Absolut empfehlenswert für einen City stay in Cartagena

Wunderschönes altes Gebäude, liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Super Lage, mitten in der Altstadt und dennoch ruhig. Hilfreiches und freundliches Personal

Zimmer 201 und 210 sind am Treppenhaus und daher nicht ganz so ruhig. Fenster zum Innenhof und somit nicht so hell. Hat uns aber nicht sehr gestört. Das Frühstück war das schlechteste unsere Reise, aber man kann gut außerhalb Frühstücken

Great looking property in old town

This is an interesting review in that upon arrival, we were told there was a problem with our room. The AC was broken so we could NOT stay at the hotel. The staff was very apologetic and offered us a room in their sister hotel Casa Don Luis. They escorted us to the new hotel which was probably nicer than the La Factoria. The staff at Don Luis were great - it's a beautiful property. A couple days later, we went back to La Factoria just to check it out, and it's a really striking hotel. It all worked out in the end.

Would have liked to stay there since the pool/grotto area is so awesome looking!

Atendimento impecável

Quando nós chegamos para o check-in fomos informados que houve um problema no nosso quarto e com isso nos moveram para o hotel Casa Don Luís da mesma rede e a poucos passos do Casa La Factoría. Nos deram um upgrade de quarto e pudemos usar as facilidades dos 2 hoteis que são ótimos. Atendimento impecável e muita atenção aos hóspedes! A localização também é excelente, bem no meio da cidade amuralhada.

Ideal para cuando deses quedarte en la Ciudad Amurallada

Todo el personal sumamente atento y cordial. La ubicacion es genial y el desayuno muy muy rico.

Necesita un ascensor. Nosotros tuvimos la suerte de estar en el primer piso, pero otros del grupo tuvieron que subir bastantes escaleras y pasillos. Diria que lo peor del hotel son los baños. Todos con vidrios, Tanto la ducha como el inodoro, y cuando prendias la luz no habia la mas minima intimidad... Me dijeron que estan trabajando eso, espero que asi sea.

Lugar hermoso excelente decoración para adultos

La ubicación excelente

Las escaleras incomunicadas para adultos. A mi amigo se le perdió la tarjeta del cuarto y le dijeron que se la cobrarían. Donde en todos los hoteles del mundo mínimo te dan 2 tarjetas. Aquí solo 1. Y la limpieza en los cuartos de demora, regresamos a las 3 pm y no estaba limpio

Luces y sombras

Ubicación excelente, personal muy amable, tuvimos un problema con la ducha de la habitación y lo gestionaron rápidamente. Las zonas comunes de la entrada y recepción son bonitas. Desayuno típico colombiano muy completo.

La habitación era excesivamente pequeña (y eso que cogimos una de las que tenía el baño separado físicamente de la habitación (aunque no había puerta para separarlos con lo cual se escucha absolutamente todo lo que hagas en el baño, restando bastante privacidad para las intimidades de uno). Además, comentar que la habitación resultaba muy húmeda lo que era incomodo a l hora de dormir (quizás porque estábamos en la planta baja cerca de la piscina). Nula ventilación, había una ventana que daba a la zona común de la piscina que es un patio y por ello no entra nada de luz natural. Además muy mala insonorización, se escuchaba todo ruido proveniente de las zonas comunes del hotel.

Not recommended

Only two guys were responsive to requests.

Staff are not trained for service, housekeeping is minimal and barley cleans, no change of toiletries,food is stale and felt sick afterwards, worst laundry facility with clothes returned damped. Location felt unsafe at night. Not recommended.

Staff amazing Great location breakfast was nice

Owners, their children and dog we’re around but they never engaged guest. If your going to be around the property and your dog is going to jump on us while we are eating at least say hello and ask how our visit is.

History and location. Nikkei restaurant.

I asked for 3 rooms with king size beds. I got only one room with king size bed. the 2 others were smaller rooms with queen size beds1!!! Very dissappointing.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot of Cartagena

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Staff were extremely helpful and kind.

We had struggles to get hot showers. I think they managed to fix it in the end but wasn’t pleasant having cold showers.

Fantastic boutique hotel!

Everything was wonderful. The photos do not do it justice. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was attentive (especially Brenda and Jefferson) and the beds were very comfortable. The location was fantastic! The hotel restaurant and cocktails were great! I’m surprised it’s not a 4 star boutique hotel!

Great stay in Boutique style hotel!

Loved the overall boutique feel. The location was superb. Walking distance to plenty of sights and restaurants. Complementary breakfast was the best I have had and any stay. The staff was friendly and gave great suggestions would recommend to anybody looking.

Excellent location and comfortable stay

Beautiful building, we enjoyed the pool, massages and jacuzzi facilities. Lovely plentiful breakfast provided. Location excellent, beds very comfortable.

The bedrooms are very dark. Would have liked a waste paper basket. Also found the ‘in-room’ toilet and shower is very intimate for sharing guests! We ended up not being able to pay for a massage on checkout due to a lack of paper record, which left us the headache of having to sort the payment out after departure. Staff were attentive but could have been more on the ball.

Beautiful hotel with a nice pool and rooftop area. Great breakfast and good access to the city.

The room was small and quite dark (no natural light at all). And the toilet was with transparent walls, so not a lot of privacy.

Gorgeous and close to everything!

This was truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The pool was incredible and I could’ve spent hours just sitting by it. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Both breakfast and the on-site bar/restaurant were wonderful. Highly highly recommend!

the property was amazing . The breakfast , the bar , the room , the pool and rooftop was a pleasure . I enjoyed my stay and I had a great time .

Problematic AC, excellent breakfast. Would not return.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.

Everything was wonderful EXCEPT that our AC turned off at night and we were unable to turn it back on. Our room was on the 4th floor and we didn’t have a window to open (just a balcony door with no screen). We rang staff in the middl of the night to help but they had no control over the AC either so we had a sweaty honeymoon. I would not stay here again - whoever owns/manages this hotel should stop pinching pennies with the AC.

A charming, historic, boutique hotel that is centrally located in the heart of old town.

The location was great - very central to everything in the City Center and we could walk everywhere. We felt very safe, even at night. The staff was very attentive and the Bell Staff were especially helpful and friendly. The breakfast was "ok" but not great. However it was convenient as most restaurants didn't open for breakfast until 9am in the city. Our room was small but the air conditioning worked well and it was very clean. It was on the 4th floor and there is no elevator so that was a workout every day :) Overall a charming boutique hotel.

The breakfast could have had more selection and the fact that there is no elevator is something to consider but makes sense in this historic location.

A lovely place in a good location with staff dedicated to give guests a good experience.

great job of adapting a colonial building into Avery aesthetic property . the staff let us visit a sister property at the beach , called ahead to make the arrangements . they loaned us towels and even gave us a welcome drink !

the original room we had was tiny and claustrophobic . we paid extra to upgrade . the breakfast had a stupid system .it looked like a buffet but they served the guests. as a result we got items we didn’t want, making for waste.
