Four fabulous weeks!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to rent this home!
Location is perfect! A short walk into the happening town of Killarney. Where you’ll find great pubs and shops!
Perfect location for a golf holiday. Ten minute drive to the Killarney courses. Centrally located to drive out to Tralee, Waterville, Ballybunion, Old Head, etc.
This home was well equipped and immaculate! We had guests coming and going during our four week stay. All were very pleased with the accommodations.
Eileen was available to offer assistance with whatever we needed...sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, also locating a driver to drive two of our guests to the Shannon airport.
We would not hesitate to rent this property again!

An ideal golf trip lodging
This was the perfect house for a golfing trip to the south west of Ireland. Located on the edge of the delightful town of Killarney, walking distance from the center of a town loaded with restaurants and hosting a constant music festival, the house was perfect for your favorite foursome. It has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Well furnished, with comfortable beds, the house sported a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, and a washer and drier for laundry. Couldn’t have been a better spot for playing all the great courses surrounding the Ring of Kerry.

Best House in Killarney
This house is so relaxing, warm and bright and the communication is excellent.
The property is in the best location in Killarney, as the house is quiet and just takes 4 minutes to walk to the centre.
I got such good service from everyone from the beginning of the enquiry until I moved out.

Great House and Location
We had six adults traveling and the house was awesome, the on-suite bathrooms were perfect and everyone had plenty of space. House is very modern with many creature comforts, wifi etc. Location is great, literally four minute walk to city center, maybe five if you don't hit the cross walk lights perfect. Check in and out were stress free, Eileen met us on check in and did a complete walk thru of the house, gave great suggestions on where to eat and left two fabulous bottles of wine. We recommend eating at Cronins (we did twice) because the food was so good and Killarney Brewery for a great pint and flatbread pizza. Type of house I would book again without hesitation. Mary and Eileen thank you for being such great hosts. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was such a beautiful home in Killarney!! The owner and property managers were exceptional.
If you are traveling to the beautiful Killarney you should definitely stay at this house. We enjoyed every moment. The house is perfect in every way. All the accommodations you would ever need . The owner and property managers made sure the house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and if we had any questions they answered or helped within seconds of the call. They even gave us directions to highlights we should see in the area. We feel so lucky to have had this time all together in such a perfect setting....thank you so much !!!!

A stunning property in a superb location!
This property, in an ideal location, was absolutely perfect for myself and my family so I would highly recommend it! The house, centrally situated on Muckross Road, is a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Killarney with great amenities (hotels, petrol station, shops, restaurants and the National Park) close by.
As I was getting married and lived abroad, I needed to rent a large property as my bridesmaids and family stayed with us. It was extremely clean, bright, peaceful and homely.
Mary and her family were incredibly helpful and supportive from first enquiry all the way through to check out. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was extremely comfortable. I certainly plan to return in the future!

Perfect House, Great Location
Our stay in Killarney was terrific. The house was beautiful...clean, beautifully equipped, great location. Mary and Eileen made us welcome, even left a nice goodie basket, which was so good. It is one of the best VRBO houses we have ever rented and will be telling our friends who visit Ireland about it.

A wonderful comfortable home in a terrific location.
The home is comfortable for four couples with quality appliances and a roomy kitchen. The location is walkable for all of Killarney and the park. Mary is a fine and helpful hostess. The cash security deposit is a bit inconvenient.

Awesome property!
There were 8 of us staying at Parkhaven and we had a great time in Killarney, and much of the reason was because of the house. It was clean, spacious and very well equipped. I also loved that it was only a 5 minute walk to town. We loved the area and we loved the house. Mary could not have been nicer. Her scones are delicious! Thanks Mary!

Wonderful Stay in Killarney!
We had the most wonderful 4 nights in Killarney thanks to Mary's home. I can't think of a better location to explore the Southwest part of Ireland. The town of Killarney is a 3 minute walk and you are a short walk or bike ride into the National Park. Mary is a warm and wonderful lady who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The house is very modern and with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, it is very spacious. 5 star stay. Thank you Mary!

Perfect location, Perfect home, Perfect vacation
We stayed at this beautiful home in Killarney while our daughter was dancing in the World Irish Dance competition at the INEC. This house is the perfect location for everything in city center. We walked from the train station to the house when we arrived, which was a quick 10-15 min walk. We could walk to city center in about 10 minutes. We walked to the INEC in about 15-20 mins. Can walk to the Jaunting Carriages in 10 mins to get a tour of the national park. This house is perfectly located and tucked away in a nice quiet drive. The house was immaculate, had plenty of room for a large family with kids, and had all the modern conveniences we could ever need during our stay.
Mary, her husband, and Eileen were perfect hosts. They worked with us before the stay and welcomed us with a warm welcome and gift. Eileen was so very helpful - she stopped over twice to see if we needed anything and to help us with directions and recommendations. When we were leaving, she helped us get train tickets back to Dublin and showed us the 'family fare' ticket which saved us a couple hundred euro for our return trip. She also helped us shuttle some luggage over. I cannot begin to thank them enough for making this an absolutely perfect holiday. We all missed the cozyness of the home while we were in Dublin and wanted to come back to Killarney!
Thank you very much for everything and I hope we have opportunities in the future to stay here again - I wouldn't even look for other accommodations.

Our Killarney Adventure
We, my husband and I, our daughter, two sons and two daughter in laws, arrived at the house and were immediately greeted and let into this fabulous home. After being given the tour of this beautiful home, which is spacious and spectacular, Eilleen asked about our family and what we wanted to see in the area. As we were enjoying a cup of tea together,(because Eileen and Mary had supplied us with some goodies) Eileen showed us many places to go to in the Killarney area which included restaurants, pubs, shops, and many sites of interest. Our favorite was the Dingle Peninsula, so beautiful! Our stay was most enjoyable and we were able to gather around the table and enjoy meals together, a fully equipped kitchen with very modern appliances made that possible. The town of Killarney is a five minute walk away, there are two grocers around the block, Killarney National Park just a ten minute walk away from this home. Lots of beauty in this country. Thank you Eileen and Mary for such a wonderful family time for us! We loved your place!!!!!!! The Minnettes from Indiana

Wow, this house has it all - great location one house lot off of Muckross, new and spacious!!!
This house has a great location one house lot off of Muckross and a 5 minute walk to Killarney town center and all it has to offer. My family of five spent five nights here and could have stayed longer with all that is within reach of the location. We recommend Cronins Restaurant (no relation) on Main Street. They offer great food, including many gluten free options, at great prices. We ate there four nights and were never disappointed. Make a reservation! Murphy's Ice Cream is a must and gluten free as well!
The house itself is beautiful - new and spacious. Four bedrooms and baths offered more room than we needed. Great kitchen / dining area.
Mary Barrett could not have been more accommodating. She let us move in a few hours early as this was our first stop after flying into Shannon. Greeted us with cupcakes and wine.
We cannot recommend this home enough. Hope to be back. The Cronin / Murray family.

Mary and her husband were as helpful as could be. Our group of four didn't arrive until after 8 pm, and we were very warmly welcomed and shown the property. The property is indeed just a five minute walk from downtown Killarney. (A big plus since there is thus no need for parking.) There are many, many pubs, cafes, and shops for your convenience. Killarney for our group was mainly a home base for a golfing trip, and it was perfectly situated. It was very easy to get in and out of town, and there are some late-night fish-and-chip places to eat for those getting home late. The house itself was clean, well-kept, and well-stocked. If and when we return to Killarney, I wouldn't even hesitate to stay at this house again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and everything was new, clean, and in working condition. We were met at the house and given a lot of time and guidance on things to do and places to go. The location of this house is central and walking distance away from downtown shops and restaurants. A fabulous place to stay!

We were so happy staying at the Barrett home. The home is extremely spacious, clean and has all the updates that makes a family feel comfortable on a trip. The location was so close to town, but also to the Park. We walked a lot of places which was great. This house was one of the highlights of our trip!

I stayed in this property over New Year's with friends. The house was so clean and everything was meticulous. It made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay for us all. Less than 2 minutes walk to the town! Thanks so much!

This was a wonderful experience and was hugely in contributing to one of the best vacations we have enjoyed in Ireland.
The house was immaculate when we arrived. The owner, Mary, met us and welcomed us to the house with complementary snacks, tea and coffee.
She was so very nice to us and did everything to help our enjoyment. Every facility that we could wish for was there, including WiFi.
It is only 5 minutes walk to Killarney town center - no worries driving!
I strongly recommend this experience to anyone.

This is the nicest home I have rented through Home Away. We were met at the house and given helpful hints and information about what to see and do in the area. They were 2 of the nicest ladies (and so helpful). The home is beautiful. It has everything you need for the perfect vacation or get-away. The beds are comfortable. I just can not say enough about this beautiful home. It is in a great location. We took a taxi from the airport and did not need a rental car. Everything is within walking distance. HIGHLY RECOMMEND both this owner and this house.
