About this chalet rental

This newly renovated home located in Mt.Holly Vermont in the town of Belmont, is minutes from Okemo and Jackson Gore ski resort. Home is also centrally located to additional mountains, Killington, Stratton, Bromley, and Magic MOuntain.

Sit in the living room in front of the pot belly stove, enjoying the fire and enjoying the beautiful serene mountain views. The home sits on 13 acres next to VAST trails(snow mobile trails), also with great land access for hunting and ATV trails. The home has 5 bedrooms plus a loft area that sleeps a total of 10-12 people comfortably. This home also boast brand new stone bathrooms with rain shower heads. This home also has two family rooms great for entertaining, and fooseball table on lower level for kids to enjoy, as well as outdoor fire pit with seated bench.

The house was very clean and spacious for two families of 9. Very convenient location to Okemo (less than 20-minute drive). Opening the (old-fashioned) lockbox initially was a bit of challenge though.

This home is in a great location, where you feel off the grid but are only 10 minutes from town. It is very spacious and you can tell the owners took a lot of pride and had attention to detail. The downstairs space was great for hanging out and playing games. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

We were three families and had a wonderful stay! The photos do not do the house justice - much prettier in person. Bathrooms are all newly and beautifully renovated and big! Kitchen and dining area work very well with many people. Only complaint was that the house does not have any extra blankets available. The quilts on the beds are lovely but thin so everyone was a little cold at night and there were no additional blankets available. Thanks for sharing your home!

Nice property, a bit isolated but 15-20 minute drive to Okemo. Rooms were clean, very easy in terms of getting in and getting out. Bathrooms and showers were updated, large basement area great for hanging out.

This place was truly incredible. Check in was easy and once we were in, we were taken back by the amount of space and amenities in the rental. Really made our weekend special!

Property was just as advertised. Great place for our party of 12, 6 adults 6 kids. Spent the day sledding with the sleds on the property, down a hill on the backside and the kids loved it. Property is far enough away from everything to feel secluded but close enough to town that everything you need is a short drive away. Great place overall!

The house was Perfect for our families ski trip to Okemo; just15 minutes to mountain. Host was very responsive and answered questions we had promptly. Only thing is - have to drive dirt road to get to property and if it snows/ice I would recommend having 4 wheel drive. Also, little to no sell cellular service available but Wi-Fi works just fine and the house provides a land line that can be used if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect for our group of twelve. The house was very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bathrooms were updated with beautiful showers, and the property location is so private and peaceful. We enjoyed the woostove in the living room and outdoor fire stove as well. Check in and communication with the host was very easy. We hope to stay here again in the future.

What an awesome space. Plenty of room for a large group. The kitchen was well stocked with pots / pans / mixing bowls. Wood stove was super cozy and kept us toasty all weekend. Big tv was ready to go with all your basic streaming services and WiFi worked great. 15 minutes from Okemo- skiing was a breeze. Make sure you don’t approach from Bowlseville road north! It’s not passable in the winter as we learned the hard way. Also bring your own soap / shampoo. Nothin there when we arrived. Plenty of linens though. We will come back for sure!

Perfect for extended families

The house has a terrific layout with a main floor master, a loft with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and a basement with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a playroom. Perfect for our party (grandparents and two families of four). The kitchen and bathrooms were nicely updated and the great room was a good place to congregate. The door on the steps to the walk-out basement was great because the little ones could go to sleep without noises from upstairs keeping them up. In addition, the owners were very responsive to inquiries, particularly as related to a storm whose arrival nearly affected our departure. My only minor complaint is that certain items weren’t stocked appropriately (very little dishwasher detergent, no soap/shampoo, and no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms). But overall, the house was terrific. We would definitely consider renting again.

This rental is perfect for two families, with separate activity spaces for adults/kids, but large enough dining living area for all. The house is warm in the winter and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again for another ski vacation.

My family of eight stayed for one week. We immediately felt at home because the house was warm, inviting and comfortable. Every bedroom was nice and comfortable. The 3 Full bathrooms were updated, clean and had great showers. We loved the open feel of the kitchen, living room and dining area. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive to all ours needs and concerns. They even went as far as buying a crib for our 21/2 year old. We would highly recommend planning your next Vermont getaway here.

Property was better than advertised, quiet road and beautiful deck! Would recommend for anyone to enjoy the vermont ski areas. Home was clean and well equipped for a large group. Newer gas grill was a plus!

Property was fine for large family group. Good access to Belmont and surroundings. Unfortunately it was hot and humid in Vermont during our stay and the ventilation in the upstairs bedrooms was not good. Windows in one bedroom would not open, making it stifling to sleep. Great kitchen and deck for large family meals.

The property was just fine. I rate it four and one half stars.The beds were comfortable. The family room was great. The kitchen was great, well stocked. Every thing worked in the house. The owner, Julie, was very helpful and responded quickly. When we arrived the outside chair cushions were out in the rain it took days to dry which was not a problem for us it rained on and off for three days. We keep the cushions inside to dry, so on the forth day some us were able to sit outside. I can't blame Julie for the weather. The reason why I did't give a rating of five stars is because the house could have been cleaned better before we arrived. Floors, dust, cobwebs, etc. The cleaning people should compliment the house and the owner with a better job. A word for Julie. The two upper bedrooms could use a wall A/C. They would make this almost perfect. All and All this vacation very good, I'm glad I stayed here. Thank You Julie. Nick Lieto

We had a great visit. Perfect for grandparents, with bedroom and bathroom on main level and space for families upstairs and downstairs. I was upstairs with my family and my brother was downstairs with his. Bathrooms on all floors. 20 minutes to okemo and a pretty drive. There is no cell reception in house but WiFi worked well. Would gladly stay again.

We stayed at this house for our foliage trip. Everything was great in this house except low water pressure but that did not bother to us as there were 2 more full bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again should I need to.
