If you want to get away from it all, this is it. Remote, quiet and lots of wildlife. Saw both Elk and black bears which was so cool.

Great house for a 5-year reunion. Marc was a great host.

We was surprised when we pulled up to the cabin of how beautiful it was. We spent a lot of time on the back deck just listening to the creek flowing. There was absolutely no disturbing noises at all. Everything was exactly or better than described in their property listing. This property will definitely be my first priority when staying again. The owners were great and made for a great getaway.

My husband and I loved this cabin ! Everything that was shown on the Website was perfectly articulated and accurate! The owners were more than happy To make our much needed getaway perfect ! We may have found the area inane around Maggie Valley a town we may investigate to retire! We loved the mountains views, absolutely in line for what we will be wanting for our retirement years !

We loved the character of this home, and had a fantastic long weekend away! The fall colors were just beginning, and the temps were nice and crisp. We had such great communication from the owners as well as the property manager when we had questions pop up! The creek that runs behind the house is such a peaceful sound to enjoy while sitting on the huge porch. LOVED the ginormous hot tub on the porch as well! I knew there wasn't a DVD library to choose from, and wish we had brought some from home to enjoy. This place truly forces you to disconnect from technology/distractions and dive into nature. It was a challenge for our teenager, but a great reminder that we CAN live without our phones for a bit! This place is exactly what you are looking for. Just book it!

Our visit overall was pleasing. I was disappointed to see that the property was missing sheets and mattress pads for the bunk beds and futons but after contacting the property manager, they quickly rectified the issue. Great value.

Overall our stay was enjoyable although we did have some issues with very small mammals. Owner assured us they would deal with them. Would recommend the home to families and groups.

Very relaxing and peaceful

It is a great property for a larger group. It's very picturesque overlooking a stream, there is lots of space to spread out and enjoy different activities. The owners communicate well and are very friendly. Definitely a great spot to stay in the smokies.

We had 12 guests, six of them between the ages of 6 and 12 who were mostly cut off from electronics yet we never heard “I’m bored”. The layout was absolutely perfect for our group and everyone had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay and the quiet, peaceful environment of the cabin.

I ruined my family's vacation by not reading the entire listing. There was no air conditioning so when you cook inside it gets rather hot in summer but not unbearable the downstairs stayed cool. There were no pets listed and I had my Yorkies with me. The owner immediately called me about the issue. They do have cameras on the driveway but after that everyone felt watched. All that my fault because it was listed. A very nice relaxing place to stay though grandson (6) enjoyed the creek in back.

The cabin is beautiful and spacious. The creek below is so nice to listen sitting on the peaceful wrap around porch. The listing is correct when it says you need 4 wheel drive and confidence driving on narrow roads. It worked for our group because we will leave in the morning to go out all day and hike then come back in the evening without a lot of out and back. We really enjoyed the cabin.

Very enjoyable weekend. The river next to the cabin was lovely. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit hot tub and indoor fireplace on the cold winter days. Everything worked well. It was just to get away my family needed.

Had a wonderful weekend! Went snow tubing, hiked, played in the snow, had fun in the hot tub and enjoyed playing ping pong. Lots of room for just hanging out. Well equipped kitchen. Marc kept us informed of the snow and what to expect.

We had a fantastic stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 12, including our 6 kids under 7. The views were beautiful!! Our people with Verizon had great cell phone service, but us with AT&T were out of luck. The road up to the cabin wasn’t bad at all. We would definitely stay again.

Would not consider 5 bedroom property but worked for our group but glad 9 didn't stay whole time.. game room was in converted garage and pool table was not in good shape or level. Was disappointing because several of us play pool in league together and table was almost unplayable

This spacious cabin was perfect for a fall weekend in the mountains

Great cabin just a bit off the beaten path for me.

Our entire family loved the cabin! The accommodations and facilities were great. The game room downstairs with the ping pong table, pool table, and soccer game provided lots of fun as well. The location was close enough to Gatlinburg and Cherokee that we could enjoy shopping, hiking, water tubing and rafting !
Thanks,

It was the perfect stay in the mountains with our family. Plenty of fun things to do at the house. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly imagine! Highly recommend whether you want to relax and do nothing or be adventurous outside in the stream!

We really enjoyed the house. It is stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our time together. The teens enjoyed being downstairs with the game room and a bit of privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook three meals a day. If you need ice just bring a bag up as the maker isn't working but that was no big deal for us. There are plenty of towels and linens. Make sure you follow directions and get there during daylight hours on the first day so you can get accustomed to the drive up. We had plenty of parking. Everyone enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the creek flow. Perfect for family and very affordable option so everyone can stay together.

The property was beautiful. The first ride from Hwy 19 to the cabin seemed long but we traveled down to visit Maggie Valley and Cherokee several days and the ride to and from the cabin was not bad at all. You just have to travel slow as the road is narrow. The sounds from the creek are so relaxing. There is a nice gravel walkway and stairs to the creek. Everything you could need is there at the cabin. Wonderful place to stay with family and make great memories.

An amazing mountain retreat! The cabin is clean, modern, spacious. The kids loved the game room. The property is secluded and beautiful with a rushing stream down a new gravel path. The hosts were easy to communicate with. I would definitely book this one again.

Cabin was spacious and affordable. Drive into the cabin was long and dusty. Area was mostly peaceful with the exception of 4 wheelers zooming by. Overall it was very enjoyable and the family had a great time.
4.6
Property was great. Only downfall is the road leading to it, which we were aware of before booking.
4.6
The house fit our needs perfectly. Everyone enjoyed our stay and we would book this house again in the future. We loved listening to the creek.
4.6
Remote location was great to get away and decompress. We enjoyed the scenery. The creek is nice. Short drive to Cherokee and Smokey Mountain NP.

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. Place was clean and well organized .

Enjoyed our stay. Very remote location but very good for relaxation and to just step back and recharge.

We met our son here for a thanksgiving visit. Due to Covid, his commanding officer wasn’t allowing their Marines to leave the state, so my wife and I packed up our other 7 teenagers and her Aunt for family photos and drove the 13 hours out from Kansas City. After the long drive we arrived just after dark. The check in process was painless and welcomed, the house was toasty warm and everything was right where it needed to be. There was even a spare propane bottle for the grill. Our group of 11 had nothing but good things to say about the cabin. The only remotely thing that went wrong was the water heater wasn’t heating on our last morning, so we just took showers when we got home, but the property manager had someone out there to look immediately. The property was absolutely wonderful, everything was very though through, clean, well maintained. The floor plan of the house worked for a large group, the games, fire pit and hot tub kept our 8 teenagers entertained the entire time. The local towns were nice and offered a full modern grocery store, ice cream shops, and some fun window shopping, the Cherokee gate of Smokey mountain national park was just up the road about 40 minutes and offered stunning views, waterfalls and a delight of picture opportunities. All and all this cabin scores a 15 on a scale of 1-10. Wonderful place, fantastic value and just an all around lovely place. It’s hard to make 8 teenagers happy, and your cabin did it the entire time we were there. The since staying there, we have decided not only will the pictures Aunt Donna took be this years Christmas cards, and two of our kiddos’s graduation photos- but we have decided to find a property and build a similar cabin closer to home. It was absolutely perfect. If you’re reading this, and on the fence- just click the button and book. You will not be disappointed- this is the magical cabin you’re looking for!

Wonderful vacation reunion with some classmates that haven’t seen for over 25 years. Cabin experience was great but some of the bunks were not in working order. Some of our expected guests canceled last minute and if they would have been able to come, we would have had a problem with sleeping arrangements. The bunks should be fixed or replaced or the sleeping capacity listed on the site should be reduced.
