About this apartment rental

During this time of the pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to keep our guest house extremely clean for each guest. We use disinfectant wipes for the most touched surfaces, wash all the laundry in hot water, open windows for air exchange and use a keypad for contactless check-ins. We hope that this extra care will make you feel safe, clean and right at home!

Our Wildside Retreat is your private getaway while you visit Bozeman, Montana and Yellowstone country. Located 3 miles south of downtown, you are surrounded by woodlands, fields and stunning mountain views. This one bedroom(queen bed), one full bath apartment within our home is located near our backyard pond and is but a one minute walk from Sourdough Creek Trail; a beautiful park with miles of nature trails for hiking, biking, and running. A separate entrance and parking area make your stay all yours, and we are on site for any assistance you may need.

Inside, you'll find a sitting area facing the pond, a full kitchen and an eating area. The bathroom features a shower/bath stocked with fresh towels, hair dryer and other amenities you may need or have forgotten. There is a washer and dryer in an adjacent laundry room available for your use. We also have high-speed wireless internet, a library of Denver's photo books and many others to browse, and board games. Enjoy sitting outside on your private porch overlooking the pond. If you need an additional bed(good for one person only) one may be added to the main room for $20/night.

Bozeman and the surrounding area offer world-class fishing, hiking, biking, rafting and skiing. Having lived here for many years, we are happy to make recommendations for your desired excursions. Yellowstone National Park and Big Sky are both easy day trips, and Bridger Bowl Ski Area is a short 15 minute drive from town.

This was first trip to Bozeman, and we didn’t know what to expect. Approaching the park-like green space of the property, we were greeted by Denver, our host. He helped us with the coded entry and shared his recommendations for “Wild Crumbs” bakery, for what proved to be out-of-this-world pastries in the morning. The woodsy cabin-like interior featured a modern, fully-stocked kitchen, comfy living area, and bedroom featuring a luxurious king-size bed. The floor coverings were a delight to our bare feet. The bathroom and shower were modern and restorative. The decor reflected an active outdoor Montana sensibility, with framed camerawork from Denver’s years photographing wildlife in Africa. Denver and Ann put together an invaluable “Welcome folder,” with savvy suggestions for hiking and other activities, as well as a guide to local dining. We headed home after a too-short three night stay, regretting having to leave. I can’t imagine a better, more hospitable base from which to explore the many attractions of Bozeman.

Beautifully landscaped property on a large corner lot with trees, pond and the occasional deer. Basement rental with a walkout and plenty of windows to keep it light and bright. Furnished comfortably and artistically. Across the street from trails. Would recommend replacing shower head and toilet which sits very low. One of the most beautiful places we have stayed.
