About this cabin rental
Treat yourself to a real Maine experience - stay in a 1800-sq foot pine log cabin nestled in the woods off a dirt road, on a private lake. This charming log home sits on beautiful Coleman Pond (no public access with an across-the-pond-view of 150 acres of undeveloped conservation land). A private dock awaits you for hours of swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and floating in tubes.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch listening to the call of the loons, curl up in the comfy rope hammock with a good book, or cozy up to the fire pit for campfire songs and s'mores.
This cabin was built with year-round use in mind, and is equipped with a modern kitchen with red painted cabinets, soapstone counters, a soapstone farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, a dishwasher, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Surf-and-turf feasts are easy to prepare with the propane lobster cooker and new Weber gas grill. The cabin has two full bathrooms (one with shower/tub, one with stall shower), a front-loading washer/dryer, high-speed WiFi access, a landline telephone, radiant floor heat, a working glass-front wood stove, and powerful ceiling fans in each bedroom. Dine indoors with dimmed chandelier or outdoors on two picnic tables. The cabin is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, glassware, dishes, linens and towels and so much more.
One Old Town Discovery canoe and paddles, two single kayaks, one paddleboard, assorted life jackets, and various inflatable tubes available for renter use. The dock and boats are available during the summer months only.

Great location, clean and just enough updates and convinces for today’s current expectations without loosing the classic Maine cabin experience. The setting was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I hope to return one day.

This was a perfect place for us to spend Thanksgiving. Comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. We hope to return someday and enjoy paddling on the beautiful lake in addition to enjoying the lovely view. Close enough to get to restaurants and attractions but a quiet, serene setting.

Great location. Beautiful property.

The cabin (house) is newer and exactly as advertised. It is meticulously clean and well prepared. We enjoyed our stay there and recommend. We used it as base to visit Camden, Bath, Bangor, Augusta etc. The seafood restaurant just down the hill was very good and there are grocery stores not far away. It was a bit cloudy and cool during our stay (mid-June) so we did not spend as much time on the lake out back as we should have. Overall, we have nothing but positive memories from our stay and recommend this property to others.

Stayed here a week with friends and did not want to leave. It was charming...from the well appointed cabin nestled in the woods to the awesome firepit to the spectacular view. Leaves were glorious and the quiet was amazing. It was secluded but close enough to many charming places. Camden, Belfast, Bar Harbor and Acadia are all drivable for a nice day. But the star is the beautiful pond! Hosts were lovely and accommodating. I'd like keep this gem to myself as we will definitely be back, but feel the need to say... 5 STARS!

Cable tv
I was not aware that there was no cable tv- not good on a rainy day-that will prevent me from coming back to that cabin.

Peaceful Woodland Retreat
A beautiful cabin with everything we needed or wanted. The pond was beautiful and we enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. The cabin is only a few miles from Camden and the ocean.

Great family stay!
Great for family stay! Bunk room was large enough for play—we even put up a tent in there for the kids to enjoy The host thought of everything a family might need, bug spray and cotton swabs, games and wi-fi, and a bicycle pump we used for blowing up the float toys! The lake is beautiful and quiet, the location serene, road was just bumpy enough that the baby loved the stroller walks. I LOVED that the fridge and freezer were clean and EMPTY! I did have to rearrange and remove some personal "things" placed decoratively on most surfaces—so as to protect them from the grandkids, and to make a little space for our own collection of cell phones, iPads and baby paraphernalia. Beds were comfortable and there were lots and lots of pillows (a big plus in our family!) All one needs to bring is clothes and food! Everything else is there! A great week. Thank you!

A great place to stay in Maine
The cabin had everything we needed for a week's getaway. Loved that a canoe and kayaks were included so we could get out on the water to explore. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Our only recommendation would be that it would be great if the dock were a little longer since there isn't much room (or sun) to sit on shore. Otherwise, no complaints. Loved our stay at the cabin!

Love our time there.
Property was stocked with all kind of spices and essentials for cooking. Love the used of kayaks and paddle board. The stay would had been perfect if not for the mosquitoes that were out in force daily. We sprayed ourselves everywhere daily and still get bitten.

Loved it! I want one just like this!
Excellent location, clean and comfortable and very relaxing. We had just had a death in the family and all of us were tense and unhappy prior to our visit. But sitting on the porch and watching the lake was just the right therapy for all of us. Thank you again!

Log Cabin on the Pond
We searched for a cabin on the water in Lincolnville later than usual. This cabin was the only one that was appropriate, though far earlier in the season than we like and more expensive than we've ever paid after renting in this area for almost 50 years.

2nd time here and still loving this place!
This was our 2nd summer staying in this home and it was just as great as the year before! The kids had a blast using the water activities they provide. The house is very clean, plenty of space and very well stocked. Not to mention the location is perfect; close to town, and such a beautiful setting on the lake. The owners really think of everything, and they sure were a pleasure to rent from. I definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a great vacation in Maine!

This is a great rental! Quiet location on the lake. Our kids really enjoyed the fishing, swimming, kayaks and paddle board. Accommodations were wonderful and kitchen has all the things you would need to cook & have a lobster bake. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay!
What a great place to stay. It is on a very quiet lake. We canoed and fished and had the entire lake to ourselves. The cabin is great for large families and is centrally located to amazing tourist areas. Nearby Camden has wonderful places to eat and shop.

Perfect lake house!
This home was absolutely beautiful! Exactly the house we wanted to have for our stay in Maine. And the homeowners were super nice and very responsive to any questions we had. Their home was very clean, not cluttered, and it was warm and welcoming. We came with our 4 kids and my parents. 8 of us total, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you need. Not to mention, the beds were very comfortable to sleep in, and the bathrooms were spotless. The home is located right on the lake, which was perfect for my family. My children spent hours fishing off the dock, and my daughter and I paddled board and kyacked together everyday! It was a great, relaxing experience. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Amazing cabin in a beautiful location!
We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot. The cabin is very comfortable (we had 4 adults and 2 kids and had more than enough room) and was very well stocked. We appreciated all of the extra touches - the owners really did think of everything (a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels, toiletries, hampers, laundry detergent, bug spray, the list goes on and on!) In addition to making sure the cabin was well stocked, they left great instructions and helpful hints, and texted us to see if we need anything. The kids loved the double set of bunk beds so they could each sleep on the top bunk. The beds were very comfortable. We had an absolute blast on the lake (we developed a love for paddleboarding!), had many great campfires, and took naps in the hammock! We loved being close to Camden. We visited Camden Hills State Park several times and hiked to the top of two moutains (and then came back to the cabin and jumped in the lake!!). Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your cabin. We didn’t want to leave!

The house that has everything you need
We loved this house! Great location. Beautiful, well taken care of home with lots of amenities, including a canoe and paddle board to explore pristine Coleman Pond. Great space indoors and out. Lots of fun places to explore within a short drive. Very helpful hosts.

Great family getaway
We rented this beautiful home for a family of 5 in town to attend a graduation. It was clean, comfortable and more than enough space for our group. The kitchen, as well as the rest of the house, is well stocked with anything you might need. The setting on the lake is really beautiful and provided some great outdoor time in the canoe and kayak and reading on the dock. We enjoyed the fire pit every night. Location was great. Remote enough to feel relaxing and quiet but easy to get to town.

This cabin was fabulous in every way. Clean, well equipped and filled with fun things to do. We loved the canoe, kayak, paddle board and campfire circle. What a great escape in a beautiful location.

Lily pads, Loons and log cabin leisure!
If you want to experience the true cottage/cabin lifestyle on a Maine pond/lake, then this the perfect setting! The log cabin design features beautiful knotty pine throughout the interior, and although it has a traditional cabin feel, it also has all of the comforts of home. The kitchen includes a large country style farm sink, dishwasher, very nice gas range, microwave, and large refrigerator. The washer/dryer are conveniently located in the mud room near the entrance. The master bedroom is tastefully appointed and the king bed is very comfortable. Both the upstairs and downstairs baths are spacious and clean. The downstairs living area features a Franklin stove, a traditional Maine lake cabin fixture.
The cabin has a large front porch area for relaxing and the property also includes a very nice fire pit, a swing, a barbecue grill, and a hammock for those afternoon naps. The pond access features a newer design dock with a square stern canoe and kayak for navigating Coleman Pond. Life vests/preservers are provided.
Coleman Pond is a beautiful setting and the opposite side of the pond is undeveloped. As they have for decades (or centuries) the Loons patrol the pond and with their wails/calls they complete the peaceful environment that is this tranquil cabin on Coleman Pond.
The cabin is well maintained and was clean and fully stocked with all necessary amenities from paper towels to bath towels. The hosts are excellent with information and answering questions. They have thought of everything to make the experience trouble free. We wish we could have stayed longer. We certainly plan to return next summer.

Modern Log Cabin on beautiful lake
This is a beautiful log cabin house on a large quiet lake that has no public access. The interior of the house is lovely and spacious. It was more than enough space for a family of 4 and could easily accommodate 6 or 8. The lake is great for swimming and the owners also supplied numerous boats for us to use which we really enjoyed. The owners were extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I can't say enough about this spot. It was great!

Best of Maine
Cannot say enough about this gorgeous cabin, its furnishings, and setting. Log cabin is set off the beaten path, but within easy driving distance to Acadia Nat'l Park, Bar Harbor, Camden and Belfast. So much to do if you would like to explore. If you would like to stay at the cabin, the hosts have provided anything you would need to have a great time on the beautiful lake. Our children are teens and were kept busy with the provided paddleboard, kayaks, and canoe. Private dock is partial sun and partial shade during the day, and there is a firepit and wood provided for marshmallow toasting and stories at night. Within the cabin, the hosts have provided ANYTHING you would possibly have forgotten at home. I was honestly better supplied at this cabin than any other cottage or hotel in other states. From bug spray to dental floss, the hosts have carefully thought out all needs of travelers. The cabin itself is spotless and every corner is super clean. The kitchen has all your needs (although we bought our own groceries) and there are several places nearby that provide fresh lobster which you can cook or have them cook. In early July, the temperature was crisp at night sleeping with windows open and did not get higher than 75 degrees during the day-NO humidity! There were board games, puzzles and books to choose from and the kids didn't even need the provided tv with dvds. We were so blessed to have our last leg of a long trip here and achieved total relaxation before coming home. The hosts went out of their way to schedule us in an additional day when we requested it, as well as being at our beck and call with texts and questions. We so appreciated their fast reply to our needs. We will be back!

The Best Cabin Ever
The pictures of the cabin do not do it justice. As you drive down the road you start to notice you really are secluded. Once you arrive the first thing you notice is beautiful Coleman Pond . This cabin came complete with a kayak, canoe ,paddle board ,floats and life vest in various sizes. Which were used daily by my four children. Inside the cabin it came complete with everything listed and more. All the beds were extremely comfortable .The bathrooms were spacious and came with towels and beach towels. The owner was even kind enough to place necessities in case you forgot any in the medicine cabinet . The kids bedroom was perfect for my four since they had two bunk beds. But what was really special was the bookcase with books, games and the loon whistle. My kids spent countless hours in the evenings playing Uno because there is no cable which is a blessing in disguise. The main bedroom does have a tv and dvd player with boxes of movies which we used nightly . The kitchen was complete with everything you could imagine and extras like foil, ziplock bags and spices. The back of the cabin has a wonderful hammock, fire pit and picnic table which was enjoyed by all. This cabin exceeded my expectations and my children can't wait to go back next year and create new memories!

Idyllic setting
Really wonderful and peaceful place to be!! We were there last week of Aug. Coleman Pond is like a small lake, not a lot of boaters on the pond during our stay. The owners have a fully equipped and beautifully kept log home. We had use of their paddle board, canoe, kayak and floating dock. They also have a hammock, picnic tables and great fire pit area! Had a great time! Would definitely like to visit again!!
