Welcome to the North Hawksbill House, a three bedroom two story home located in the Historical Town of Luray. Designed with your comfort and entertainment in mind, North Hawksbill House offers 2,500 square feet of living space providing a host of exclusive amenities and accommodates groups of six.
The North Hawksbill offers an open layout concept on the first floor, a spacious kitchen and dining area adorning a custom brick floor, and featuring all new major appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee while seated at the beautiful cherry dining table as you look out the large picture window watching the local songbirds. To prepare a delicious meal we have provided a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, baking dishes, cooking utensils, blender, toaster, Keurig, and a drip coffee maker.
The Downstairs level has a laundry room with washer and dryer, kitchen and dining area, bathroom with shower/tub, family room, bedroom, sitting area, covered porch with swing, central heating and air conditioning.
Enjoy relaxing in the spacious family room offering hardwood floors, an electric fireplace, and a 65" flat screen TV. For your enjoyment we have also provided HDTV's, high speed internet, Netflix, DVD player, Wi-Fi, and a selection of movies and board games.
Upstairs guests can rest in either the King or Queen bedroom which offers a spacious area to relax and unwind in a private setting. Both bedrooms feature luxurious bedding, flat screen TV's and walk-in closets. Kids will enjoy the downstairs bedroom that offers a hand crafted set of bunk beds, a futon, and a flat screen TV.
A highlight of North Hawksbill house is the custom designed outdoor oasis, featuring a 6-person hot tub and lounging area including a fire pit, 6 chairs, gas grill, and privacy fence.
As a guest of the North Hawksbill House we provide the following: All bed linens, bathroom towels, hand towels, washcloths, make-up washcloths, hot tub towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, hand soaps, hand sanitizer, coffee, creamer, sugar packets, travel size Beekman shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. We also provide firewood and starters for the firepit.
Centrally located in the Town of Luray guests have easy access to the Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns, the Shenandoah River and several Wedding Venues. We are within walking distance from the brewery, wine bar, art gallery, movie theater, restaurants, live entertainment, and shopping. Luray is the cutest little town nestled perfectly in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley. This house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was home away from home.

From the minute we pulled up we were impressed by the house! It was so cute. The outside area was perfect to relax with a drink and make s’mores. The house provided all the amenities and more! It was just a short walk to town where we grabbed coffee in the morning and ice cream and checked out the brewery at night. Close to the greenway too for an enjoyable walk! We used the house as a jumping off point for hiking while my parents stayed back and had plenty to do while we were gone! Can’t say enough good things about this house! Thanks again!

My friends and I had a fabulous stay here. The house was very clean and well stocked and in a fantastic location. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond. 10/10, would absolutely stay here again!

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The place was roomy and well appointed, extremely clean and had everything we could possibly need. The host was very helpful and got right back to us when we had a question.

Very lovely house with a wonderful porch and swing and 2 rocking chairs.
It was perfect for our family of 6. Four adults and 2 children.
The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, except a maybe a toaster.
Would highly recommend for a place to rent as a base to enjoy the area around LuRay, Va.

Everything was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer, we were in town for a wedding. Great location. Easy to get to. Comfy beds, linens and towels. Plenty of very comfortable seating. We didn’t use the kitchen for more than a couple wine glasses and coffee but in looking around it had everything you could need including kid plates and utensils. I literally can’t think of one thing I’d change.

The house is large (there were just 4 of us), very clean, and has a kitchen you can actually cook in. We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub as well as the proximity to Luray’s downtown. It is a quick drive to Shenandoah National Park and the hot tub felt good after a day of hiking.

I have stayed at over a dozen VBRO, BNB, etc and this is perhaps the most well appointed home I had the pleasure of staying in. Very clean, lovely maintained home with charming furniture and decor. Convenient to Luray Caverns and the skyline, both arr must see! Quick walk to Downtowm Luray with shopping, quaint coffe shops and eatting. Owner was great, fast communication and helped with suggest places to go. Would definitely stay again.

My family of 4 rented this home for a long weekend away and it worked out wonderfully! Our 4 and 2 year old children had plenty of space to play, and they shared an upstairs bedroom with space to spare. The laundry room was the ideal spot to park the strollers in between walks to downtown Luray (about 4-6 blocks, depending on where you're headed), and the 3-minute drive to the caverns and garden maze made activities easy to get to. The adults were able to relax in the hot tub after the kids went to bed - a great touch.

We had a great time! The house was better than expected. It wasn’t a typical rental of cheap furniture and household items. The furniture was nice, towels were plush and beds were comfy! Fresh flowers were a nice touch too! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire pit. We would definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here…very cozy & charming…beautiful & accommodating decor, even lovelier than the photos….many extras that made us feel like welcomed guests (wine/goodies, coffee/cooking/ kitchen/ bathroom supplies, games, books)…we especially enjoyed the hot tub after long hikes, the front porch swing, and the large spaces for family gathering…would love to return in warmer seasons…highly recommend!!

We had an outstanding time and I highly recommend renting this lovely house. Chasidy is a very responsive owner. Very helpful and promptly answered all my questions when planning our trip. Loved the fresh flowers in the living room! Super clean, nicely furnished and many extras.

We really liked staying in this house! It was exactly as advertised. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. It is located on a quiet street, close to the caverns and the entrance to Shenandoah. It was our first time in this area but hopefully not the last. We would love to stay here again .

We fell in love with this house immediately. It was immaculate, close to attractions, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed watching a movie on Amazon Prime.. I want to return to Luray so we can enjoy Shenandoah over the spring, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We fell in love with this house immediately. It was immaculate, close to attractions, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed watching a movie on Amazon Prime.. Great Visit
We rented the house to stay at for our family reunion at Lake Arrowhead. We had a great stay. The house was clean and in great condition. The hot tub was awesome. They even provided growlers for the local brewery. We will be back for sure.

Paradise In Luray
We were in Luray for a family wedding and this house had everything we needed, it was perfect. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the wonderful front porch swing. Chasidy even had fresh flowers in the living room, really made us feel welcome and at home, would definitely recommend this house and plan on staying again next time in Luray.

We love this house....PERIOD! It feels like home and we look forward to any opportunity we have to stay here. We utilize VRBO for most of our vacation needs and we've stayed in some very well managed and well kept properties. The Hawksbill House, however, stands out from the rest and is our favorite of any property we've used.

We have stayed at many rental properties over the years and this is one of the best. The owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries/requests before and during our stay. Notably our reservation was initially for June 2020, but then Covid hit and the owner readily worked with us to defer our trip to 2021 which we appreciate very much.

We were in Luray for a family wedding. This house was perfect for us! It was in a great location and had everything we needed. My adult children loved the adorable front porch and the hot tub. We highly recommend this house!
