2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!

Tired - property - but clean and relatively well equipped.
Have stayed here on numerous occasions. If its a clean and basic place you need to put your head down then it works well. If you need something fancy as you are planning on spending a lot of time there then it may not suit your needs.

Outside is a little weathered - inside is clean and functional.
Does start to need some TLC but is a value for money stay.

We loved staying at the property, plenty of room for all of us & centrally located. The Coonara was amazing and having the assortment of games was a blessing at night, lots of fun and laughter.

Just what we needed a nice relaxing family getaway, that is located walking distance to shops, lake and carnival

Accurately advertised, however the house could do with a good deep clean, a bit dusty & grimy in some areas. Overall the kitchen, utensils, furniture, toilet & shower were thoroughly cleaned & ready for use.
I feel I should note the air con did a wonderful job for the middle of summer!

It was good. The fire wood heater was great and kept us really warm. The kitchen was filled with many equipment and utensils.

Sweet little house had a lovely family friendly living room and warm, comfortable beds/bedrooms. Only drawback was the wood fire, which didn't emit much heat and apparently required guests to bring their own wood, although this was not stipulated on the website.

We stayed for 6 nights. Loved the coonara which kept us nice and warm. Electric blankets were very nice. Having an extra TV in kids room was great. There was also a bath which was a nice surprise. Plenty of room for all 7 of us to sit in lounge room and plenty of puzzles and games for the kids. We all had a lovely time and enjoyed staying at this property. It suited our needs and location was great. Close to shops and pondage. Would stay again.

Cozy older house. Very safe for dogs. I really enjoyed feeding the local birds in the morning.

The house had everything we needed. It was great to have a range of board games and another tv in the kids room. The fireplace was wonderful but heat didn't spread to the bedrooms very much. Luckily we thought ahead and brought an oil wall heater with us and kept the kids room comfortable :). Each morning we were visited by a variety of birds that fed from our hands and bird seed was provided - thank you so much... Perfect winter break!
Oh, a wood splitter would have been good however we had no problems getting the fire going with ample firelighters provided. A couple of extension cords would be useful too but we brought our own so had no issues.

It's got everything you need when on a budget and much need of a getaway.
Best thing about the property was the fireplace for those cold and rainy days.

Good location, Cathedral Ranges was our main destination. On the other side, no TV reception or WiFi was slightly inconvenient.

Three of us and our pet dog stayed at a lovely, cozy and a great location. The home was presented well with all the needs that you could ask for and the price was more than fair.
We will be back again.

Great value older style cottage in a fantastic location, easy walk to pondage and shops. Bed was really comfy and the fully equipped kitchen came in handy when wanting to cook. Property was fully fenced so very dog friendly for those taking their fury friends.
Would definitely stay again.

Was great staying here for a few days, very relaxing atmosphere with birds coming to feed in the morning and afternoon and lake Eildon a 2 minute walk away. Great for our fishing trip! Also great tennis courts and golf course nearby

Instead on staying at a motel we prefer a house , this little house did the trick. As we are in the building trade it’s not hard to notice this place needs restumping badly, the verandah feels like it will fall in. The garden is overgrown & needs attention. That said we had a relaxing time.

Desperate for a paint externally and lots of spider webs! Garden shabby and outdoor furniture dirty and unusable. Electrical wires hanging around loose. Potential fire trap as only one entry/exit door available for guest use.Inside not cleaned to a good standard. Bathroom out of the 1960's in very poor condition. No light over toilet. Advertised as pet friendly but isn't "pet secure".

Great little house but should fix the front sliding door slide curtain so it is easy to sit out the front other than that all good.
2.5 / 5.0
Great comfortable place for a short stay. Good value for money and walking distance to shops and pondage.
