Great location. Few minutes walk to the village and the bus stop
Parking is under trees where copious amounts of bird poo cover the cars every day.

Fantastic accommodation right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. Everything you might need was provided and the sofa and beds were really comfortable. Great to have secure parking too.
We had a big issue with the Rooks/Rookery in the trees above the car parking space (around 8 nests). After our 3 day stay, both cars were completely covered in birds poo. There is a real need for the owners to build a car-port or some kind of shelter so the cars stay clean. If its not possible to install some type of protection, maybe the owners could provide car covers?
Also I know this property is called Church View so you would expect to be next to the church (which was very pretty), but it was hard to have any bedroom windows open as during the week the church bells chimed every 15 minutes and dinged on the hour. I appreciate there is nothing the owners can do about this but if you are visiting its worth noting, and I would recommend bringing your ear plugs if you are easily disturbed during the night.

It is perfectly situated in the central area of the village, no traffic noise and the church clock, while audible, didn’t bother any of us. Quite handy, in fact!
The house is well fitted out and the garden gave our grandson plenty of room to run and chase both squirrels and the fat pigeons!
The underfloor heating was very pleasant, too!
The only thing we didn’t like was the parking position, which enabled all the birds to mess all over our cars! Not much an be done about that, though!

Loved the house and the location. Everything we needed
was in there and it smelled lovely and fresh as we walked in.
Garden was great for our two and a half year old grandson to play in with grandad!
The bird droppings from the birds in the trees above the parking spaces. The cars were covered every morning, and it was very difficult to clean off. Even I got covered one morning whilst getting in the car!

loved being next to the church and hearing the bells and the location was brilliant for accessing the Cotswolds and the town itself. it felt very safe and was nice and enclosed in a gated community.
It was quite expensive for what it was.

I was sent a new key safe number only to arrive and find out that it would not open. Called and was told because it was booked in my husband's name they would have to speak to him and give him a number. Whilst we were waiting I checked the number I had been given when the property was booked and lo and behold it opened the key safe and we were able to get into the property! It caused unnecessary stress at the beginning of our stay and after a long journey. Why say it had changed when it hadn't?
