About this house rental
Welcome to Coastline Cottage Fish Creek! With Breathtaking views across all of Wilson’s Promontory, the vista from the house also takes in the ocean, islands and Corner and Shallow Inlets. Gaze across rolling hills towards the Yanakie isthmus and you will see networks of South Gippsland’s fine farms with cows and sheep grazing just beyond the property’s fenceline. Delight in watching amazing sunsets and sunrises (and spectacular moon rises over the water of Corner Inlet if the timing of your stay is right!), watch the weather roll in across the ocean and witness the most incredible stars in the night sky!
We pride ourselves on providing you with a wonderful place to stay, in a setting that is both rustic and modern, with the attention to detail which will ensure you have a comfortable and easy stay!
The house is a gorgeous mud brick cottage with large exposed timber beams, polished concrete floors in the main living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. Bedroom number one has a queen size bed and access to the verandah. Bedroom two is a large room with two King single beds and its own living area. The sofa in this living area folds out to a quality double bed, providing sleeping for 1-2 more guests if required. Both bedrooms have a spacious feel, built in robes, quality 100% cotton bedlinen, doonas, pillow and electric blankets.
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality pots and pans, ample crockery, cutlery and glassware, along with a great selection of serving bowls and platters. A gas cooktop, electric oven and microwave are supplied, along with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger and stove-top espresso maker. There is even a blender and food processor if you’re feeling the need to cook up a storm, or, simply throw a snag on the BBQ on the verandah for ease!
Our lounge suite may be the most comfortable one you have ever sat in and will allow you to sit back and watch one of our well-selected DVD’s, listen to the varied assortment of CD’s, read one of our many books or just sit and listen to the abundant bird-life which come to enjoy the native garden! Enjoy the cool, ambient temperature of the house during the warmer months or snuggle up in front in the fire place in colder times-the house is gorgeous at any time of year.
The bathroom and laundry are well equipped and maintained, with shower over a full size bath, front loader washing machine, with shampoo, conditioner, body and hand washes, toilet paper, laundry detergent, air freshener all provided.
There is a front and back verandah with table and chairs allowing you to dine outside, gas BBQ, and garden seating for a quiet cup of tea looking out across the spectacular view.
The house is situated on our beautiful 5 acre property, completely private from the main house, with your own driveway entrance. You are free to wander out on to the hill, check out our chooks and stroll down the quiet dead-end road through a bush setting.

We spent a week with variable weather conditions in this lovely mud brick home with stunning views across South Gippsland to the Prom. Everything is supplied with generosity, the home is super comfy, large and easy. We relaxed and enjoyed getting to know the area. Bird life is amazing. The gorgeous dog visits were fabulous and we hope to come back. Swimming at Sandy Point was a highlight.

Fabulous. Well appointed and easy comfortable stay. I love it when the view from a property is understated. This one got a big "Wow!" when we laid eyes on it.

What a gorgeous property with an amazing view! Owners were very responsive and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Great selection of DVDs. The house is amazingly insulated from the weather being mudbrick. Lovely woodstove for the colder nights although we only needed to light it once and the house was warm enough for the rest of the week. Mudbrick also ensure we barely heard a sound from outside- very peaceful and quiet. We saw eagles and many birds. We didn't see another person. lovely property to explore. Be aware, closest decent shops are Foster so bear that in mind when planning food for trips / picnics to the Prom etc and buy the day before.
We were sad to be leaving... Thoroughly recommended!

Great views of the prom and Cool little native garden with frogs calling of an evening

The property profits from a superb location although heavily weather dependent. There is plenty of room within. As a couple we found it more than adequate. However, I’m not sure if the bathroom facilities could cope with more people. We found the bathroom to be damp and the smell permeated the rest of the house. Probably because there was no fan or extractor in there. We found the welcome to the property poor. Basically you are given the code to the key safe. This would be fine if there was a comprehensive welcome pack explaining basic things such as how the oven worked. We had to search the drawers for this. Stocks and equipment mentioned in the description were not there or were at a minimum. Overall we had a good time there. However we would advise people to go with all the provisions they think they might need and to research the area before going.

Cozy, comfy, quaint and charming, this Cottage with postcard views will take your breath away!!! I surprised my partner with a birthday trip to the amazing Wilsons Prom and I couldn't have been happier with my choice of this little piece of Paradise!!! We spent 3 blissful nights here and the only disappointment was having to leave! Mornings before our adventures spent with the lovely coffee kindly supplied looking out at the spectacular view, afternoons with a glass of brew again on the deck with the whistling birds and the music of Miles Davis drifting through.....nights spent on the comfy couch with Monopoly and a movie and most of all, a quiet pause, a moment shared in Paradise! I could not recommend it more to all seeking peace, adventure and a pit stop for the Soul! We will be back when time allows to stop again to enjoy !!! :) *Thankyou* :)

This property is perfect for a relaxing getaway in the middle of nature. We had plenty of wildlife sightings and even a couple visits from the family pet dog Skipper. It was a lovely and relaxing way to spend a week.

The photos don't do this property justice. It overlooks an absolutely beautiful view of Gippsland. We stayed with our 2 kids and they loved their room and the cows! Great proximity to the Prom too.

We loved everything about our stay! From stepping in and being amazed by wonderful views of Wilson's Prom, we had everything we need: cottage was very clean, spacious, comfy warm beds, best wood heater to keep us warm, milk & fresh eggs in the fridge - we would not have asked for more and truly enjoyed our stay!

Overall my stay at Sita's property was wonderful, the cottage itself is very spacious with beautiful views. Small touches like milk, coffee, olive oil and a well stocked kitchen goes a long way. My only disappointment was that the beds are very uncomfortable, other than that every other detail was perfect. If there were different beds I would book in here every year.
