Lovely warm well equipped cottage in great location

Excellent location Clean, comfy and very well equipped

The living room is very small and parking was out on the main road but these things didn't bother us and we would return.

Trout Cottage is comfortable, clean, cozy and centrally located, a perfect base to explore Filey.

Trout Cottage is perfectly located for a short walk to the beach and restaurants and there are also two supermarkets close by. Adrienne, the owner, was always on hand to answer every question.

Our stay was perfect, nothing was missing.

Location was great, close to town centre.

Stair case, narrow and steep, third step from down needs looking at as it’s loose

Spot on for 2/3 friends to spend a couple of nights in Filey.

Lovely, cute cottage. Perfect for us (sis and me). Had everything that we needed. Central location. Really liked it.

The Cottage was immaculate ,clean ,comfortable, cosy.Everything you need for a break away.

Only where the cottage is situated it is in a run down area but know that can't be helped..It is central to the town .

Very central location, clean, spacious and comfortable

The only disadvantage was heating. It was switched off overnight and it was quite cold especially during our first night stay.

We had a lovely stay at Trout cottage. Beautiful cottage a few minutes away from shops, cafes and the beautuful beach of Filey. Really enjoyed our 2 day stay.

Our accommodation and the weather made this weekend break idyllic.

We were self catering - we had everything we needed in terms of equipment supplied. Trout Cottage was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and in a very central position giving access to shops, beach and all facilities

Trout cottage is in a great location, it's very close to the train station. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The lights in the kitchen and bathroom were fab. We loved our holiday in filey and would book trout cottage again. The landlady was extremely helpful..

liked the location. pillows a bit lumpy. sofa uncomfortable. Cosy cottage but not for us to rebook.

warm. super clean. excellent location.

local resident in same terrace does not like dogs. shame as we booked a dog friendly cottage. we felt unable to let our dogs out into the communal yard

the plug didn’t hold the water and the fridge was slightly too small but other than that no issues

A lovely little cottage in Filey. We stayed for two night here in October and very much enjoyed it, warm and comfortable. We parked on the road as the space outside was rather small. Had everything you'd need for two nights. A lovely large bathroom with bath was much appreciated after a long walk on beach with dogs.

Could do with a bigger sofa as there isn't much room for two on the current one. A small recliner would be perfect.

we had a lovely comfortable, relaxing time catching up after too long due to Covid

great location - really central. The cottage was really warm and comfortable and all arrangements were easy.

initially struggled to find the cottage as sat nav took as to a street behind but we found it by using the street name. On street parking nearby was free.

Just what was needed for a restful holiday. Enjoyed the whole area of Filey

Lovely, clean, well equipped cottage. Everything is so near, ideal for the beach and the country park. Quite a small property but ideal for a couple. Would highly recommend it but not with small children.

Perfect little cottage. Very well cleaned and maintained.

Nothing. I was aware of the parking space a little restrictive. However that was known when I booked. Our car did fit, however out of courtesy to the neighbours we parked on the main street.

A nice break in Filey

The cottage is updated to a good standard. Everything you'd need in the kitchen, ( dachshund crockery and ours was with us , cute )bathroom is big . Bed is comfortable . The area was quiet at night and so close to everything in Filey. We really liked Filey . Thank you Adrienne .

Parking the car was a little bit difficult but we managed . A big car wouldn't be able to park outside. The stairs to upstairs are really steep , didn't affect us but anyone with mobility problems, it'd be impossible !

Trout Cottage. Quite a nice little property but needs a few improvements.

Comfy beds and spotlessly clean.

Living space a little cramped and dark. Needed the light on at all times 8am onwards. Fridge far too small. Need curtains in the bedrooms in addition to blinds to block out light in mornings. Need to do something about the view of the wasteland at front of property. Perhaps Trout Cottage and other rental properties in that row could erect a higher fence to disguise the scrap yard.

Great

The location, was perfect. It was spotlessly clean , and so tastefully presented. My friend and I did really like it.

Only one draw back, and it wasn't the owners fault. I should have specified I am disabled . A rail all the way upstairs, and one over the bath needed. I couldn’t get in the bath to shower.
