Well laid out property! Love the hot springs out the front door of the rooms!
A little dated. Bathrooms have been updated very nicely!

Location and maintenance was great
We think that charging extra for the pools and sauna was not good. Considering that we were staying in the hotel.

The bedroom was a good size, with access to some pools outside the rooms. Staff were very helpful. Great selection of food in the restaurant. Many pools to choose from in the public section, all of varying temperatures.
Access to the spa pools was additional, even after paying for a treatment. Thought this could be included once you have used the spa facilities.

It is the best option for staying in Papallacta and enjoying the hot springs. Quality of service in this hotel is really something different and very much worth its price. If you have such possibility - book a room with a fireplace and order a bottle of wine for the evening :) One of the most memorable experiences we have had during our trip to Ecuador.
Nothing, everything was great!

Nice and cozy room, and great with the hot springs right outside of our door. It is really great that the hot springs can be used 24/7.
On our last day when we had dinner the staff wasn't really helpful. We waited for the menu for 30 minutes, but nobody was around so we eventually had to go and get someone. And the restaurant was not busy at all, there were only 5 other people there. Other than that the rest of the staff, especially in the reception, was very very helpful and kind. Thank you for our stay!

The entire property was kept very clean, including the mineral pools accessed from the room. I witnessed them power steam cleaning and draining the pools the morning after our arrival.
Not a lot of good options for eating outside of the property, expecially for vegetarians.

The flowers and plants surrounding the spa tubs are beautiful. The food at the restaurant was delicious.

Love the facilities, very beautiful and tranquil. A little on the expensive side but for me worth it.

Fantastic location, views and facilities.
We were lucky to have good weather too, could enjoy the nice tracking course they also offer to visitors.
Restaurant staff seemed too busy and occupied. Food service was not as good in general.

We loved the hot springs outside our room. Food was good. Spa was great and reasonably priced. Easy hour drive from the Quito Airport. Relaxing and beautiful location.
Bed was sagging and uncomfortable. Wish they gave us more towels.

Loved the fact we has our own hot pools outside the room to use - we didn't pay to use the other main pools and just stayed in these!
The room was large and comfortable
Good buffet breakfast and the restaurant was good value and the food excellent
Friendly bar staff who let me put the US Open tennis on in the bar
We were unable to book some of the spa treatments we wanted to as they were fully booked - would have been helpful if the hotel had emailed in advance explaining that these need to be booked well in advance rather than booking when you turn up
This was the most expensive place we stayed in Ecuador per night

we had the cabanas by the thermal pools, the most comfy bed ever and the spa treatments were outstanding!

This place is a fabulous oasis, located just an hour from Quito. The hot springs are wonderful - more than on par with any hot springs resort I've been to in the US. The spa services are also excellent. We loved it so much there that we extended our stay.
The food wasn't terrific, but it wasn't horrible. We found the food in Ecuador, in general, to be pretty bad.

Amazing stay! We where in family bungalo with privat hot spring pools.
Loved the floor heat

We finished our tour of Ecuador here and it didn't disappoint. We were looking for a bit of pampering and a 48 hour chill out before flying home. The spa facilities are excellent, the lodges are spacious and comfortable, splendid showers and the 24 hour private hot pools are great (of course the main pools are a level above and not to be missed). The restaurant served some of the best food we had - lots of choice on the menu and a great buffet breakfast too. The only reason I don't score this as a 10 is that it isn't as personal as some of the other hotels we stayed in, but for some people that may be preferred any way. So the service is good, just don't expect everyone to know your name.
