pull out couch in the living room. That said, we had a wonderful stay and would rent this property again.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Paula's lovely flat for 3 nights in May 2022. Conveniently located between Chelsea and Westminster, the flat is central to most of London's favorite spots. While in a pretty residential area, access to restaurants and supermarkets are less than half mile away. The flat is also within walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and Harrods. The weather was exceptional during our vacation and my family and I walked a LOT during our stay which we enjoyed. Public transportation was also very close by and Uber's were easily accessible.
Although on the small side as far as American standards go, the flat was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. The main bedroom is very small, housing just a bed and dresser. It also did not have a door but rather blackout curtains instead so not much privacy. The second bedroom was adjacent to the kitchen. It too was small and had a day bed and dresser. Both rooms were fine as we were out most of the days and only back at nights.
One of the greatest perks of the flat was the clothes washing machine and dryer. I hate traveling with dirty clothes and having the ability to wash and dry clothes was great. Another perk was the drinks and snacks Paula has out for guests. After a long flight, I loved arriving to a bottle of wine, water, and snacks!
Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Paula was always readily available via phone and/or email. We enjoyed our stay in London and would highly recommend Paula's flat.

We enjoyed a week at Paula’s flat on Eccelston Sq. and loved the accommodation and location. Paula was enormously responsive and helpful throughout the week. Stayed at many VRBO apartments and this one of the best.
