Friends Short Break

Perfectly located for shops, eateries and public transport. Great standard of furnishings and kitchen equipment.

Very Dissappointed and overrated.

House was spacious, beautiful furnitures in all rooms and free Internet access.

The house is very old, big and spacious, most of the door handles weren't secured properly. Bathrooms were not cleaned properly, there was dirt visible in some corners and the toilet upstairs had urine inside before it was even used. The fridge wasn't cleaned properly and the rest of the kitchen appliances was dusty. The amount they charged us for 7 nights was significant, I would have thought that the cleanliness would have been of high standards based on the advertisements and previous reviews. Most of our guest spent their time cleaning all surfaces and bathrooms prior to settling in. There was no spare towels available only the ones given to us on the first day, i had found out that the towels were locked away and we didn't have access to the key. Access to bins was somehow complicated. Definitely not worth the money. To our unpleasant surprise when we checked out, we were accused of damaging a property. I felt that this was a sabotage/scam, as this wasn't recognised at all during our stay. We were threatened to go to court if we didn't pay a fine of £500. After paying a significant amount of money for our duration, I would think this would have been included in the price, little did I know I was being prepared for such unpleasantries, never will I stay at this accommodation again.

The apartment was large there were 6 adults plenty room for all of us. Was warm was quiet had ever thing you needed. Location was great

Exceptional

Fabulous Apartment in excellent location. Very quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious, fantastic for our family get together. Central within Broughty Ferry and just a short walk to railway station for access to Dundee and further afield. Information provided was very helpful and response to any questions to Garry speedy. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we hope to return sometime soon.

Really lovely apartment in exactly the right location. Easy to access and spotlessly clean.

While there are plenty of rooms, the two main rooms only have double beds. As a tall couple we chose to sleep in separate rooms because of that - it wouldn’t have been a comfortable sleep otherwise. Also, and it is a small niggle, the cleaners walked in on us at 9.30. while that wasn’t a huge issue as we were preparing to leave, it did mean we felt rushed out of the apartment as we knew they were waiting downstairs for us to leave.

We had a lovely 3 generation long weekend in Broughty Ferry. Ideal house for us all.

Very central location in the town and easy to get to by car. Very clean and well equipped with excellent TV and wifi. Kitchen facilities were excellent - and in good condition. Nice big fridge/freezer. House was lovely and warm on a cold and wet visit - thank you for the umbrellas!

No real complaints.

Excellent property in prime location

Great size, good facilities and excellent location. Nicely decorated with all home comforts. Easy access with door entry.

Upstairs rooms cold & could have done with heavier duvets and over blankets as cold in bed too. Perhaps draught excluders at windows as cold air comes through even with curtains closed to help with draught. It was mid winter when we stayed.

Amazing apartment

Had a lovely 3 night stay in this gorgeous apartment. Tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. Very spacious with a lovely lounge with large TV with cable a large kitchen with a table, two bedrooms and bathroom and two further bedrooms and a further bedroom on the upper level. The apartment has on street parking and is minutes to the centre. Some lovely shops, restaurants and a great beach. Highly recommend this apartment and Broughtyferry

Perfect family break

Stunning apartment, it's so big with some original features. Has everything you need for a family or a large group, plenty of utensils in the kitchen etc. Nice lovely shower. We all commented on how amazing and soft the bedding was (even Googled the brand to buy some) everything smelt of fresh laundry. The 3 large couches were great for chilling at night and chatting / playing games. The code for the door is perfect for a group, rather than passing keys around if you end up doing your own thing. Few minutes walk to the town centre, we also went to Arbroath and Dundee for the day. Such a great price as well, would definitely recommend and return. Thank you.

The light in the stairwell didn't come on, just seen the owner responded to a previous comment, would have been resolved if I had got in contact with the owner, so my own fault really, but didn't bother us.

Only negative is there could be more lighting up the 2 steep flights of stairs up to the apartment

Amazing flat for a holiday with family or friends, with plenty of shops and sights close by

Lovely furnishing. Pretty much all the facilities required. The living room was the perfect social space for everyone.

Just little things really. A tv in each bedroom would have been nice and the convection cooker sometimes was a little hard to use.

Lovely town, great modern, well equipped and clean apartment in a fabulous location

The apartment was very central and lovely views. Bonus of having ready made ice in the freezer for our G&T

The stairs would be a problem if we had elderly family members but no problem for us
