Our guest house is an old school, built in 1920 on the banks of the Doubs in Switzerland.
Located in the small hamlet of La Maison-Monsieur, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Doubs, it welcomes you in an absolutely unique environment, an extraordinary poetry.

150 square meters livable on 3 levels, luxuriously renovated and decorated, with an absolutely unique charm!
Capacity: 4 people + possibly 1 extra bed for a 5th person, voluntarily no more to be able to enjoy the space.

GROUND FLOOR :
The large hall, which used to welcome every morning no less than 30 students, welcomes you with its former school desk and library with books targeted on our region (walks, fauna and flora, the Doubs, the region and a selection of Neuchâtel art).
You will also find a cloakroom and a wardrobe, a washing machine and a toilet with a washbasin.
The old classroom has become a large living room of 50 square meters, with panoramic views of the river. 2 very large sofas allow you to relax, read, dream ... by the fire if the evenings are cool. Piano upright, desk and small table to work and / or draw in calm. Easel painting available.
STAGES:
After having climbed the granite staircase, you will find on the first floor the open, modern and fully equipped kitchen: vitro vitreous, extractor hood, forced-heat oven, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher as well as toaster and caquelon to molten.
At your disposal, organic food of choice, arranged in pretty glass jars: rice, cereals, lentils, various kinds of pasta, coffee, cocoa, a choice of twenty teas and herbal teas, chocolate , sugar etc. To discover: original spices from around the world and some local products selected for you: "Mortuacienne" lemonade, artisanal syrups, Franches-Montagnes honey, special jams, salted butter caramel from Biaufond ...
A welcome aperitif and a bottle of Neuchâtel red wine offered!
Dining room with extraordinary bird's-eye view of the river and ... the waterfalls of the opposite bank! Small reading room. Wood stove. Japanese tatami bed, which can be used as an extra bed. Corner office, internet access by secure wifi. Tablet docking station, all-purpose fixed telephone for Swiss communications, high-quality Bluetooth speaker.
"Libellule" bathroom with 2 basins, Philippe Starck taps, home made mosaic, numerous shelves and storage baskets, hair dryer and shower with glass doors. All the shower products and shampoos at your disposal are organic and of the highest quality. The towels, towels and bath towels are provided and included in the rental price.

The spiral art deco style takes you to your "nests" mezzanine, equipped with quality bedding: solid wood beds, mattresses and sommiers happy sheets and linen bed linen or organic cotton satin. A bedroom with king size bed (1m80 wide), another semi-detached with 2 twin beds that can form a large one. Storage cabinet with hangers, many shelves and storage baskets.
The sheets, pillowcases and pillows for the beds are first quality (linen or organic cotton) and are included in the rental price.
