Absolutely loved our trip!! This was our first trip to Maine and we weren't disappointed! Starting with this lovely house with spectacular views from both inside and outside!! It was great relaxing on the deck watching the seals, eagles, porpoises, and whales everyday!! Along with watching the ferry run between Deer Island and Campbello Island daily. We had a great time exploring Eastport and the surrounding area! The house is well furnished and felt like home! The ping pong table was a great addition that was also enjoyed daily! We will definitely be back!!!!

Can’t say enough positive things about this home and location- while this is probably not the best spot for those who want nightlife or fine dining, if you love nature, peace & quiet and LOTS of steamed lobster- this is your spot! Deb was a pleasure to work with & an incredibly helpful host! House is well-equipped, beds are super comfortable, and the view is an absolute show-stopper! A+!

THE HOUSE WAS GREAT AND THE VIEW WAS SO RELAXING FROM THE DECK, LISTENING TO THE OCEAN. I WISH THE WEATHER WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER , DUE TO ALL THE RAIN WE WERE NOT ABLE TO DO TO MAJOR ACTIVIES THAT WE REALLY WANTED TO DO. HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL

We had never been to Maine before and staying in Eastport was the perfect experience.
Deb was ever so helpful in suggestions on things-to-do that would accommodate my 83-year-old mother.
The house was lovely, everything we needed was there.
IGA was very well stocked.
Townsfolks are super friendly and happy to tell you about local history and places to visit.
Things I recommend are:
-go to Dastardly Dick's for coffee. Great way to meet and chat with locals.
-WaCo Diner has great food and friendly service
-Walk to downdown and enjoy the shops, you really do not have to drive around there much.
-Visit Fisherman's Wharf in Lubec, if you go out to see the West Quaddy Lighthouse. Great lunch
-In Canada, the Kingsbrae Gardens are perfect for a date night or anniversary luncheon or dinner.
we will be back again

This property is amazing. The description was even more than described. Well stocked, clean, easy access. Very relaxing to watch the water and all the activities seals, dolphins, eagles and gulls, ships, ferries. Eastport the city is a slow paced environment in October. If you are looking for relaxation and to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the spot for you. Hiking opportunities and great spot to collect sea glass in the area. Enjoyed our vacation.

What a perfect spot! Loved Eastport & your home. The views from inside & out were amazing — over to Canada and nearby watching all the shore birds, porpoises, & whales near the rocks. Loved tracking the Deer Island Ferry going back & forth by different routes depending on the tides. The sunrise & sunset colors were lovely. We did all of your “Favorite Things To Do” and more. We had a great time! Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home. You have the best travel information of any place we’ve ever rented! So helpful. Thanks again.

Where to begin. Gorgeous house, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need in this special place. Your own nature excursion from the deck. We had daily sightings of whales, eagles and seals, all in a comfortable chair with a cup of coffee in your hand. Lots of information on local attractions and the best time to go. The views….300 degree panoramic view of the Canadian Maritime. Best girls week ever! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked with everything you would need. The view was spectacular. Deb was wonderful to work with. They had so many recommendations, maps, directions, and restaurant information, you never had to ask anything about the area. I would stay here again anytime! Absolutely the best week I have had.

The view is amazing. I think this sentence will sum it up nicely.
Deer in the back yard, whales, porpoises, seals and eagles in the front yard. The "Old Sow" was fun to watch every day.

Don’t hesitate!
This property has the WOW factor, exactly as described and then some! You don’t ever need to leave the deck but if you do there are spectacular views from every room in the house. It is very clean and well appointed and worth every dime. We were sad to leave.

Everything you want in Eastport.
Exceeded our expectations. We and the remnants of hurricane Ida arrived at the same time. The weather didn’t dampen our spirits. The house withstood the storm without notice. The deck and sunroom were amazing. The kitchen was well stocked. Fresh live lobster and the best crabmeat in Maine are minutes away. The people of Eastport were wonderful and such an easier pace than Bar Harbor. The road less traveled.

Ahhhhmazing!
We had the most wonderful week here. It is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Maine. Trust when I say you will not want to leave that deck. We were up by 5 every day willingly to greet the sun and experience the nature, wildlife and peaceful mornings. We couldn’t wait to come back at the end of the day for more. What an amazing place and experience. The owner has thought of absolutely everything you might need and provided it. The home is adorably renovated and extremely comfortable. We would love to come back!!!

Amazing stay
We’ve been renting Maine cottages for the past 12 years and this was the best of them all. The property is in fantastic condition with ocean views that can’t be beat. Deb, the owner, was very responsive to all our questions. The house was incredibly clean upon our arrival and was well stocked with everything we needed. Really appreciate that the owner provides high quality items, ranging from towels to dishes. Our stay was perfect and we hated to leave. Thanks Deb!

What an amazing house and location! Everything was just beautiful and every detail perfect. My husband and I stayed four nights and never wanted to leave. My sister and two cousins stayed one night and were just as mesmerized. Hands down the best place I have stayed. Thank you so very much for a wonderful mini vacation!

Great Family Vacation
We have been going to Eastport and Lubec for the past 6 years. Started in Eastport (where my grandmother was born), then our rentals were sold. Past two years were in Lubec then that rental was sold so back to Eastport we go! Lubec is nice. Very quiet, especially this year. Eastport is a little more bustling. The house we stayed at was great, clean, nicely decorated and appointed. We didn't need anything. You can literally just stare at the ocean all day if you want. We did some makerel fishing, some clamming, a nice hike at Quoddy Head State Park, visited Reversing Falls in Pembroke, ate Betty's Crab, got some Maine-ly Salmon, and had a few lobster rolls at Quoddy Bay Lobster. Added bonus: our rental had a ping pong table that took up most of our nights! And a secret: there is more sea glass on the beach out front than you have ever seen in your life. I am going to have to start getting crafty. Deb, the owner, was easy to contact about any questions we had. This year, for the first time, we said we could really use a second week Downeast. Maybe next year.

A Fab Jem
Deb's place is a little jewel of a house. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Eastport is an interesting area, there is biking, hiking and Canada real close - although borders are now closed :( The highlight of Deb's place is the terrace from which you can spot on a daily basis seals, whales (in season), porpoises, and we also saw a shark! The pair of bald eagles whom have a nest nearby become your best friends. Staying at Deb's place was like living through a NatGeo documentary. Also, one cannot get enough of observing the crazy tides rushing in & out of the bay. I wish we had invested in telescope (our binoculars were good, but still) [Stargazing would have been fun too]. We were very sad to leave....yet very lucky to have experienced such a marvelous corner of the USA. Enjoy!!

Quiet Eastport
We stayed for ten days at the owner’s beautiful house in Eastport at the end of August / beginning of September.
The house is wonderfully located on the bay. It is near-new, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and frankly, was hard to leave. Everything necessary was present, and the owner was very attentive, and made sure we were doing well during our stay.
Eastport is a quiet place, and that suited us well. Canada is a stone’s throw, and we visited four times during our stay. There are many things to do in the area, but our primary purpose was to do nothing, which is mostly what we did: quiet days reading and evening walks were our ‘bread and butter.’
This vacation rental is highly recommended.

The views!
Everything about this home was perfection! We loved staying there. The house was super clean! We spent hours sitting on the deck whale watching, watching the tides change, just enjoying the beauty. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The beds were all super comfy! I can’t say enough positive things about the home! We loved it! The owner Deb was great, super helpful with ideas to keep us busy sightseeing. She Has thought of everything in order to make this the perfect getaway! We can’t wait to come again!

Watch for whales from your deck-Eastport Maine
Location, location and an HGTV home-couldn't ask for anything better. We spent hours and hours sitting on the deck mesmerized by the view, the wildlife and the tide changing. We saw whales, deer, eagles, seals - just endless entertainment. At night, we would cozy up with warm blankets provided and watch for shooting stars.
The home is just gorgeous, immaculate, super comfortable, and tastefully decorated . Easy walking distance to downtown Eastport where we visited Moose Island Bakery--had way too many molasses cookies. Cute little yarn / fabric shop along the route and great seafood chowder at the Eastport Chowder House. We cooked in most nights after grabbing groceries from the local IGA- who would not want to cook in that kitchen -everything you could need has been provided!!! Lots to do around the area- we went into St. Andrews, Campobello Island, Reversing Falls-just to name a few. Recommend you get a piece of pie at Helen's in Machias along the way ! Friendly neighbors with lots of good info about the area. We will definitely be back-
