1140 Summerwind Cottage has a wonderful beach style design. A spacious great room runs from the front to the back of the cottage and the elevation lets you enjoy the ocean breezes and the beautiful fairway views. This cottage has a large screened porch for swings and outdoor dining, a gas grill, an updated kitchen, hardwood floors, three flatscreen TVs, a Blu-Ray DVD player, and wireless internet so you can stay connected during your stay. An open-air outdoor shower is available (cold water only). It is within walking distance to all amenities, with fairway and wooded views.

This cottage includes a Seabrook Island amenity card with no additional fee! The fee is usually $50/day or $300 for the week, so this is a great added benefit of this property! The Amenity Card gives you access to the Beach Club (with two outdoor pools and a beach area), the restaurants, golf, tennis, the equestrian center, and the Lake House (with one outdoor pool, a fitness center, indoor pool). Some of these amenities do have their own fees associated with them as well: such as the restaurants, golf, tennis, the fitness center, and the indoor pool. When you book a reservation with us, we send you the information on how to obtain the Amenity Card, as it is obtained directly through Seabrook, not Beachwalker.

This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, internet, a DVD player, a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service, and a starter supply of paper products and detergents.

What a wonderful place and location! The amenities were top notch. We loved the Beach Club Resort, the food, the crabbing dock, the horseback riding! Enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets, rode bikes, boogie boarded. Tons of fun! Thank you for everything

The home was very clean when we arrived. There does appear to be an issue with ants in the kitchen which could scare some folks off (I saw where they had ant traps on the back of the backsplash) but the ants were pretty bad. The dryer sounds like it might be on its last leg and is abnoxiously loud so it may need to be serviced/replaced soon. Everythingelse was GREAT!!

We have been coming to the island for years and this is the second year we have stayed in this property. The location is great. The house is generally clean and functional. The outdoor spaces and skylights could use some cleaning (lots of cobwebs, wasp nests, etc) and the ceiling in the master bath is peeling, but overall it is fine for the price and space.

Seabrook is a lovely private island with plenty of family friendly activities like pickle ball, golf, tennis, pools, beach, etc. Our only issue was this was a last minute booking, many of the activities that we wanted to do were fully booked. Christmas week is a popular time to be in Seabrook Island. House was great for our family of five and short bike ride to the beach.

We greatly enjoyed our time here. I like the layout of the house as well as location. Easy walk to the beach if wanted, or literally 2 minutes by car. House was comfortable, clean and cozy. I would stay here again. If you are considering vacationing on Seabrook Island, this house should be on your list.

This cottage was nice but in a over crowed part of the community. Description says parking for 2 ….. we have a medium size suv And we could barely get out the door after parking under the unit. No other place to park as strict rules will not let you park on the grass or on the street. Other than that it was lovely on the inside.

House is in a neighborhood but is quiet and feels private. Living area looks out through wonderful screened porch into very shady woods and golf course beyond. Pool and beach are less than 5 minute drive or 10-15 minute brisk walk. Our family would happily stay in this unit again if/when we return to the Seabrook area!

We've stayed in this property twice now. It has a nice layout for multiple adults to stay together, is in a great location on the island for beach/pool access, & has a really wonderful screened-in porch. For some reason, everyone in our group had issues with many of the outlets in the house---whether plugging in hairdryers, phone chargers, or otherwise, the outlets were super loose and plugs would just fall out. This was the case in the bedrooms and elsewhere. The outlets in the bathroom between the twin bedrooms didn't work at all on our stay. The kitchen has limited supplies for a week's worth of cooking, so this year we brought additional pans & cutting boards. The lightbulbs outdoors in the carport and stairway needed replacing.

The location was great, loved the area. Will be back next year. We had an issue with the washer and dryer but we were informed before we arrived. It took 5 days to get one delivered. Heather and Charlene were sweet and very on top of things. The girls at the amenity office were were helpful. Loved the pool with the bar!

when we checked in the shower door in the main bathroom had fallen and chipped the tile. we called the property manager with no help. we called everyday with no support. that property needs major upgrades. customer service needs much support. I would not recomened this property to the property manager

We absolutely loved the villa and Seabrook Island. Beautiful, peaceful, lots to do for outdoor lovers. This was our first visit and didn't want to leave! Only issue with the villa was the washer and dryer didn't really work very well.

A super last minute trip to our favorite island. The Summerwind cottages are great for short stays due to their location on the island and proximity to beach access points. This cottage was clean & tidy, but could have used more cooking utensils, pot/pan covers, and at least a few hand towels in the kitchen.

First off, property management did a good job sending us information and keeping us informed. Upon arrival, the keys were exactly where they said they were and the lockbox code worked! The front door was covered in spiders and egg nests, we had to duck around them to get in. The entire stairway up to the door was also covered. Once inside the temps were good and the condo was.....there. Overall the place was okay but there were so many ‘attention to detail’ items that if I were the owner I would want to have fixed. From the shower door to the stovetop stains, the smell of the towels to the spiders and webs all over the back porch. The cushions had tons of stains, the comforters did as well. Thank you for the stay, we made the best of it, but we will not stay again.

Overall experience with the stay at the house in Seabrook Island was positive. When we arrived we found that the amenity cards were not available. Upon a phone call we found that they can be picked up next day 9 am at the office which we did. We reported few issues with this property to the phone number and they sent some one next day to fix the 4 lamps that were not working and the squeaking fan in the living room. All issue were promptly taken care off next day while were were enjoying the amenities outside. The house was well stocked and had all the things we needed and our stay was enjoyable. Seabrook island is unique with freely roaming deer. We were told there are crocks at the lake but we did not see them. Amenity card really helped so it is a plus to have that. Highly recommend 'Roadside Seafood' for fish especially for shrimp and grits. Kinfolk for fried chicken. Mcaains pub was good for Scotch Egg and Beef Stew. Edmonds Oast Brewery in Charleston was good. Try their boiled peanuts. Recommend going to Market Street for some great local shopping with walking distance to Mason for lobster sandwich and Kaminkys for killer dessert and martini.

Very helpful staff and a beautiful home. Not too far from the beach but far enough that there weren’t any party types nearby. Great movie selection in the home and board games! Plenty of towels. Amazing shower and they included little shampoos and conditioners. Felt very safe there. Very calm and peaceful. Also, so easy to get online and still stay connected if necessary. Overall, lovely property. Can’t wait to use this service again.

This cottage is very clean and comfortable. The property manger was friendly and very responsive to all inquiries. The kitchen is fairly well equipped (lids for pots/pans???), the beds are comfortable, and plenty of towels were provided. My one suggestion would be better window coverings/blinds. We had a hard time sleeping past 6 am because it got so light in the house. Otherwise, we had a great trip—would definitely return.

We so enjoyed our visit to Seabrook Island. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was wonderful! It was furnished nicely and it felt like you were in a treehouse. The furnishings were nice and the beds were comfortable. Vacasa was very thorough in their instructions and were a pleasure to talk to.
