The house checked all the boxes! Oceanfront view, water access to swim, play, and fish, a well-stocked kitchen, and double bunks in the tv room that were the perfect hangout space for the boys. There were even pamphlets with local destinations and gems of Harpswell.

Our family has been coming to Maine for vacations for 15 years now. We travel up and down the coast staying on the ocean in different locations. This is one of our favorites. The location is perfect and we always enjoy watching the lobster boats. We could see Orr and Bailey’s island from our house. Good shopping in Freeport was a bonus for our kids school shopping.
We met the owner Dustin who was very nice and very accommodating. Friendly neighborhood was a plus. Harpswell is a great vacation spot.

We had a great time, the area is great and the neighborhood is nice. Particularly special for the 4 year old grandson is the little beach on the property, the big yard, and the nice bedroom for him. Stovers Point to walk to is also a favorite. The house is pretty with big windows.

The property was as described and well stocked. Plenty of space for everyone and the view was awesome!
We saw a family of loons, dolphins, ducks and 2 Bald eagles along with watching the activity of the lobster boats.
Thank you for opening your home.

What a great place for our family to spend a week together. Fully equipped kitchen and large dining table facilitated dinners and conversation for our entire family who now are only all together a few times a year. The living room area is great for games or reading and the deck overlooking the water was popular all day long. Our grandchildren especially liked the bunk beds.
This is a summer home that is perfect if you just want to stay in place, but also perfectly situated to partake in the many outdoor activities that mid-coast Maine has to offer. Our only regret is that it took us so long to discover it

A tucked away little gem of a house. You are greeted with views everywhere you turn and there is plenty of space for everyone to stretch out. We cooked, relaxed, explored, and thoroughly enjoyed all of the comforts this house provides. We definitely hope to return!

I took my two sisters here for their birthday. They are in their sixties and I am seventy. We brought our little dogs. We absolutely loved our stay. We were thrilled with this beautiful home by the sea. We hope to go back. We have been going to the Maine Coast for years and this turned out to be one of our favorite places we have stayed. The view of the water right from the living room can’t be surpassed!

What a wonderful time we had at the house. It was the perfect setting for us to celebrate my Mom‘s 80th birthday. There was plenty of room for our whole family. We loved love large kitchen. The house was perfect for entertaining. The views were spectacular with the little private beach in front and Stover’s Point beach right down the street to explore. We also had a chance to explore the local hiking/walking trails, which were easy to access and beautiful. We would definitely love to come back for another adventure.

We had a great stay at this lovely house! Quintessential coastal Maine property with a deck that had incredible views across the sound and into Casco Bay. It was close to plenty of food options, so we never had to go into town (Brunswick) and had a great kitchen for the many nights that we at in. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable place to stay with one toddler and two dogs. rocky beach on property and nearby tide pool areas were a hit. Nicely stocked and decorated. Good view from the living area and porch. Pretty grassy yard with big oak tree. (I do wish someone would weed the gardens that were clearly once well tended. Bittersweet moving in!)

We enjoyed our week at your property! It was very relaxing and the view was stunning! As a family that is familiar with Maine- born in Farmington, my parents had a B&B in Wiscasset, and yearly trips I new it wouldn't disappoint! Glad we got to share this little slice of heaven with our dear friends as well! From our kids searching for shells below the house and many walks to Stover's Point we know we found a place we'll visit again! Until then we'll always think of "the way life should be!"

What an incredible place! We were in Maine for a very quick weekend for our fathers memorial. Some of us came from quite a distance and though we only had a few days, we were so pleased to stay in such a lovely place right on the ocean. Dustin was a great communicator. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even found a baby gate for the basement stairs. The home was clean, beds comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The yard was so pretty, with thoughtful plantings. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and the deck overlooking the water was spectacular. The perfect spot for morning coffee. We spent time on the private beach, skipping stones and looking through the seaweed for little creatures when the tide was out. We were visited by seals every morning. Really…everything about this home was special. It was the perfect place to be together. Thank you Dustin.

This place was a nice spot on the water where there are very few other places available for rent. We had some issues with the generator and with the plumbing, but otherwise it was uneventful. The owner and their assistant were very responsive. All in all it was a positive experience and I’d stay here again.

The house was so comfortable and the view just said it all . I took a picture on the deck in the early morning (Dustin’s suggestion with coffee) and when asked how my vacation was I show the picture and nothing else needs to be said . Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property in a great location
This home and property was the perfect place for our family and friends vacation this June. The accommodations were as advertised, which I’ve found often isn’t the case. The house has stunning views from almost every room. The yard is also fabulous, with garden beds and beautiful trees overlooking the water. We enjoyed playing cornhole, reading under the big oak and sitting around the firepit watching the sun go down.
The owner, Dustin, was very response to questions or issues. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for both bathing and swimming. We had a group of 9 in our party, and the house accommodated us well. We love to cook on vacation. The kitchen was spacious but could have used more of everything (bowls, cooking utensils, pans of varying kinds, glasses, etc.). Especially with how large our group was we ended up running the dishwasher often.
We would absolutely rent this home again! Our only negative comment would be the water pressure in the home is terrible. It rendered the upstairs shower all but useless. I believe that there is a pressure tank that needed to be replaced which was being done after we left. If that gets replaced it should take care of that issue. Otherwise this was a fabulous rental experience in a perfect setting.

Fantastic Views & Location
The owner of this property was wonderful to work with, and this home had everything we needed, can't express enough how much this was appreciated! The home was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed every aspect inside and out, and the cherry on top was spotting Seals out in the water from the deck. We look forward to returning again in the future!

This house is absolute paradise! The views are amazing and the private rocky beach is so wonderful. I sat for hours watching the tide go in and out. Will definitely stay there again.

We have travelled in Maine quite a bit and in terms of both property, neighborhood and town, this home was a perfect summer get away. The views are unbeatable, the neighborhood beach is a wonderful walk/beach option for all ages and at all tides. The area is stunning and has beautiful hikes, as well as several nice businesses nearby (though with the timing of Covid, we spent most of our time in the neighborhood, which did not disappoint). We can not recommend this property enough and we will look forward to booking a week again in the future!Thank you so much!

Blissful week
This rental is a hidden gem! We just got home from a beautiful week, most of which we spent relaxing on the dock and breathing the salty ocean air, swimming, kayaking, hiking and exploring the charm of Harpswell.
We had plenty of space for four adults and one Golden Retriever with room to spare. Beautiful gardens and breathtaking views of the sound ... everything was as pictured ... with peaceful vibes. A fully equipped kitchen with great appliances and a top notch grill.
We mostly laid low and enjoyed all the property had to offer but we recommend some of the following local attractions: Popham Beach, the Cliff Trail (best hike nearby), Pott's Point for sunset, Pammy's Ice Cream, take out from the Dolphin Restaurant, Morse's Cribstone Grille for lobster rolls, and Cookes for the fried haddock sandwich. Ash Cove Pottery and Land's End gift shop for locally made giftware.
If you plan to cook, stop by the Vegetable Corner and The Bear Wine Shop (peppermint patties a must!) for yummy ingredients.
Dustin was a responsive and gracious host and we thank both he and Kate for a spectacular week. We can't wait to return!

Getting Away from It All
We had the most restful and rejuvenating week at this cottage in Maine. The seven blissful days we spent here at the end of July 2020 almost made us forget about what's going on in the country right now.
The cottage is older and could use some updating, but it was very clean and comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. It's also tastefully and appropriately decorated (not a fan when rental properties are filled with a million knickknacks that basically collect dust).
As others have noted, the best part about this cottage is its location: Right on the water with its own private beach at low tide. The view is so captivating that we didn't even turn on the TV for the first four days we were there. My husband and I sat on the deck or in the front room every morning reading for hours while our teenagers slept in late. One morning a bald eagle swooped right across the deck and into a nearby tree. Once the kids finally got up, they were content to skip stones for hours down on the rocky beach.
We brought our own kayaks and paddled up and down the bay and across to the cribstone bridge—the only one of its kind in the world apparently.
Other highlights were watching the sun set between two islands at Lookout Point; hiking the Giant's Stairs on Bailey Island; eating incredible pizza at Portland Pie in Brunswick; exploring Popham Beach State Park especially at low tide; looking for sea glass at Stovers Point beach just a short walk or kayak from the cottage; strolling through the campus of Bowdoin College; perusing Cabot Mill Antiques in Brunswick; and eating a fantastic lobster dinner and playing corn hole at Estes restaurant in Harpswell (don't skip dessert!)—thanks for the recommendation, Dustin!
A couple of suggestions if you've never been to this part of Maine: bring Tevas or old sneakers to wear on the rocky coast. Your feet will thank you. Also throw a couple of camp chairs or beach chairs in the car too just in case. We found we needed them at Stover's Point because there's no sand to sit on.
We would definitely return to this lovely spot sometime in the future. Thank you, Dustin and Kate, for a memorable vacation—we truly needed it and appreciated every moment.

Great Stay in mid-July
Awesome time. Nothing fancy, perfect for a big family just looking to get to the water. We rented kayaks (SeaSpray) and they delivered them for $20. Launch directly from beach after getting them down the steps. Neat restaurants within 20 minute drive. Paddles across to Morse’s for lunch and Cedar Island.
Watch for tides, and have LOTS of fun. Definitely recommend a drive to Giant Stairs on Bailey Island.

On the water with premier views of Orr’s Island, Bailey Island, and the crib stone bridge.
I married the love of my life and wanted to stay at a place on the water where we could have unobstructed views of Orr’s Island, Bailey Island, and the crib stone bridge; which is where I am from.
We enjoyed every morning out on the deck with our coffee watching the sun rise over Orr’s Island and watching the fisherman haul and set traps. The deck was perfect for our evening receptions and provided plenty of space for us and our guests.
This property has many places to gather and look out at the water including the side yard with adirondack chairs. We enjoyed sitting there surrounded by hostas, tiger lillies, roses, and under a beautiful oak tree.
We utilized all of amenities at the house including the outside grill to cook up some steaks and burgers. The owner even got us a propane outdoor cooker so we could boil up some lobsters without stinking up the house.
The location of this house is absolutely perfect. A couple of our favorite places to eat are a short 2 miles away. The rocky beach at the property provided for our loading and unloading of a friend’s boat during our stay. Stover’s beach is a short walk away too.
There is plenty of room in the kitchen and I was very fortunate to have 2 chefs/ friends cook up a wonderful seafood dinner for us that included shrimp amd grits!
Our stay was absolutely amazing at this property and met every expectation.
