This was our second time staying here. Very nice view. Good sized house. We had a nice long weekend with family. Could use a bit of updating, better mattresses, couch, pans in kitchen. The grill was brand new and very nice!

The house served our purposes. The access to the lake and low tide was great for our kids. Convenient location, close to other family members.

This was a cozy property and we all had a great time. The property had everything you needed. There is no beach which we didn’t realize but the water is so shallow in that area, it was a lot of fun!

The house was very clean and in a great location, close to town. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed having a fire under the stars and walking out to the sandbar during sunset. Our dogs loved playing in the shallow water and roaming the backyard which they did at ease with the partial fencing. Will definitely book again!

This is a wonderful cottage right on the sand bar at Houghton Lake. The cottage was perfect for our party of 6–my wife and I, our 2 year old and 4 year old, and my parents. We had a wonderful time relaxing and swimming. Our kids had a blast. Highly recommended!

On the water at Houghton Lake, felt right at home, entirely well-stocked & everything worked, it was a perfect 4 days! We drove around the entire lake & it seemed we were in the best location possible, private yet only a 2 or 3 minute drive to everything!

My brother, his son and I stayed here between 11/19/2022 and 11/23/2022 for a 4 day rest and to binge watch Yellowstone. The first morning we noticed it a little cold in the house and kept trying to turn it up but it wouldn't warm up. I was texting back and forth with the owner. She at first couldn't find anyone to call to come out and fix or look at it. So she ordered from Home Depot an electric fireplace heater for the front room until we could get it fixed. Here husband came in from his hunting trip to check things out and see what he could do. By then we had a furnace guy there and they let him do his thing. By the end of the evening we had heat and was comfortable the rest of our stay. She told us not to worry about being out right at 10am, to take our time. Plus she refunded our pet fee for the inconvenience of having to go pick up a heater and find a heating guy. (I just so happened to know a guy) So, great people to rent from. The house is right on the lake in Prudenville and was very clean and nice. I would stay here again, only maybe summer time next time.

This is a lovely property and the host is always helpful and responsive. We had a great time and the place had everything we needed (for cooking, relaxing on a rainy day, playing in the yard/lake). We used the bedroom with 2 beds for a pack n play for our little. It could have fit in the other rooms a bit but it would be tighter. A wonderful location, can't beat the lake and view, and a very nice property. Thank you for everything, can't wait to bring the family back in the future!

Houghton Lake Holiday
This home is a gem on the lake. The view is spectacular to be enjoyed from the yard or the sun porch. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. If I may suggest two additions, an ice cream scoop and some wine glasses would be welcome additions.
Check in and out was easy and efficient. There is plenty of seating on the patio, and a lovely table and chairs for six.
The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained although it wasn’t summer yet.
Communication with the contact was helpful. She even called our first evening to make sure all was well.

New Years stay
The cottage was nice and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware that the tv is an internet tv, no cable channels.. We streamed with no issues. Watched bowl games all week. It was great.

We’ll be back!
Great location and very clean home. Lake front not accessible to people in wheelchairs. Water was shallow which is great for children or just relaxing.
Neighbors were quiet. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Great location
There is a sand bar right in front of this house in which many pontoons gather, play music and hang out on nice days. The house is a nice size with a good layout.

It was Relaxing and wonderful Birthday Vacation
We felt very relaxed and comfortable with the house and view of the lake. We were there for my 55th Birthday and it was a great vacation. However, my husband is a lawn person and on arrival the grass was very long, we contacted the owner and they came to cut it within a few hours. Besides the lawn every thing else was spectacular.

Great property!
We loved this rental. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Only suggestions we would have are to add a few barstools to the kitchen peninsula and smaller dining chairs so they could scoot in. Thank you for the rental! We would rent again!

Relaxing vacation
My husband and I just needed to get away from an extended weekend. I love the set up of the house so we could sit in the back and watch the lake while we relaxed. Everything was clean and exactly as represented online.

Nice property, good location
Overall our stay was good. My elderly parents arrived before me at 6pm, and had some confusion on accessing the property. We initially had difficulty getting ahold of the guest contact to help them, despite multiple phone calls and a few text messages. I contacted Evolve, and the guest contact finally returned our calls around 1130 pm, stating we had not called her and she only received a text message. However, the was resolved and we had pleasant stay. Overall we were happy with our stay, but quite disappointed In our interactions with the guest contact.

Nice lakefront home
Nice place!! but it needs a deep cleaning! Master bedroom smells like urine and pillows were flat with yellow stains on them. Plus never rented a home where I had to take my trash home with me. Otherwise great home!! I would rent it again.

August 2020
We had a wonderful weekend!! The rental had everything we needed and was very clean. The location was located on a sandbar which was great for the kids to swim. I didn't have to worry about them wading into deep water. We really liked the spacious porch with futon that faced the lake. Gave us extra play space with a great view.

Relaxing Vacation Getaway!
Our family had an amazing getaway at this property. It was a perfect size for our group of 5 which included 2 toddlers. The water was just as advertised - perfect for relaxing and letting the kids play all day in the shallow depth. The property is close enough to everything you would need in the city and was well stocked with the essentials. The property owner was also great at communicating. We loved our time here and would definitely consider returning.

Great value
Rented for an ice fishing trip for 6 people. Front living space large enough and great to hold our wearable gear and electronics, house big enough to be comfortable for us too. Easy to get on the ice from the rear of the home with wheelers, garage would be awesome to have access to so wheelers could be plugged in and out of the elements. Only thing I would say is one towel per person, pack more if needed. Still, highly recommend and would stay again!

I would definitely recommend this property!!
Came for ice fishing with family. Right on the lake, house was clean and well stocked. We want to come back in the summer!! Its close to everything and has the great lake view.
