Casa molto accogliente e spaziosa con una bellissima vista. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. La titolare super cordiale e disponibile.

Caffe in polvere. Meglio dotarsi di una moka o di una macchinetta del caffè.

Estancia excelente, muy recomendable.

Todo. Casa preciosa, en un lugar tranquilo, con vistas al mar. Impecable en limpieza. Detalle de cesta de bienvenida con queso de la isla, leche, zumo, café y pan diario recién horneado que deja la anfitriona.

Únicamente se concentra un poco de humedad , sobre todo en el baño, hay que tener precaución y poner el deshumificador para que no huela a humedad.

Perfect place to explore Terceira!!

Beautifully kept property just outside Angra. Paula and Luís go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay! They welcome you with a basket of milk, local cheese, juice, butter and provide fresh bread every morning. You can also use a jacuzzi in the garden to relax after a day of hiking and enjoy the amazing views! To top it off you can go with Luís in the morning to feed the calves at his farm where he shares all the hard work he does and his passion for his hobby. We cannot wait to come back!

Unmaintained accommodation kept by people who mistreat animals

Bread in the morning. That's all

We saw nobody. The common room and the kitchen were dirty and not cleaned for the 2 days we were there. The owners were gone and left their dog outside, in the middle of his droppings and in full view of the guests. The so-called jacuzzi was dirty and leaking...

Excellent stay, we recommand it!

The welcoming was very good and the contact person was very nice. The place is located a few minutes drive from very good seafood restaurants. Also they get the bread right from the bakery next door that sells excellent croissants!

As it is very humid in summer, we could have wished for a bigger fan (but it’s not a bas remark 😌).

Good location, friendly hosts, clean apartman

Good location, friendly hosts and beautiful panorama. We got fresh bread on every day and was welcome box as well. The apartman was very clean. The wifi was good and fast. There is a jacuzzi as well. I recommend the farm experience which is an unforgettable, great experience.

There was no explanations about the use of the jacuzzi: the temperature didn't go more than 28C, so it is not usable in the winter months.

modern style owner very friendly jacuzzi easy communication by WhatsApp

bed too hard a bit noisy cause the bedrooms doors are directly on the sharing kitchen/living for information : no animal by the property, they are in a farm few minutes driving distance to the house (free visit with owner which is nice)

Highly Recommend

Luís and Paula were amazing hosts. Even though it's stated on booking that there isn't any breakfast, they were still nice enough to put fresh bread and some supplements in a basket every morning. They also gave us a lot of recommendations for things to do, restaurants and overall tips for the island. If you have the opportunity to do the cow experience we HIGHLY recommend it. 10/10 would go back!

It's a bit far from the centre. But luckily we had a car so for us it wasn't really a problem.

Wonderful place owned by very nice people

Hosts are super friendly! The activity with the calfs is a great experience, Luis passion lights up when talking about all the things he does/wants to do. The place is great, good location and beautiful views!

My girlfriend and I had wonderful stay here. The room has a beautiful view to the ocean and the jacuzzi was great to relax. The warm bread in the morning and the calf feeding activity made it even better.

The jacuzzi water could've been cleaner. The bathroom shower could improve with a door/cover, to prevent water from flooding the bathroom.

Amazing stay in the terceirenese country side!

Highly recommend! Fabulous stay with a lovely view of the sea. Luís was very helpul in arranging local activities for us to take part in. We also got a chance to feed the young calves. Luís was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions patiently. The garden is very tranquil, and a great place to relax in or have an outdoor meal, and look at the idyllic village around. We also availed of the hot tub in the garden. As a bonus Luna would visit every day to say hi!

Excellent accomodation, with amazing and kind hosts, couldn't recommend more. The views are incredible, the shared kitchen has everything you'll need and feeding the cows was super cool. Room was very large and spacious and impeccably clean. Parking just outside the house.

Amazing Host!

Maria and Luis are fantastic hosts! They leave you on your own but never hesitate to help out and are very lovely! In the morning we had fresh bread, cheese, apple juice and milk (all local products) for free! Obrigado for everything!!!

perfect location and quiet place to relax while exploring the island

what an incredible place, the house is very beautifully decorated and made very comfortable! we enjoyed the fact that we could use the kitchen to cook our meals and the amazing garden for the morning yoga practice and the evening chilling jacuzzi :) it was so so nice of Paula and Luis to bring us fresh bread in the mornings and some local cheese!! these guys were very welcoming and our experience here was very relaxing and we would definitely recommend it! the location is perfect to explore the whole island!

It was a very pleasant stay, the hosts were very accommodating and we really enjoyed the time.

They brought us fresh bread and cheese for breakfast. The place was decorated with lots of love and care.

The light in the bathroom made a weird buzzing noise when switched on.

Wonderful accommodation

We were so impressed with our experience at this gem of welcoming, comfortable, safe and clean accommodation. Close enough to amenities and the major centre while nestled close enough to the peace and quiet of the country side. You can walk to the supermarket in 10 minutes. You can walk south to the fishing port in 15 minutes or you can stay put and enjoy the beautiful southern facing, sun bathing experience. The owners, Luis and Paula made our visit memorable and we felt completely at home. That is remarkable. There is so much to say about this visit to Terceira, but it goes without saying that it was especially because of the comforts and peace of mind that came with staying here at Basalto Negro in particular. Thank you so much for looking after all of our needs. We hope to see you again on our next visit and to recommend you highly to our family and friends. There is a beautiful genuine family friendly atmosphere with immediate connection and trust. Thank you Luis and Paula. Best regards and best wishes.

Superb

The place has 3 rooms with a shared kitchen, living room, garden and jacuzzi. You need a car , the city and all attractions in the island are relatively close, super is 2 minutes by car

1. When we arrived the room was unventilated, we left the window open and in the next day it was much better. 2. The doors' handles and lockers are making noise.
