We are the original owners of this property so it was especially wonderful to stay once more at this beautiful property. The weather was fantastic, we had a family reunion of sorts with other siblings and family staying at other homes around the lake. Being able to share this special piece of heaven with our grandchildren was especially great. Two of the 3 grandsons caught fish and one caught a Pike! Very exciting! This property has it all - a beautiful lake view, log cabin with room for family gatherings, able to walk out the door and go on a hike and jump off the dock and take a swim!

Great relaxing week away - great well stocked kitchen, plenty of space for grandparents, grandkids, kids and two dogs! It would be great to have a second shower, but we were never in any hurry to all get ready anyways! The location is remote with not too much around - but that is just what we were looking for!

Great location and spacious home with large deck and many amenities including fire pit, kayaks and boat dock. Close proximity to state park. Very clean. Our family enjoyed this quiet slice of heaven and all that Cranberry Lake could offer. Property manager and owner very helpful, responsive and efficient with check-in and questions throughout our stay.

This was the perfect house for our first vacation with our toddler. The deck was spacious enough for them to run around on. The location and Cranberry Lake itself is nice and quiet but you’re only 30 mins from Tupper Lake. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the house was clean upon arrival. All of the bedrooms had ceiling fans; however, it did get a little warm at night without A/C. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful. It had great access to the Lake. Dock was nice for our boat. Kitchen was set up with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were wonderful. I was a little disappointed that there was not a propane grill, towels and linens. This is our 7th year rented on Cranberry Lake, we do have experience as renters. The camp also needed a deep cleaning! There was cob webs everywhere! The floors were dirty and inside kitchen cupboards were really bad. I cleaned as much as a could...there was no cleaning supplies available. ( in which should be, renters wont clean up after themselves through the werk if there is no cleaning supplies) I took apart refrigerator before and after our stay for next renters. We would definitely rent again, but now we know what we need to bring. I would suggest a deep cleaning before opening the camp every year. I work as a executive house keeper in Saranac Lake, and I would love to clean this place for a swamp off rental price next year!

This was a wonderful lodge, roomy, warm, with a great view. Lots of windows and a spacious deck. The common room was roomy enough for all 10 of us to sit around together. Nice dock and swimming area with 2 kayaks to use. Denise was very helpful and always available if we had questions. I would highly recommend this wonderful cabin.

This was a beautiful Adirondack home that has everything you need for the family to enjoy a week of Cranberry Lakefront. It lives big so that there is plenty of space inside and out. We loved the views, the firepit at night, and appreciate the corn-hole set-up as well. Well appointed for large gatherings inside and out (deck is massive). Pantry was stocked and everything you need for cooking is there. It has a nostalgic Adirondack lodge feel and is cozy on a rainy day. Brought both boats and docking is easy. Note: if you have young children, you will want to use the beach for swimming as the description notes. Lots of rocky shore here. We loved it and would return.
* Note -- there is a great checklist on the fridge of what you should bring. I think it would be great if this was sent out to guests in a PDF before arrival. If you miss the photo caption when you book, as I did, you might not realize that you need to bring all linens for beds, bath towels, etc. It would be ideal if sheets and towels were part of the rental at this price point (guests could strip beds and throw the load in the washer and dryer before departing). If not, the list would be great. I missed it (it is a one-liner above the photo), and thankfully, had family nearby with extra sheets. But our first night was spent on top of coverlets. Other than that, everything was great!

Relaxing
Just wanted you to be aware, that the house was very dusty! All the night stands, most all flat services. We cleaned the railing to the second floor and cloth was black.
We had a great time on the Lake! Thank you for letting us rent .

Perfect spot!
We loved this cabin! The house was perfect for 6 adults and 3 kids - with room to spare. Having 1.5 baths was so helpful. There was space to put our food in the kitchen which was great. The dock had picture perfect views and we loved our week at Cranberry Lake!

Peaceful family vacation
The property is so peaceful. Cranberry Lake is a beautiful lake, wonderful for swimming, kayaking, boating and exploring. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. We really didn't need to leave! We enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking the water, s'mores around the firepit, quiet mornings and just catching up with each other. We very much appreciated having access to the kayaks and it was so nice having our own dock to dock the boat. The perfect Adirondack lake house to relax and disconnect. Thank you for sharing your home!

What a memorable week!
We had five adults and two chicken under 7. This house was perfect to bring our boat and have at the dock. We caught numerous fish throughout the week and tubed on the water. It felt like it was our own lake. Very few other boats which made it extra peaceful and majestic.
The house was a great size for all of us, fire pit and corn hole (in the shed) were fun in the backyard. The backyard is a steeper hill so just something to know if you have little ones or for us we didn’t have them ride their four wheeler as it was too steep.
We visited Lake Placid one day since we were closer then usual and that was a great experience as well.
All in all we had an amazing time, made so many memories and truly hope to come back again!

Beautiful, relaxing vacation
The lake house was perfect for our family vacation. It is beautifully furnished in lodgey decor and our kids enjoyed the bedroom that was set up to be a kids' room. ( our kids were ages 6, 10, 13, 15 and 16). We had 6 adults who enjoyed the well-furnished deck with a beautiful lake view. We were happy to find Cornhole in the shed.We brought a boat which was great for fishing, and the kids spent a lot of time swimming. The kitchen was well-furnished. We could have used more than one shower, but we managed, We were so happy our 2 dogs could come with us, too! All in all, our week was pretty much perfect!

Our Cranberry Lake Trip
We spent 5 days on the property and it was way too short. My family and I had a great time at the cabin. It was everything we expected and more! We loved the area, nice and secluded in a wooded area of the lake. It was awesome to have kayaks and a row boat to use at our leisure. We are already making plans to come back next year but for a longer stay. Thank You Denise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
We had a wonderful time at Lone Pine Retreat with my parents, siblings, spouses, and a baby and toddlers, even though the weather wasn't as warm and sunny as we had hoped. We brought a ski boat and a little fishing boat and found the dock to be sufficient. The yard was a little more sloped than I had pictured, but not a big deal (just something to note for small, wobbly walkers). The only real negative thing I have to say is that the deck is not kid safe. The banisters are very far apart (which I should have noticed from the pictures). The campground beach was very nice and was a quick, easy walk from the house. I was a little nervous about the campground being so close, but we never heard any campers or dogs. Overall, we had a wonderful time!
