Perfect location for exploring downtown Durango!

The home itself was fine and as expected with vrbo places. This particular home is connected with Vacasa company so they are who you communicate with, not the personalized, quick communication that I normally get. Check in did not go well. There was no key in the lock box and it was many phone calls and 5 hours of waiting to get someone there with a key. The home was in a locked building, great for safety but then was alone and stuck in the building for hours due to outside doors locking at 7 pm and no way to get back in out of the elements, did not have a vehicle. No access to bathroom or water, just sitting with luggage. When calling Vacasa for assistance, text and telephone, “we will work on this and get back with you”, “we are working on this”. Etc. I finally found a number for help on the Vrbo site and asked for a supervisor or manager to speak to help and finally got assistance. Definitely will try my best to avoid the “extra layer”. Colorado was nice and no issues after check in.

This little gem is located a step away from the main street, which is lined with gorgeous little boutiques, antique shops, restaurants, outdoor apparel products. It has air conditioning, a small living room, a large bed, plenty of extra towels and blankets... just lovely.

This is a great vacation property located just one block from Durango's hoppin' Main Street, which is lined with restaurants and shops. The one-bedroom apartment itself was clean and comfortable and well appointed. We would definitely stay there again.

This apartment was in an excellent location! Very short walk to the downtown area with shopping and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and plenty spacious for the two of us. As with other reviewers, I will say that it was a bit loud. You could hear every move the upstairs renters made but it didn't bother us at all. We were there a very short time so didn't get much, if any, use of the kitchen but it seemed adequately outfitted should you need to prep the basic meals and we did not use the wifi so can't speak to that. We did have a parking question that I texted to vacasa and received a quick response. Great spot! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Loved the location where we could just walk a block or two and find many places to eat and shop.

Perfect location in downtown Durango, Great and easy communication and check in procedure. The apartment was very clean and stocked very well with soap and essentials. The beds were very comfortable and there was a lot of closet space. The parking was fantastic.
My only suggestion is to have brighter lighting in the living room area.
Overall, we were very pleased with the apartment.

Clean, perfect location. Could have used some shower gel. There was only one small bar of soap for bathroom sink and shower. Coffee but no creamer or artificial sweeteners. So not stocked very well, but would probably come back for location. Just bring your own stuff if you like showers and coffee! :)

Such a beautiful building to enjoy in the heart of Durango. Location & size was perfect for an extended solo weekend.

We really enjoyed our small apartment in the heart of Durango. The location can not be beat, you can literally walk out the front door and be on main street. Parking was convenient in a designated lot across from the building. It is a historical building that is charming, but know that the walls are thin and you can hear the people above walking around. We have no problems with that - we enjoyed the space. It was nicely decorated, updated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The space is homey and we were very comfortable while there.

The three of us enjoyed this condo in Durango. It was comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. It was easy to get in and out, and being downtown was nice.

The location in the center of historic Durango was perfect. We could walk to everything. Including the train station. If you don't like train noise this is not the place for you. The tracks are right outside and the train does whistle loudly several times a day.The condo is small but updated. The couch had some staining and really needed a cleaning. The first floor is convenient, but, it is also next to a shared patio. If you open the windows you get cigarette and pot smoke drifting in. This is an old building with no soundproofing. You will hear the upstairs neighbors banging around and talking. The parking isn't ideal for anyone with mobility issues. It is in a lot across the street off an alley. However there is metered parking outside the door. A quarter will get you 15 minutes to load or unload your car. The no contact check in was easy and worked perfectly. Bring your own pillows. Theirs are awful. Very uncomfortable. Linens are otherwise nice. Overall this condo worked well for our 4 day stay.

The location couldn’t have been better, right in the middle of downtown, walk everywhere. Condo was pleasantly decorated, comfy bed, quiet at night. Would stay here again.

This really is a great little studio type condo. Clean, well stocked and the perfect spot for downtown access. A couple of things seemed off to me but none of it had to do with the actual property. For example when I went to get the key from the lock box, the code was already dialed in to the box. All I had to do is pull it open and extract the key. Not great security. I parked in the designated spot but never found or received a pass or anything. How do they know I’m the right vehicle for that spot? Anybody could’ve parked there. I did not receive instructions for access right away either. I had to query VRBO (who really isn’t the PM it’s Vacasa) and eventually received the code and instructions. Biggest warning is don’t believe the advertised price. My final price was 66% higher than the listed price. That’s absurd. I needed to make this trip happen so I ate it but in my opinion that’s very dishonest.

Great little room with all you need. PERFECT location!!

Almost Everything about this place is nice except for the fact that it is on the bottom fooor so every sound from the family upstairs could be heard loudly starting at 6 every morning and continuing until noon. Impossible to ignore impossible to sleep. Like there is a trampoline in your ceiling and they are squeakily pounding up and down. The place is lovely otherwise so units higher in the bldg are probably excellent. But I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it.
We spent our whole trip as zombies because of the terrible noise.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location in town. Just a block off of Main street. Having a designated parking spot in town is a must. We parked our car and never needed to use it while there. Easy walk to the train, restaurants etc. Has a well stocked kitchen, but with so many restaurants in the area we didn't have to use it much. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again when in Durango next time.

This was a clean comfortable apartment in a perfect location for walking anywhere in town. The place was comfortable (the mattress was great!) and had everything we needed. The parking was very convenient as well.

Great stay in Durango. My only hesitation with booking again had more yo do with VRBO. Our flight was changed to a day later & I contacted VRBO through the app several days before. They NEVER got back to me. Glad there wasn’t any issue with our stay- doubtful we would have gotten help.

Perfect location! Clean, organized and cozy!

Will not use Vacasa again
Vacasa’s check-in process is nothing but data matching under the guise of “verify your identity.” It’s the only property management service that I’ve ever used that does this. Will not use them again. The property itself was perfect for me. I needed to be in the downtown Durango area and this property is about 100 feet from Main Street. It was very clean and had all the kitchen utensils I needed to cook. The bed was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with the location and the condo.

It was absolutely perfect.
Just what we needed and what a great location.

Positives: Location, comfortable bed, large walk-in closet, large refrigerator.
Negatives: Shower is half glass wall sprays water into the bathroom. We tried to lay a hand-towel at open end of the wall that helped some. When we first arrived, the throw rug on bathroom floor was very wet.
A/C did not work. You could open the windows at night, but one day we were home during the day and could have used AC.
