The location was fabulous, just 20 yards from the main square yet quiet and unobtrusive.
Keys, I had emailed through Bookiing.com a couple of weeks before leaving UK giving my planned time of arrival - but no reply. I chased Booking.com but still no reply. One of the party arrived slightly ahead of everyone else, rang the owner who gave directions and gave her the key. All very easy. We did not meet Adreina ourselves but any queries by text were replied to within a few minutes. excellent service.
The "breakfast", was again a very generous quantity of fruit cheese yoghurt etc. Lots of bottled water coffee tea etc, we literally wanted for nothing. Enough for breakfast and a mid day for us. We just added fresh croissants from "Heidi and Peter, 20 yards down the street.
Cleanliness - everything sparkly clean
Only failure... It rained on our day at the opera and we had to wait until 11.30 before the opera started. Still a magical production and rather damp arrived back just 15 mins after final applause had died down at -2:30 am.
Highly recommended our party of 4... 2 late 70s 1 early 80s 1 late 40s.
Hard pressed to think of anything.

Read what we didn’t like first. What we didn’t like cont: The construction noise lasted until 5PM, every day. Also, the construction workers were directly outside our apartment windows (photo provided), thereby violating any sense of privacy. They also left the main door to the building wide open all day, often not even closing it when they left, thereby leaving the building unsecure. The demolition and reconstruction of the apartment next door had been going on for some time. Yet, the property manager made no mention of it — it would have been impossible to not know about it. The property was not inhabitable given the level of noise, lack of privacy, and lack of security. The property manager would not refund any money for the nights and days we suffered in the apartment nor did she assist us in finding alternative lodging. The only thing she was willing to do was not charge us for any nights we did not use if we found another place to stay. Thus, we spent two days of our precious vacation time trying to find other accommodation during the Easter holiday (not easy), trying to get booking.com to help us (which they supposedly tried but failed), and talking to our credit card company (which wouldn’t refund us for the horrible nights spent in the apartment). We wasted our precious vacation time repacking our suitcases, lugging them to a temporary storage place, and then lugging them to our new accommodations and unpacking again. We never received any compensation from the property management company for the horrible experience, for our precious vacation time wasted looking for a new place to stay, nor an apology for the menacing threat from their employee and the uninhabitable conditions. 3 weeks after our horrible stay at this property we had yet to receive an email from Booking.com to write a review. We had to call to request the review email. Coincidence? We think not.
Overall, our experience with this property was not luxurious, not peaceful, not good service, not clean (found a fake eyelash in the shower, and other issues with cleaning and smells), and definitely not worth it. We do not recommend this apartment. The main problem was the property management company. Their representative, Andreina, with whom we had confirmed and re-confirmed our arrival time, at the last minute handed us off to another person. The new person, Samira, was not at the property at the designated time. When we called her, she hung up on us. We thought that perhaps she didn’t speak English nor Italian, as we tried communicating to her in both languages. After no response to our texts, we called again - she handed the phone to a young man, presumably her son, to speak to us. They didn’t seem to know where the property was. After about an hour of trying to get them to come to the apartment to let us in, and many other issues with our arrival, we finally got into the apartment. Despite the awful arrival experience, we decided to move on and to try to enjoy our Easter holiday, Wedding Anniversary, and a Birthday. However, in the evening, we received a menacing text from Samira (screen shot provided in photo section). This text not only was insulting, but also made us feel unsafe in the apartment given that she had a set of keys. We contacted Andreina, notified her of the text, and told her to please take the keys away from Samira as soon as she returned to Verona. We never received any communication from Andreina about the text – no explanation, no apology, no confirmation that the keys would be taken away from Samira. Consequently, we did not feel safe and secure in the apartment. Then, the first non-holiday morning of our stay, we were awakened at 7 AM by jackhammering and construction in the apartment next door. It was so loud, we couldn’t have a conversation.

The location is outstanding-right in the heart of the old city and by Piazza delle Erbe. The apartment is italianate and charming with a balcony with lovely views. Comprises two floors. Upstairs are two bedrooms and two bathrooms completely private from each other. Washing machine was very much appreciated too. Downstairs was a sitting area, good kitchen and big dining table (plus extra loo). We were two couples traveling together and found it very comfortable. And it has a lift! Very important as it’s on the 5th floor.
The oven doesn’t work so we couldn’t heat up our takeaway foods from the local salumeria. Microwave does work however.

the host stocked the fridge and pantry with everything we needed for breakfast. Event wine, cheese and different types of salami were provided!
Make sure you know how to operate a Nespresso machine :)

One of the best that we have been experienced. The apartment is located in the center of the town surrounded by shops, restuarants, and cafes. Can walk to most of attractions in Verona. There is also bus stops nearby, The apartment was very nice decorated and fully equipped. The fridge is packed with good variety of ham, cheese, milk, juice. There was even a bottle of wine for us. Andreina, the owner, was very kind and attentive. She helped us from guiding the our taxi to the location near the apartment where she was waiting for us, to call a taxi to send us to the train station when we checked out. When there was a small problem in one bathroom, she promptly came with the plumber to fix the problem. Will definitely recommend the place to our friends when they visit Verona.
