Perfect Amazon stay

One of the best breakfasts we've had at a hotel, anywhere. The hosts and staff were all warm and very friendly. If you stay here, you MUST go out kayaking; Tim is a fantastic teacher and guide.

Cash only. The hotel should update its policy, which currently allows for credit card payments, so that guests come prepared.

Wonderful stay in the jungle!

We came to explore the jungle for a few days and this was the perfect relaxing place to be. The staff could not have been friendlier and breakfast was amazing! David is BEYOND amazing and was so helpful with everything we needed and made us feel so welcome!! Bungalows are super roomy as well and very clean and water was super hot in the shower! This place is a bit outside of town (about a 10 min car ride) so make sure to have a car or planned tours.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful in organizing great hikes and rafting.

The cabana was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend these accommodations to relax after hiking and rafting. The owner and staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Very nice Eco resort. The bungalows are very cute and spacious. Tim, the owner, and the rest of the staff were wonderful and very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend and will stay here again.

Perfect Jungle Stay - will return

Beautiful cabins with an amazing breakfast. Bespoke kayak and rafting tours, which can include lessons. Was impressed with the focus on safety and fun. Absolutely perfect jungle stay. Like many places in Ecuador, full payment at the hotel is in cash or local bank transfer only.

Very peacefull place with comfortable and nice made cabanas. The owner Tim is friendly and very helpfull. There's a lot do around the lodge. I went with Tim for Kayaking and it was very very cool.

Exceptional

Tim and his family are great hosts. Together with his father from Ireland he built the business….a great story. Immediately as we arrived I felt welcome. He arranged for a swim with guide to a swimming area with waterfall and then a nice lasagna dinner. For the other guests he arranged a wild water rafting tour. The accommodations were simple but well planed, clean and comfortable.

Perfect with children

Confortable beds, short drive to many excursions and activities, nice shower, amazing pool, waterfall in walking distance and David was very helpful, kind and fun, perfectly suitable for traveling with kids, we were there with our 14month old son who had a lot of fun.

The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Made it easy with a picky 5 year old.

Exceptional

Superb staff. Tim and Monica and David go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel at home. Intimate lodge, so close to Archidona and yet it feels remote with its lush surroundings. Rooms are very well designed, practical and very comfortable. The meals are delicious and portions are generous. Tim is a great kayak instructor and is an expert on the local rivers.

Lovely unique stay in the jungle with all the luxuries your could expect

Tim and David were excellent, made us feel like part of the family. Excellent Kayaking trip with Tim. Would highly recommend staying here. Ideal for couples and families. David is a great Barman and his attention to detail is top class.

Absolute Highlight of our stay!

I was tentative about booking Rema Lodge, as it didn’t have many reviews yet - but I am so glad I did. The facilities are beautiful, the houses are built in an open manner so that you feel like you are sleeping in the jungle. David, Tim and Monica are all super friendly and helpful. We also did a rafting tour with them, which was one of the absolute highlights of our stay. It was really a pleasure and we would have loved to stay longer!

Perfect spot to stay almost in the Jungle

Everything. Spacious, clean, great location, super friendly hosts, awesome pool, fully equipped kitchen with food basics, welcoming cake, jungle atmosphere, ... it’s been fantastic to stay for a couple of days here and we fell in love with the place!!!

Nothing negative on the property, also coming some rainy days we had a really great time!!!

Great family friendly stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay. Because of COVID, we had the place to ourselves. It would be a lot of fun to bring friends and book the entire place. The restaurant was closed because of COVID, but we had use of the kitchen and washer and dryer. You can purchase a wonderful, homemade dinner delivered from the owner's parents. The pool is very nice and the facilities are great. Wifi is good, location is safe, and it's very relaxing. My kids loved it and really enjoyed playing with the owner's daughter. They're a really nice, helpful family. We had a wonderful stay, and I would love to return. We also took a fabulous rafting trip with our kids (ages 4 and 7). The guide was professional and helpful. I highly recommend having them arrange rafting and hiking.

Exceptional

Cozy and stylish Lodge, we felt like sleeping in the jungle (at night you can hear all the animals nearby). The room was really clean and free of mosquitos. The staff was very kind and made sure we felt good at any time. Breakfast, Dinner and the Cocktails were delicious.
