On a golf course, very convenient for Mt Hood and local restaurants. Spacious and comfortable.

We stayed for the better part of a week and had a great, comfortable time. The only downside was the lack of A/C in the high heat. The plentiful fans helped immensely. We loved spending time at the pool at the end of the day after returning from our hiking and kayaking adventures. Its close proximity to Mt. Hood, Trillium Lake, etc made it a perfect home base.

We loved the cabin; It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

The entire neighborhood lost power while we were there. So without heat, lights or some way to cook, we chose to leave early. Dotty checked in on us and offered extra firewood but there really wasn’t anything else she could have done. We would stay here again if we were planning a getaway for some skiing since the location was great. I can’t give much more information about the place since we didn’t even have lights to look around much 😊.

Is a wonderful spot to relax or to have fun in the mountains. Unit is comfortable and meets everyone's need. Owner is very easy to work with.

The accommodations were nice and the area is quiet.
The only draw back to the stay was the fact that there is no A/C in the unit. They did provide plenty of fans for each room which helped a lot but it was much hotter than normal in the area outside temp read 114 degrees and it was about 90 degrees inside when we got back from our hikes.
I would stay there again.

We had a very nice time on our mini getaway. This is an older unit but it was very clean and the appliances are updated, the finishes are just out of date but no big deal. The kitchen is stocked with all of the pots, pans, gadgets and utensils we needed to cook with. Welches was a good base for going to the lakes and hikes that we planned on. The only negative was that since this is a pet friendly unit it does smell a little like a dog had been there recently. It was very quiet. It was nice to be able to sit out on the little patio and watch golfers during the day and at night we would go out and star gaze.

This condo was lovely, clean and comfortable, and in a great location for our girls trip. The 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms were so appreciated and supplied with the essentials The kitchen was nicely stocked with necessary items. The area was lovely, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the pool…. Maybe next time… ;-). Thank you~

The Whispering Woods are a fantastic getaway place to experience Mount Hood and its wondeful environment. Dotty made us feel at home as guests at her place and the accommodation is more than fully packed and equipped to make a dream stay come true. We would recommend this stay to anyone!

Parking and check-in was easy. The place was fairly clean, but older. The carpets would really benefit from a good cleaning, but everything else was clean. We were so close to Mt Hood Adventure Park, some great hikes, and wonderful food options. We loved using the pool too.

Our family found this place very comfortable and in a beautiful setting. The pool and hot tub at the clubhouse were great and easy to access. I would stay there again, but next time I'd probably stop for less expensive groceries closer to Portland. Thank you for hosting us!

Our family of four really enjoyed our time at Whispering Woods. This unit was clean and well-appointed. We had fun skiing, playing at the playground and basketball hoop and swimming. Such a great spot for a family getaway. Thank you!

We had a great time staying at 454 . My son and his wife stayed upstairs and I stayed in the lower bedroom. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen.

Condo met all our needs for staying comfortable, relaxation & fun for my family and myself. The owner has exemplary communication skills and easy to work with. Between location, nice condo and the owner, this is a favorite VRBO for me to keep coming back to. We had a wonderful time.

We loved our quick get away to Whispering Woods! The condo met our needs and was well equipped. We loved hanging out on the patio and in the pool. Only tiny issue was the kitchen light was difficult to turn off.

Dotty's prepoerty was clean and easy to find. The directions were clear and the property was well taken care of. Great for a golf trip at the 9's. Close to bars restaurants and a grocery store.

We had a wonderful time vacationing with our grandchildren. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals without having to go out. The setting was absolutely beautiful with numerous trails and hikes to enjoy during the day and the pool was a great way to cool off in the late afternoon. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

Perfect place for a few friends to stay and enjoy Mt Hood, and Welches golfing. Good food nearby, trail down to the river and condo has a pool that we enjoyed. Clean and comfortable beds, a few coffee pods were provided for morning coffee on the back patio over looking the golf course!

Wonderful trip to Welches, Oregon
Great location for visiting the Hood Valley. Almost anything you might want to enjoy on your trip is within one hour driving time. Many great local restaurants and places to visit are minutes away.
Dotty was extremely responsive to questions. I’d highly recommend the condo at Whispering Woods for your Mt. Hood vacation.

Amazing Place!
My friends and I were visiting for a wedding. Dottys place ended up being right across the street from the wedding venue so it worked out perfectly! We had enough space for all of us! It was clean and well stocked with the basics!

I would suggest having more kitchen towels--we only found one.

Very nice condo with a very nice updated kitchen appliances! As this was more of a work than play it was very quiet place to come back to in the evening. Comfortable living room and wifi was probably the best I have had in all the condos I have stayed at since I sometimes need to work from home. Would come again!
