About this house rental

Udder Barn is sited on the east of our property. Large entrance hall - floor to vaulted ceiling leading through to an open plan kitchen/dining area. Window facing east across the fens. Downstairs double bedroom, window to the north. Downstairs wet room with toilet.
Stairs leading to twin room (2 double beds with separate quilts) windows east and north. Walkway to mezzanine sitting area, two 2-seater settees, bi-fold door with Juliet balcony to the west, window to the north. Televisions with free view in the kitchen/dining area, upstairs bedroom and sitting area. Blue ray player in sitting room with some DVD's. If you want a lot more choice you would be more than welcome to come over to the house and choose from a wide selection, we just didn't want to clutter up the room.

The kitchen has a gas hob and a single oven/grill. There is a microwave, dishwasher (with tablets) and a fridge with a freezer box. Toaster, slow cooker, iron and board. The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in our garage.
An air source heat pump supplies the energy for the hot water and heating.
There is ample parking on a graveled driveway and a block paved sitting area.
We have an outside heated swimming pool, should you be staying when it is open - usually late April to early October depending on our weather - and would like to relax and have a swim you would be more than welcome. For your convenience there is a changing room with shower/toilet/basin next to the pool.
Our pool is used only by us and occasionally our family if visiting, Udder Barn guests usually take priority.
IMPORTANT: There is a NO GLASS or sharp objects policy within the pool area.
There is a NO SMOKING policy in Udder Barn. Only service/assisted pets allowed

We stayed recently for a weekend. The farm house is lovely.... nice and peaceful and everything you need. The use of the pool is an added bonus and we loved it. Would highly recommend this place and we would stay here again!

We spent a few days at this beautiful place. Everything is as it’s detailed, the hosts were a pleasure to deal with, very friendly, the pool was absolutely perfect, and I cannot fault this place at all. We will be staying here once again and I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a relaxed break.

Udder barn is a brilliant place to stay surrounded by rural beauty with awesome friendly property owners. The surrounding villages are not that far away and they have great pubs with homestyle cooked grub. We saw deer, badgers and owls every time we drove back to the barn. The interior of this home from home is really clean and comfy with all mod cons you need including access to a washer & dryer and swimming pool! We cannot say enough about Sue and Jim who were so nice to us, we would definitely stay again and highly recommend Udder barn. Book with confidence! The Drayton family

What an amazing weekend, just what we needed to recharge the batteries. If you're looking for a remote getaway with stunning views, sunsets and nature this is for you. You will not find a better place if you're looking for peace and quiet. We will definitely be back to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

I loved staying at Udder barn. The barn is modern and clean but has a real homely feel. You really do get a chance to relax and unwind. We really appreciated the drinks in the fridge and chocolates. The property is a few miles up a single track and you have limited Internet. This was fantastic as we got to switch off. We were unlucky enough to get caught in a storm that bought trees down and prevented us returning to the property. I can not praise the owners enough. They rescued us and got us safely back to Udder barn while the community cleared the road. I highly recommend staying here.

Three of my friends and I were looking for a property to escape the stresses and this property did not disappoint! It’s the perfect location to truly get away from it all. We stayed for 2 nights and found the property to be incredibly comfortable. Our host greeted us on arrival and was incredibly warm and friendly and offered her knowledge of the surrounding area. We were able to use the pool which was incredibly appreciated in the afternoon after a long walk around Temple Woods. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The barn was extremely well stocked and your attention to detail is second to none - you for sure don’t do things by calves! We’re sure you got a sense of our absolute awe when we uncovered the hidden beauties and have definitely ticked off something on the bucket list! Such a beautiful stay in an amazing setting - we absolutely loved our stay! Sue and Jim were very friendly and the property was so clean and comfortable. The views were amazing and we were even lucky enough to see Muntjac in the fields! Would highly recommend staying here, couldn’t fault any part!

The barn is cosy, quirky, spotless clean and has absolutely everything you should need. The pool is a bonus and to just sit, read a book, enjoy a glass of wine and look out over the fens was just perfect. Inside everything is to a very high specification so you really won't want to go anywhere!! Sue and Jim just lovely genuine people who just want you to enjoy your stay. Thank you 😊

Enjoyed the barn so much, lovely comfy beds and great use of space. Loved being able to use the pool and hosts were incredibly friendly and on hand if anything was needed. Appreciated the welcome pack of biscuits too
