About this house rental

This quaint home is in the historic, upscale Highland Park neighborhood of Lafayette. It's only a short, 5 minute drive to Purdue University or the downtown Lafayette shopping and restaurant district. With a cozy sunroom, large bedrooms, and recently remodeled bathroom, it is a great place to unwind after enjoying dinner downtown or a Purdue game.

The two bedrooms are large - each have a queen-size bed. The home has plenty of natural light, beautiful hardwood floors, and modern furnishings. There is a washer/dryer in the unfinished basement. The kitchen is fully furnished with anything a cook would need to make a meal. There is off-street parking in the driveway and plenty of free on-street parking as well. This 2-bedroom home is situated in a fantastic neighborhood of large, upscale historic homes.

A pack and play is available for those traveling with a small child.

This place was beautiful and very peaceful. We were in town for my father's celebration of life and this provided a tranquil retreat. Often, you can't tell about a place by pictures, but this was better than the pictures- the neighborhood is gorgeous- large well kept homes with amazing gardens. Great space to be and a great location- central and easy to get to everything.

We planned a visit to Purdue. This was a lovely little house in a lively neighborhood of families. Everything was very close by. He love the convenience of it. The back sunroom is a lovely added detail. We also spent every evening sitting out on the front porch waving and talking to the neighbors.

This place was absolute perfection. We loved walking around the neighborhood and the house was even better than we imagined - and not too far from Purdue’s campus. Nicole was amazing and very quick to respond! Definitely saving for future visits!

Our family of three, including an adult child, really enjoyed our 6 night stay at the Home in Historic Neighborhood Near Purdue in mid August 2023. It was a very nice house with comfortable beds, very nice bathroom and great and comfortable air conditioning. Our host, Nicole, was very nice and very responsive over the past months prior to and during our stay. The location was very convenient for us as our son is a new student at Purdue University. Thanks Nicole! We hope your home will be available again when we visit our son in the future!

Great house for a visit with our Purdue student, and in a charming neighborhood! The house was exceptionally clean, and Nicole was very communicative. Plenty of room to spread out - the sun room was a favorite hangout destination at the end of the day. We'll hope to be back sometime soon!

We loved our stay! Our son is a freshman at Purdue and this spot was about 10 minutes from his dorm (and for parents weekend this was fantastic!!). The kitchen allowed me to cook dinner and we loved going for walks in the beautiful neighborhood. The space was spotless and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and yet I loved how minimal it was so you didn’t feel like you were surrounded by a lot of clutter. I’ve stayed in tons of VRBO’s and this one is my favorite so far. I just hope I didn’t make it too popular and that I can book it again! Thanks again for everything!❤️

A very pleasant older house in a well established neighborhood within minutes of driving to downtown. Two bedrooms one bath reasonable for 2 couples. The washer and dryer are downstairs. And, this house has the cleanest basement I have ever seen in an older house. The furniture is retro sixties style, which means the sofa, the beds, and all of the chairs, aside from the dining room and nook chairs, are low to the ground. Well equipped kitchen with a selection of spices. Entry is by an old style realtor lock box with a key. I might consider a more modern combination deadbolt (to bring it into the 21st century). Very nice overall.

We really enjoyed our stay! Nicole’s property was spotless and honestly looked better in person than it even did in pictures. We appreciated the higher quality linens (many similar rentals I’ve stayed at have had microfiber sheets and very thin towels). The house was convenient to Purdue University (a bit too far to walk, but a very short drive) and the neighborhood itself is beautiful! Great home base for a wedding weekend.
