Wouldn’t know because they canceled on us 2 hours prior to our arrival while we were 4 hours into our drive already.

We booked a different place in Stowe . A day before our arrival we got a message that the property will not be available due to maintenance issue. After talking with the team we were re located to the harvest farmhouse. Few hours before our arrival an email was sent to me informing me that this place is not available. Since it was after we checked in we contacted vacasa to understand what to do. The answer was that the owner need the place. As it was late night we stayed the night in this low maintained appartment i, in the morning we understood from vacant team, after calling them again that due to fire marshal order the property is red flagged which mean we stayed over the night in a risky place. On the next day we were moved again to new appartment where we stayed our second night

There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown like this one so we chose to just not shower for 3 days. You can guess the rest--the water heater didn't manage to get repaired and we had to take pans of boiled water with us when we showered. It was disappointing. But still, the condo was convenient and dog-friendly and we'd definitely stay there again.

Great condo that was exceptionally clean and had all amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect for quick access to the mountain and walkable to downtown and bike trail. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Stowe!!

Our family stayed here for February vacation week. We had lots of fun.
As soon as we got home, we realized my daughter didn’t have her iPad with her. I checked “find my” app on my phone, it showed it there.
Vacasa refused to let me get in touch with the cleaning crew. We are offering a monatary reward for its return. If you stay here and find it, most likely in the couch, please text me 603-387-9426.
I’ve made several attempts with Vacasa to get this back with no luck. I really hope someone sees this and can help us out. Thank you!!

Loved this condo. Agree with other reviews that could be better stocked with more glasses and bowls. Bedding was not as cozy as you’d think for a Vermont stay. Clean and as advertised otherwise! Would stay here again.

The condo is in a great location right in town. It was VERY clean upon arrival and was mostly well appointed. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The ONLY complaint I have is that the kitchen isn't very well stocked. There are some basics utensils and pans, but not much silverware or dishes. Also, there are NO spices. None of this would stop me from coming here again, in fact this was my second stay here and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Just note that if you plan on cooking or making coffee you will want to bring sugar, salt, pepper, plastic wrap, foil, etc as none of that is provided. Most places I've stayed would have a cabinet with basic spices, oil, etc...

This property was as advertised. Cozy, warm, great location. Steps away from the Mac's Market. Walking distance to downtown. On main road, the main road noise wasn't to loud. Super convenient to any tourist attraction. Definitely a place worth staying at again.

Pros: location and walk-ability of Stowe-Proper; easy in/out access to the designated parking spot; being next to the market was very convenient.
Cons: windows weren’t operable and signs instructed them not to be opened; smelled like dog when the space heated up during the day with no A/C or airflow; ridiculous 7-digit door code that wasn’t even my phone number for easy recall; writing a review for both Vacasa and VRBO.

This home was perfect for our stay. Spacious, clean, and comfortable, as well as dog-friendly. The location is unbeatable - nearby parking space included and so close to the main street shops and recreation path. Would love to stay here again for our next visit.

We loved this place with one exception, otherwise would have given it a 5-Star review. There is a problem with the door keypad which did not retract the deadbolt to unlock the unit. The agent was helpful, initially giving us another code (which didn't work), but she then guided us to get a key from the lockbox and gain entry. The manual key is also a bit tricky to use, especially to lock the unit when leaving. The keypad unit and locking system should be replaced or repaired.
Other than that, it is an excellent place. It was very clean and comfortable with good lighting and nice matresses. There are window air conditioning units in the bedrooms. Appliances are nice as are the bathrooms.
It is a very short walk to the center of town with several available restaurants and some neat shops. There is a market just steps away, which is very convenient. We did take a ride up to the ski area base and it took less than ten minutes. It was beautiful up there - skiing would be incredible.
Would definitely return but would call ahead about the entry.

I would give a 4/5 for the property only because we did not have heat on the lower level and hot water the upon check in until the next afternoon. It was resolved and no worries after that!

Ideal location! Loved being able to walk dog in dog friendly area, walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shop in town, and recreation path. 10-15 minute drive to mountain with more restaurants along the way! Having Mac’s market across the way was also a plus.
Few flaws were confusion over where designated parking spot for unit is… it is behind the building where rental unit is…not in back of Mac’s. You do need to go through Mac’s parking lot and to the left… which is a different parking lot. The front of rental building is no longer occupied by UPS… it is a hair salon. So updating to instructions would be a plus. Place was neat and clean as pictured but floors were in need of washing… felt gritty/dirty in entry way, kitchen area, eating area… although it is a hard to keep clean as you come and go into the unit, upon arrival I expected it to be cleaner. Upstairs bathroom sink was clogged, security lock on door on unit would not hold the door in locked position for long and is in need of repair. We did contact management company regarding this and they walked us through it but it would still be an issue each day. Instructions on where to put trash once full and used linens were lacking.
Aside from these issues that can easily be solved by management…kitchen had what we needed, Beds and couch were comfy and we enjoyed our vacation with our pup!

We have stayed with Vacasa many times in Maine. We have always had a very high standard of cleanliness, both inside and outside. By contrast , the inside of this apartment was pleasant but the entry way was filthy , and there was a lot of builders material at the bottom of the stairs when we arrived. We were expecting it to be noisy as many reviews had warned of this, but deliver trucks at 4.30 am was too early. There was no noise on the week end, but noise during the week from the main road and deliveries really spoilt the stay.

This roomy, 2 story apartment could not have been more convenient. It is steps away from shops, restaurants, and recreation. Very walkable. The home was a perfect size for our family of 3 and dog. The kitchen was appointed with all the basics, linens and towels are provided. The onsite washer and dryer were an appreciated amenity as well.

The location was very convenient and a short drive to the mountain (15 min.). Having the grocery store right across the parking lot was wonderful! The place was cozy, clean and well-appointed and I especially like the wood-burning fireplace. Loved the kitchen! The only real drawback really was the confusion about the parking. Everywhere I parked, somebody said it was the wrong place to park. If I had to give some helpful suggestions, I would say to specifically detail where to park. Also, it would be helpful if there were mirrors in the bedrooms and maybe a TV in the master bedroom? The kitchen table worked out fine, but after a long day of skiing, it is not the most comfortable to sit on a stool rather than a cushioned chair with a back on it to eat dinner. The UPS truck guys were a little loud early in the morning but that was no big deal. We would definitely stay here again as we like the place and the price was reasonable. If the weather would have cooperated, the trip would have been perfect!

Nice property. Good as a home base for exploring the area. Stowe is a cute town with a handful of shops. Grocery store just steps from the unit. Washer and dryer were nice. Property was very clean. Note, this property is on a busy road, so if road noise bothers you at night (while trying to sleep), recommend you bring ear plugs.

Firstly the staff at vacasa was professional, friendly and helpful.
The unit is in a great walkable location. It was way too hot inside and there’s no reason they shouldn’t have some window units. I feel confident vacasa took our complaint about this to heart, so hopefully it won’t be the case for other visitors!
The unit could really use updating and it would be simple to do so. Every other vacation rental we’ve stayed in has had more thoughtful things provided. For example the kitchen has a good amount of storage but the drawers and cabinets are nearly all empty.
Upgraded linens and a new couch would do a lot as well. To us the value for the rental total cost was just not there and we regretted not staying in a hotel.
Vacasa handled our concerns and we would book with vacasa again.
