Fresh, clean, beautiful and spacious !
Francesco was exceptionally friendly, funny and helpful - especially coming to get us when we got lost on the way! Breakfast was amazing and the non-gluten amongst us was very well catered for.
There is nothing not to like.

The property lived up to its advertised charm in every detail - exuding beauty, tranquillity, and a serene ambience. Nestled atop the valley, it bestowed breathtaking vistas that were nothing short of enchanting. The terrace, a veritable haven, provided an idyllic setting to unwind in the evenings. On numerous occasions, we found ourselves dozing off there, basking in the soothing caress of the warm breeze and the serenity that enveloped us - a sublime conclusion to our eventful days of exploration. The bedroom, too, proved to be generously spacious and remarkably cozy.
Among the highlights of our stay, I must draw attention to two individuals who truly elevated our experience. The first is Casper (if memory serves me right), a staff member involved in the culinary operations of both the kitchen and the adjacent restaurant. His warmth and assistance were truly outstanding. The restaurant itself was a culinary delight, offering delectable dishes that were made even more enjoyable by the impeccable service - a crucial factor that contributed to transforming our meals into truly remarkable experiences.
The second person deserving of profound appreciation is Lucia, a receptionist par excellence. Her infectious smile, gracious attitude, and unwavering helpfulness significantly enriched our stay, leaving an indelible mark on our memory. I must particularly acknowledge her thoughtfulness in providing an umbrella, an offering that proved to be a game-changer for me, shielding me from the harsh sun and demonstrating the level of care and attention to detail that sets this establishment apart.
I am going to mention a few things here which are not criticisms but suggestions that can help improve the experience at the hotel. I am also noting these so that guests can take notes while making plans.
Please note that I was well aware of most of these points prior to the booking and hence cannot say that I was totally unaware of these :
1. The Wi-Fi is so poor that the Wi-Fi setting itself kept getting turned off on the phone. That was painful because as tourists everyone likes to share Instagram stories and posts of their travel days and also call back home. Hence this was quite inconvenient.
2. The connectivity is a little tricky - firstly the property is best reachable from Naples airport by taxi as other modes are very tough with luggage and in the heat. Hence account for an extra 250 euros for going and coming. Additionally, the journey into Amalfi is very dependent upon the bus schedule which has very specific and sporadic timings. We once missed the 1020 bus and had to waste the whole of our first half of the day since the next one was only at 1220. The steps into Amalfi are possible and can be done(we did it once) but they are very arduous in the heat.
3. The breakfast is the minimum viable option for what constitutes a breakfast: there is a very limited selection of bread, croissants, some fruit and one juice apart from some cheese slices and perhaps bacon( I don't eat bacon so cannot be sure). There is no toaster, no eggs, no cut fruits and this is not good enough. The breakfast really needs more love.
All in all, this is a wonderful property that is beautiful for relaxation but at nearly 500 AUD a night, I do not think it was value for money.

The Hotel is Beautiful ❤️ , the staff very helpful and Friendly , the hotel is very clean , in a quiet area , a beautiful small village In top of Amalfi
The little Plus is : for the courageous one , there is a stairs going down from the Hotel to Amalfi .
It s a little bit difficult with the public transport , there is a bus from Amalfi to Pontine......but nothing to do with the Hotel .

Breakfast was very poor. Cheese was not refreshed each day. Bread rolls were not always fresh. Only provided packaged cereal, bread rolls, sliced cheese and ham. Bowl of fruit on counter. Room was not cleaned the first two days and the manager repeatedly told me they only changed the sheets every second day ignoring the fact that the bin had not been emptied. Some towels were not replaced and one that was was soiled and I made the bed myself.
Attitude of the manager and the quality of his job. Breakfast should have had more choices with the price we were paying for the room.

The location was quiet (away from the crowds) and the view from our balcony was magnificent. Our room was spacious , very clean, and all the floors were beautifully tiled. The staff was friendly, helpful, & very professional. An affordable & great location to go explore the Amalfi Coast.
Breakfast quality & selections each morning were average at best. Otherwise this is an A+ resort!!

The room was great with a beautiful view. It was comfortable and did not lack anything. The staff were super friendly!
The internet was very weak. Beware if you plan to work from the hotel room.
3.5
We loved the spacious rooms, the amazing sea view and the calmness away from the busy touristic areas.
The breakfast is quite poor. It needs more variety, e.g. egg dishes and maybe some more local products
To make it more attractive.

The accomodation was wonderful. Modern, bright and comfortable. Room/apartment was much larger than expected. Staff were helpful and engaging. Francesco was really welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. Lovely to be in a quieter area with easy access to Amalfi and Ravello.
The room we were staying in would benefit from a curtain to pull across the door as the external lights were located directly outside. This did not affect our stay and we would still book again if staying in the area.

lockation, breackfast, cleanliness, Hotel and room design, room size and equipment
there was a problem with outside night illumination, which was impossible to switch off and no curtains for semi transparent doors in my room

The owner of the accomodation was more than nice 🙂 very keen to help us with everything. The room was super spacious, and the balcony a good addition for a meal out. The breakfast view was breathtaking. The jacuzzi was also really nice after a day out.
The internet was really unstable, but it seems it was not the property's fault.

Quiet, private, clean. Exactly where you want to stay to get away from the droves of tourists
slightly difficult to get to

The view from the room is magnificent. I also liked that it was across the valley from the super-busy and much higher-priced Ravello - but at the same time was only a 25min walk away.
Parking close by is a bit of a pain, but Lina was very helpful in getting this sorted out for me.
4.5
The room was super spacious and there was a tiny kitchen. Everything looked brand new and modern.
Hotel staff was friendly and the view from the terrace where you can have breakfast is great.
There is a restaurant just next to the hotel that provides great food and also offers a great view.
No real disappointments to be fair. This is one of the few accommodations where we had to pay extra for parking. However, after talking to the hotel staff it's very difficult to find parking spots in the area and even residents have to pay. The parking provided by the hotel was secure and big.
4.5
Everything was perfect, the staff, the room, quiet place. Very good for families especially if you need one night to stay to the area and don't go to amalfi, there are 2-3 restaurants near and a small plazza for kids.
Poor breakfast. needs some improvement in variety.

The view was breathtaking, far away from the overcrowded Amalfi coast. Everything was totally clean, big rooms, Breakfast was great. Wish we had time to stay one night more! If we come back to the Amalfi coast we would definitely book this apartment again!

Hotel is totally renewed, big and very comfortable room, awesome view, quiet and extremely clean!
Bad breakfast. Little variety. Items that ended up weren't replaced. Jacuzzi was in maintenance. Very hard to park the car and to reach the hotel from the parking you will need to walk 500m of stairs. Very hard access.

We planned a romantic vacation to celebrate my birthday, close to amalfi coast, but things didnt turn out our way, as my wife fell very sick enroute. In very troubling times we feel Lina, our host at Plazzo Giovani was God sent. She took care of us like we were family. Arranged cabs, ambulance, became our translator with the medical staff. And the next day was up serving amazing lemon cake for my birthday. We were to strangers up on a mountain, if it wasn't for Lina we would be very lost and very much alone.
The hotel is beautiful, rooms are biggest I've seen on the coast. Views were to die for. I highly recommend it for a resort style stay up on mountains.
All was great!
