We were a group of 5 couples with children, family and friends. With our group of 18 people, there was still plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. You can practically stay at the property your whole stay, which we did for Labor Day weekend. We fished, used the game room, relaxed on the porch and swing, used the propane grill. We had a great time with our whole crew and the whole party wants to come back every year if we can. Your home was clean and very inviting. Thank you for a great stay, will definitely recommend for any big group looking to get away and have a nice weekend together.

We had a wonderful time, love being on the lake. House was great, beds were very comfy.
Spacious eating area for everyone both inside and outside
Only complaint would be there’s no locks on the bathroom doors to keep kids from barging in on us

we had a weekend getaway with friends and family and we could not have picked a more PERFECT location and home.
We are already discussing booking the next weekend here.

Owners of the property were very nice we showed early, but they still allowed us in the house. They were very nice me and my friends, even helped one of my friends get their keys out of their car after locking them in the trunk. We throughly enjoyed the lake, and the lower floor. It was clean and ready to go, I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for an escape from the hustle of normal life.( also there is paddle boats and a kayak was very happy to see them there they are not in the pictures)

We had several issues unfortunately. The host was responsive, however, it was one thing after another. Not what I expect from a horse that cost $3k for a long weekend.
The hot tub never worked. When we were searching for a place, we specifically were looking for a hot tub so to find out it didn’t work and there was not a way to fix it during our stay was a major problem. Two toilets didn’t work -they eventually were fixed. There was no propane. By the time we got some, one of the group already went and bought some. More issues but I’m not trying to nitpick.
Overall, the house was beautiful but needs upkeep. It was not tended to well.

The cabin is well-equiped and comfortable for a large family. There is a lot to do in the area for people of all ages.

Plenty of space and great for a large group.

House is nice enough, big open floor plan and lots of bedrooms but a little neglected and listing isn’t 100% accurate. Sent two emails via VRBO and didn’t get responses to them. Six bedrooms listed as having one full and one twin when one had only two twins and we needed all the bed space so that left a person on the couch. Hoped to use the shuffleboard but there was no sand so we couldn’t. Also, thermostat set at 75 degrees and in a locked case so we couldn’t lower it. Several significant light bulbs out and none on premises. House in general need of a serious cleaning and some repairs. Still, family had a good time. Only there two nights. Close to shopping.

Would highly recommend this place.

Great property and location. We had three families who stayed here and space was plentiful. We had no issues at all. You won’t be disappointed.

Rented this with some college friends for a reunion, house was great and setting was lovely. Close to town and easy to access things. Hot tub was great. Best part was the large common areas for hanging out!

My family and I went to the Poconos to take my son snow tubing for the first time. Unfortunately because of a reservation mistake I made, we weren't able to go tubing. But we still had the best time because of this VRBO stay! There was so much to do in the house, the hot tub, the games, just relaxing and enjoying the view on the balcony. It was so beautiful here, we even had a great snow day!! The owners were so prompt with communication and they were the nicest people ever. We would love to come again and would recommend staying here to anyone!

Great property for a large group! Hot tub a hit and house set up was great for adults and teens (2 living rooms was key)!

Overall great stay! The layout is very nice and very lodgy as you would expect. Great view from exterior and very refreshing.
The noice to the below rooms are noticeable when walking. Outside of that all good!

I had my bachelor party here (19 of us in total) and it was a great spot. No one was brave enough to go in the pond, but it looked nice and we took advantage of the hot tub, the fire pit, and all of the lawn games/the pool table/shuffleboard. The upper porch area overlooking the pond was a great spot to relax.
My only complaint would be that the house no longer has the 100” theater in the basement that is shown in the listing, but the TV down there is still plenty big and the owner provided a replacement third TV so we were still able to hook up a bunch of Xboxes to play Halo together.
The internet works but isn’t great, especially for 19 people (under 100 mbs), but that’s to be expected in that area.
Would highly recommend for a big group looking for a place to hang for a weekend.

We had a lovely time - there were four families who stayed in the house and there was plenty of space for all of us. The property was very clean and everything worked as expected - we had no issues at all. For those who are booking this for the lake view you should know that you cannot really see the lake through the overgrown trees. Once on the lake though (we brought our own boats/kayaks) it was as shown in the pictures.

Great setup for our 7 families to stay and have a great time both inside & outside of the house. Maintenance is quick to respond to any issues we had at check in.

We had a high school reunion of 10 guys over the age of 50 and this house was perfect for us. We had things to do and a kitchen and grill large enough for us to cook multiple meals. We are hoping to rent here again next year.
One thing though, the lake was a nice view but not exactly swimmable and no water craft for use.

Had an absolute great time with friends for a little weekend get away. The view of the lake was great and the photos did not do this place justice at all. It was super spacious and easily accommodated 16 people. There was leftover firewood, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies which we payed forward with what we had left. The owners were super responsive when we had a question and were super friendly. I wish we had more time to spend there, I cannot stress how great the property was. The only downside I would say was there were dishes, pots, and utensils that were dirty from prior use and we had to clean a bunch of things to use. Other than that, none of us had any complaints!

Great place. Bring toilet paper and paper towels. Really clean. Great dive bar down the road

Great property right on the lake. Plenty of rooms/beds and a fun game room. Would recommend for large groups

The property was immaculate, it fit the description. We were in town for a memorial service and found the house to suit our needs.

We enjoyed staying in your home. It was furnished as it was listed. The only reason we would not stay again is the location. It was quiet, however, we would have preferred to be closer to the slopes. Also, for the price of the rental, perhaps you could consider extending the check out time. 10AM is quite early for check out.

The house is lovely and has a gorgeous deck. The basement games are a great addition. Most rooms did not have dressers or TV's. Overall the house was clean, and the main room is perfect for large groups.

We had such a wonderful weekend! Snowboard at Montage Mtn. The house was perfect for our families, lots of space and super clean!
Can’t wait to go back :-)

The house was perfect for a group of friends. The living areas were large and open for a group. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. One of our favorites was the back porch. Overall, it was a great home.
10.0
Property was a great location. Right on the lake. Big enough for extended family of 15 plus 2 dogs. If your are looking for a great place to enjoy a long weekend with all the family, this is the spot. Also, everything was accurate as far as listing details and pictures from the website. Looking forward to doing it again next year.
10.0
The property was very clean and super spacious! We were a large group of 14 and had plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out! The kitchen was also well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. There was an awesome game room too with a pool table and shuffleboard which was fun for the adults and kids. The fire pit in the backyard was also great for hanging out at night, and the hot tub!! Overall I would rate this house exactly as it is listed, no surprises. My few critiques are there was a paddleboat for the small lake, however, the steering was broken so not really usable. Would be an easy thing to fix for guests, or even having a couple of kayaks for people to use would be nice since the house is right on a little lake. My other critique is that for the price we paid for essentially off season (in between winter and summer), I would expect minimal items like toilet paper and paper towels to be provided by the property management. I think it's pretty cheap to not even provide these since we paid over $4,000 for just two nights. My last complaint would be the price was advertised as one amount per night but then when you finally get to check out after all of the cleaning fees, service fees, linen fees, etc are added on, it was about double what was advertised as the nightly rate. I find this to be outrageous and very misleading, but maybe this is an overall issue with VRBO. I would definitely stay here again if it wasn't so expensive!

We had a good time. Fire pit, grill, hot tub were great. Lots of space. Kitchen had most of the essentials. Bathrooms had hand soap. Late check out for $350 extra was love. Truly grateful about that.

What a wonderful house! The space and layout of this house was perfect for our large group of 13 adults. I really appreciated how clean it was. Great location to appreciate the Poconos.

This house was perfect for our group trip to PA! The house was neat and organized and had a great living space to hang out and the porch was beautiful. My only suggestion would be that I wish the brush in front of the water was trimmed down. It blocked some of the amazing view.

Convenient location, wonderful property. Highly recommend for next year - we’ll be back!

Overall a great place with ample rooms and space. A good deal of parking for all. Plenty of kitchen utensils and dishes. The dining area was great for us all to eat together. The outdoor area was a nice layout but the grass could have been mowed. Also the view in the listing is probably maybe a new construction picture because the lake view is obstructed on both lower patio and upper deck by trees, high shrubs, and bushes. That's the only negative if any. Just wish view of lake was better, but would rent again! Thank you!

The house: Beautifull. Plenty of rooms, plenty of bathrooms, beautiful views, tucked back just as most would want!
Before I start any reviews I will say this: The Owner & Property managers of this location are grade A 100% total rockstars. Very kind. Came out to check on some things straight away after we called them. Allowed my wife and I to stay hours after checkout after I stupidly lost my keys to my truck in the Lehigh River (word of caution folks). They were so kind and understanding. You don't always find this!
As always (I'd do the same) the rooms look a bit bigger in the pictures than they do when you arrive. This is just lens/photo jazz. The rooms are all described very well. No false descriptions.
The upstairs creeks alot - not a negative (if you have teenagers!) but if you have early sleepers - depending who sleeps where, maybe downstairs isn't the spot?
Hot Tub was clean - ready to use - hot! Well maintained (we own one so not ignorant)
The entire back area is beautiful up to the lake. With a paddle boat. lots of fun to be had!
All of the appliances were in working condition except for the ice maker in the fridge/freezer, but honestly, having so many random people show up varying on the scale of giving a crap - I can't expect everyone to respect property like they should. However, bring your own ice unless noted.
The only other negative in the kitchen would be the pans. Again... Honestly. What can be expected of the manager/owners? They can't buy new pans every week. You'll have your city folk coming in using metal forks on a nonstick pan and it's ruined in a weekend. So if you are particular about your cookware bring your own. If you are okay cooking on some pots/pans (there are plenty!) that are scraped up and abused, (as you should expect honestly) then you're good!
There are 10,000 coffee filters - you're good! You PROBABLY (unless they cleared things out) don't need to bring any. Everyone else ever has left them for you.
We saw snakes (I consider this a rating BOOST as a naturalist) - If you don't like snakes - the Poconos aren't your spot.
The pool table is heavily used but functional. The Shuffleboard table is pristine and amazing! Cues and chalk are there though extra sand isn't so tell your kids not to mess with the shuffleboard area! :)
Internet, video, sound, all good!
Just enjoy yourself! We'll go back if we have the chance 100%

For the money I spent the only thing good about it was enough bedrooms for my family. Everything else I was discussed with. Didn’t find out till last min no towels were provided. No extra toilet paper. Pots n pans are so bad I had to go purchase ones to cook in. Cobb webs, hornets nests, and just plain filthy. This house is not what pics show and would not recommend it to anyone until the owners put a lot of TLC into it. And having my own VRBO log home I rented I cared about cleanliness and making sure my clients enjoyed there stay.
