The host was amazing, helpful and came to check to make sure we had all we need! Highly recommend!

This property was perfect for our family. Super clean, we live very the hot tub, the views were awesome as well. We will definitely be back!

The property was clean and had an amazing view of the lake. The lake is a walk up and down a steep hill. We enjoyed the hot tub. We stayed on the fourth of July and loved the fireworks from the porch and hot tub area!
4.8
Nice property and as described. Loved everything about it, with one exception. The deck kinda worried me with the sagging from the weight of the hot tub. As a home inspector, it’s concerning.
4.8
The cabin was beautiful and clean. The view was gorgeous and the area was very peaceful. The only real complaint would be uncomfortable beds. Everything else was wonderful. Definitely would visit again.
4.8
The kitchen is very nice and the upstairs room was perfect for our kids.
Please note that the nearest real grocery store is quite a bit away. Based on the remote location, definitely stop by a store before you arrive to pick up firewood and basics. If you are wanting to enjoy the kitchen and family cooking, you will need to pick up your own basics they don't provide such as Pam spray, olive oil, salt etc.

Cute little place but way too many steps !

This was an ok cabin. It definitely needs updating. The beds were not comfortable at all. The grill barely worked half the burners didn’t work. We ruined a entire meal trying to grill. The hot tub had maybe 2 jets that worked. The dock was so far off we never seen or used it. Not exactly what we had expected.

Very nice cabin with great view of the lake and mountains. We had a great time!

Easy check in process and communication with property manager. Spot on directions to the property. Very clean and spacious for the two of us. New towels/linens and comfortable rear bedroom memory foam mattress. Great view of mts and lake. Dog across street will greet you no big deal. Check in time could be earlier and check out time could be later. Wi-Fi worked great for us.

Beautiful property in quiet location on inlet of Watuaga Lake! The maintenance coordinator/builder of our cabin made a personal stop at our cabin on our first night's arrival to make sure all was ok. Very thorough and excellent, prompt communication/responses. We'd definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and clean cabin with everything we needed for a great vacation. Great location and view! Property manager was very easy to work with and quick responses.

Beautiful property! Our Daughter got Married so after the wedding this was our little getaway to relax after all the hard work with the wedding. The views are gorgeous! We brought our boat and anchored it at the dock and enjoyed some time on the water as well. We cooked there for each night with the exception of one when we spend the day in Boone.
No reflection on this property at all, it was wonderful, but the cabin right across from us had 3 dogs staying there and they would use the bathroom in our driveway so on check out day we had 7 piles to clean up prior to leaving.
We would absolutely stay here again

The house was clean and had everything you might need. We've stayed in several cabins on Watauga Lake and this one has the best views.
Thank you,

The house was really nice and the kitchen amenities were all we could want. We enjoyed the hot tub, although it was hard to figure out how to get the jets to work. One button wasn’t labeled, plus you had to hold it for a few seconds, which isn’t intuitive since the other buttons worked instantly. Minor inconvenience. We also enjoyed using the canoe. Wi-Fi was great. The bamboo chair in the living room needs to go. Ridiculously uncomfortable and became the joke - last person to sit down got it- with groans from the unlucky person. It took longer to get to the house from hwy 67 than we expected due to the very winding road and low speed limits. It was a bit nerve-wracking when it was dark and raining. During the day the drive was breathtakingly beautiful as were the views from the house.

The only thing I would change is there needs to be ceiling fans in the bedrooms.

Property was exactly as pictured on VRBO.
Check in was easy and contactless. The only complaint I have is the neighbors dog. This is totally out of the control of the property owner. But, I walked down to the docks to check out the canoes. While walking back to the cabin, the cabin directly next door (not sure if neighbors or another rental property) but they let their large husky outside and the dog ran all the way down the driveway and was barking growling and nipping at me my whole walk up the driveway. The dogs owner apologized and said the dog is not mean and I advised I couldn’t tell by the dogs behavior. I could of been easily bitten or my child for that matter. Again, this has nothing to do with the property stay but be careful and aware of your surroundings. The dog was a white husky with one brown eye and one blue eye. Otherwise, the property, cabin, canoes & views were great

The property is exactly what you see online. It was clean, the process was easy, but there was a small maintenance issue. The property manager and the maintenance guy responded quickly but we were there on a holiday weekend so I just turned off a valve and told them to enjoy their weekend. We had never been to this area before and the property was a little more remote than we expected but the view was nice. Just to clear it up the maintenance issue was that the water dispenser on the refrigerator would not shut off not a big deal.

This little trip was just what we needed. Beautiful place and beautiful location! Easy to find we put it in our gps and it took us right to it. The evenings in the hot tub was amazing!

This is the 2nd year my friends and I have booked this place for our annual lake weekend. We are a small group of ladies and usually have one kid in tow for the weekend. The house is bigger than you think. The hot tub is a very nice addition and is well maintained and clean. We like that is close to the water but not right on the water, so we don't have to worry so much about the little ones. Having access to a dock is key, as we always rent a pontoon for the weekend. The shared dock is perfectly fine for our purposes. We'll be back next year!

Nice place. Well kept and in a good location, although not right on the water. Quite a bit of boat traffic on Saturday afternoon (to be expected), but Sunday morning was calm and peaceful. The only negative aspect (and why I only gave four stars for cleanliness) was that the neighbor's dogs use the gravel driveway as their potty place, so bring some little bags for clean up.
4.8
Amazing view and really clean. Perfect get away!
4.8
I would caution seniors. Long stairs is the only entry to the house. Also a steep road to walk back and forth to the dock. However, if those two things are not a problem for you it is clean and very tasteful house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
4.8
Great view, spacious
This was our 2nd time staying here. Pretty home, great view. Easy to lake. I only wished our deck had a cover. We would enjoy it more. The sun shines on it all day (it’s warm) and when it rains it would be pleasant to sit outside. We stay in July. Larry is so pleasant and helpful when you need anything.
