Great place to stay. Close to Stowe. Pet friendly.

This was a nice, cozy cabin. We skied at Stowe for the weekend and it was a good home base.

The property was as listed. Secluded spot, but just close enough to get to town to do stuff. The check in process was seamless. The house does have some regular wear and tear, but is super cute and was great for me and my friend's to relax. My dog loved the yard. We did have to purchase a new propane tank to use the grill for just one night. Also didnt have enough toilet paper for the whole trip. There are no paper towels either. We did not reach out to anyone cause we figured it was just our responsibility to buy these things, but maybe for future renters let them know they may need to reach out for that or will need to purchase/bring things like that with them. The hot tub is a great addition and is very relaxing to sit in and watch the sunset or listen to nature. I rated the cleanliness a 3 only because the microwave was dirty upon arrival. Aside from the small things, which are easily amended, it was a great time and great place to stay.

A lovely Vermont cottage. Comfortable rooms and beds. All necessary amenities available; sheets, towels, kitchen supplies. The property manage lives next door and has fresh eggs available for purchase. Wonderful views on the back deck of the Vermont mountains. Easy to get to and lots to see in the area. A lovely time had by all.

Great meadow for our dog to run in, plenty of nearby hikes. Clean and comfortable!

The barn style house is quaint, but has a lot of wear and tear for the price of stay. The kitchen supplies need to be updated. There were no mixing bowls. The house is a bit noisy when you’re running the utilities, such as washing machine and dryer. To save on the floors of the house I would suggest you put in some sort of walkway entrance to the front door. We experience, snowy weather and mud. A raised decking system would hopefully prevent carrying mud into the house.

We loved everything about this property! The location was great, the house was spotless and checkin was super easy. Unfortunately, we had absolutely zero correspondence with the host or even the co-host. We didn't reach out during our stay, but they also failed to let us know that the main route to their lane, had the road closed due to a wash out or bridge repair. I feel that would have been something they could have let us know ahead of time.

A really nice Vermont experience for us and our small dog. The house is cozy & comfortable and in a peaceful spot with nice views out the windows. We did require our all-wheel drive vehicle since there was a thaw and the road was muddy and closed from one direction. We skied at Stowe, a short drive away.

A very comfortable farm home stocked with all of the necessary amenities and space for the dogs to run and play, a perfect way to enjoy the long holiday weekend. Excellent location with Stowe Village just a few short minutes away with an incredibly easy drive to the Burlington/Lake Champlain area. Looking forward to hopefully a return Summer visit.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 winter weeks, along with our dog and some guests every so often. This little cottage was a great place at a unbeatable price for what it offered: dog friendly, hot tub, and room for guests.
The master bedroom bed (Queen) is comfortable (not too soft) and the kitchen is indeed well-appointed. During the winter months, you will need to supplement the central heating with the wood burning stove, which absolutely keeps the home toasty!
Keep in mind that this is an old cottage on farm land. That means insects, water from a well (with low water pressure), and the occasional mouse. The home is clean and the property manager is right around the corner, responsive, and very kind.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable and warm. The house is located in a great area for privacy, quiet and all the recreational activities we wanted to do (downhill & x-c skiing, snowshoeing and hiking). In a winter with no snow, this was the best week. It snowed almost every day of our stay. Lots of fresh, soft, & fluffy snow!
Cheryl was wonderful and helpful. She got the hot tub up and running for us. We would love to stay here again.

This house and property was absolutely amazing and picturesque. The home was spotless, welcoming, warm, and really put us in the holiday mood. The kids had such a good time that they cried when we had to leave. We attempted to stay another night but the home was rented already (no surprise!). The kids loved the loft room, they said it was their "dream bedroom". Our puppies had tons of room to run around outside and burn off some energy (kids too!). We had great communication with the owner and property manager. I highly recommend this property for a rental. It's also very close to town, and offers you that privacy that you really want. We are from NYC so we wanted lots of space inside and outside - mission accomplished. Thank you!

My family of 4 really enjoyed staying here for our visit to Stowe. The house is cozy and charming, and the setting is quiet and private. We met the friendly caretaker when we arrived and she told us how to reach her with any questions. The gift of honey and eggs was a thoughtful touch.

Great space, nice and private
Was a great location, very peaceful. Had eggs in the fridge and maple sugar candy on the table when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. Enjoyed the stay here and would stay again, but it’s good for others to know that the well water in the sinks and shower tastes and smells very sulfury, so we bought bottled water at the store. Also only a few of the jets in the hot tub actually work. Other than that it was a cute space and we enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed staying at the house - hot tub, comfortable bed, plenty of space for the pup to run around, quiet and private, and close to Stowe area amenities. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Spring Break 22 Stay
We stayed here a few days this week during Spring Break. We loved it. My kids liked the house, the hot tub & the loft bunk upstairs. We enjoyed hiking, the cider mill tour/tastings, restaurants and exploring with our dog also. I highly recommend.

Enjoyable stay
This was our second time at this property- the last time about 3.5 years ago. Despite the rain ( again) we very much enjoyed our stay. My husband and I find it simple but homey and our dog loves the yard. The property manager came by and introduced herself which we have not experienced at other stays and there were small details ( fresh eggs!, the house was nice and warm) that made the weekend even better. We would definitely return in the future.

Private and Serene
This charming home gave us just the amount of space we needed and provided an enjoyable experience after a day of snowboarding. The road to get to the house was seasonably muddy and a little rough, but not it wasn’t very long and did provide nice privacy and serenity once there, especially from the back deck. We enjoyed the peaceful view from the hot tub and even saw a few single engine planes coming in for a late day landing at the local airfield. The property manager and owner were very pleasant and available when needed and the property was very clean when we arrived.
