Such an amazing place to spend our 23rd wedding anniversary. Lovely huge room with large bathroom and his and hers basin and huge walk in shower. Amazing view across the front lawn and we were right in the centre of the main Chateau building. Great welcome from Yves and greets info on where to eat out in Amboise. Really good continental style breakfast with cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, and jams and honey and tea and coffee. French bread and croissants and for us they got gluten free bread and decaf coffee ( Thanks so much!) Nice longe area with own table football / "Baby foot" Nice chill out area in back garden with Gazebo and loungers. Use of fridge and small freezer compartment to refreeze chiller packs. Lovely circular walk up in the woods and around the village, and very dog friendly owners. Look out fo the red squirrels. Just Quick drive into Ambroise and all the site and wine tastings !!
We liked everything !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully restored chateau. The owner was an excellent host and we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious! Mr Yves was kind to advise and help us when we encountered some car issues. We hope to visit this beautiful place again some day. Highly recommended!

This B&B is located in an 17th century chateau and has been newly made only a few years ago. The atmosphere, comfort and friendliness of the hosts have been remarkable and were the best in our entire trip

Hospitality! You immediately feel at home. The hosts welcome you very friendly. Breakfast is great with fresh fruit and croissants. Large rooms with very clean bathroom. For information about local restaurants and activities, the hosts will give you good personal advice. A place to come back to!!

The place is beautiful and the hosts are very nice people.
Cleaning was done everyday, towels were changed and water bottles complimentary offered. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Very well situated close to beautiful Amboise and local vineyards.
I would probably choose it again.
The front gate should have an automated closing system as the gates are heavy and hard to manage each time in and out.
The breakfast could be more variated: e.g. add some cheese or olives besides the croissants and jam (all the breakfast is very sweet and I would prefer it more salty)- but overall we were happy with the products.
We missed a corner of shade: the yard is lovely but there’s nothing established outside to be able to sit & relax enjoying the beautiful property.
The coffee can be improved: a simple coffee maker would do.
The shower has some stairs which we found particularly weird given the slippery floor-had to be over cautious especially for the child.
A fridge in the room would be very useful. There is one available for all the guests in the common area, but it’s quite small. Not a big deal.

The friendliness of the owner and his partner from the moment we arrived
Not the property’s problem but Google maps made it very very difficult to find.

The rooms were big and immaculate . The Chateau is only 15 minutes drive to the town of Amboise where you can find very nice restaurants and shops .Chateau Chenonceau is just a short 20 minutes drive and Chambord is an hours drive.
I love the ambiance of the property and waking up to the sound of singing birds is priceless .We enjoyed the freshly baked croissants from a nearby bakery and jams .
Yves ,the owner, is very kind and accommodating with interesting stories to tell about the history of the chateau . He made us feel at home . Thank you for a wonderful stay. 🌷

Monseuir Yves was a Gracious and cordial host. My Family and I enjoyed his hospitality for sharing his Grand estate, it was truly impressive and a testament to his labor of love. The breakfast was also a fresh a delightful way to start the day. I look forward to spending more time at the Chateau on our next visit to the Loire Valley.
I didn't stay long enough to get a chance to explore the surrounding area.

Exceptional breakfast. The croissant and pain au chocolate were very good! We also enjoyed walking in the chateau's woods and even saw small deer. It was a peaceful and comfortable place and very accessible to the castles in the area. The owner was helped us by pointing out good places to good for dinner.

It was everything perfect. It is a beautiful castle, rooms clean, bed very comfortables, delicious breakfast and very good located. Worth to repeat and visit more castles in the surrondings.
The owner very friendly and charmy man.
I will give a 9,5! (minus 0,5 for the orange juicce ;) )
We had a good time there. We will surely repeat.
Nothing. Perhaps if the orange juice were handmade. But mostly all the Breakfast was good enought.

We loved to stay at Château de Saint Ouen les Vignes! The property is beautiful, in a very quiet location. The room is big, confortable and everything was clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The hosts were really nice and gave us good tips to visit wineries and other spots in the region. Wish we could have stayed longer :) Would definitely come back.
It's been a cold spring holiday so it was a bit cold inside the chateau that takes some time to get warm after the heater is turned on. But it was no big deal to us.

Very quiet and peaceful, particularly during the COVID19 time. We felt safe as there were only 2 other guests during our stay and the owners arranged the breakfast to be at a good distance. Room was enormous, bathroom modern and breakfast was good. Parking in front of the entrance was a bonus. Good value for money and we can strongly recommend the Château for a sleep over or to visit Amboise and the Loire area with its many beautiful villages and castles.

Impressive historical building with a wonderful front court and access to a private woodland. The court is dominated by an old impressive sequoia tree.
The property is so quiet that several deer approached the building.
Furthermore a simple but excellent quality breakfast with warm croissants was served every morning.

The landlord was extremely welcoming and gentleman. Moreover, the castle has been neatly renovated without harming its history. I can only recommand to make it part of your next trip!
