Published base rates include bedroom areas #1 thru #5 and 14 people max. Bedrooms #6 and #7 can be added for $50 per bedroom per night, and must be rented for your entire stay. Our luxurious full-log lodge overlooks beautiful Little St. Germain Lake and is a secluded masterpiece, yet we are located 1 block off the Bo-Boen Snowmobile and ATV/UTV Trails. Relax in the seclusion of this private hideaway and enjoy sunset views, swimming, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, and much more.
From the comfort of your expansive deck and fire pit area watch stunning sunsets, soaring eagles, listen to the loons, and feed the friendly deer that stop by for a snack on almost a daily basis.
Newly finished lower level in 2021 added 3 new bedrooms, another full bathroom and a large rec. room/TV room with a big screen smart tv, ping pong table, and plenty of seating to watch the big game.

Upon entering the expansive foyer and great room area you will notice 4,200 square feet of tasteful Northwood's décor, making you feel relaxed and at home. The first-floor master has 1 king bed, and bedroom #2 on the first floor has 2 queen beds. The huge upstairs floor has a private bedroom with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, and 1 queen bed in the open loft area. The newly finished lower level (2021) has bedrooms #5, #6, and #7 with a queen bed in each bedroom. Base rates include bedroom areas #1-#5. Bedrooms #6 and #7 can be added for $50 per night per bedroom. There are three spacious full bathrooms, one on each floor. Sit down dining space if available for 14 people with a beautiful custom made, live edge hickory table that seats 8 in the dining area, and a large granite island that seats 6 additional people in the kitchen. Or dine outside on the huge composite deck that has tons of space for your family and guests.
Little St. Germain Lake is far from little, offering nearly 1000 acres of:

Our lodge is located on a quiet bay with tons of privacy. We are only 5 minutes from St. Germain, 18 miles from Minocqua and 12 miles from Eagle River with many outstanding supper clubs, Northwoods taverns, summer flea markets, bike trails, ATV and UTV trails and snowmobile trails located minutes away. In fact, the Bo-Boen trail is only a block from our property, providing 100's of miles of snowmobile and ATV/UTV trails to explore.
This impressive lodge has never been offered for rent until now. Bookings for summer weeks (Saturday - Saturday) are available in June, July and August. Snowmobilers and winter/fall guests can book now, with a 3 night minimum.

We enjoyed quality family time in a beautiful and spacious cabin. This week is the highlight of our summer each year. There are so many things to do onsite and in the surrounding area. It is truly a cabin we look forward to returning to.

Fantastic house. 5 day visit for 10 adult family members. Plenty of room. Well stocked with supplies. Great view of lake from porch, yard, or dock. Eagles and Loons! We all want to come back next year.

Our family of five enjoyed spending time at the Blang cabin. Due to this years lack of snow - no ice fishing or snow shoeing- we spent most of our time inside, playing games, putting together puzzles and of course, eating!
The kitchen is well stocked with cookwares and the appliances all work nicely. The beds are comfortable and plenty of room to spread out!
The location is excellent, easy drives to St. Germain, Minocqua and Eagle River. And even tho there was no snow, it is a beautiful property and area to walk about!

Beautiful log cabin on a lake in the woods. All rooms very spacious with a magnificent deck overlooking the lake. Eagles flying above and deer up close and personal seeking food. Host was extremely attentive to answer any and all questions. Would definitely rent this VRBO again.

The lodge was beautiful, well stocked and clean. Everyone loved the beds and the privacy was outstanding. Was really cool to see the neighborhood dear feeding in the yard day and night. We saw ducks, loons and a bald eagle was fishing by our dock. We loved the pontoon boat which was like in new condition. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great week of weather.

So many memories were created here. The house was very clean, ample parking and the accomodations (ping pong table, 3 floors, washer and dryer, large bedrooms, 2 refrigerators and feeding the deer by hand!) We had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at this cabin! It fit our large family perfectly, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor space was stunning! We had a blast exploring the lake on the pontoon boat and visiting the islands for fun day trips. The amount of eagles we saw on the lake was incredible. There was even an eagle nest just to the right of the property with a young eaglet! I’d highly recommended this cabin for a family get together!

This home was perfect! It’s everything it says it is and then some. We enjoyed every inch of this house including the bonfire pit. Darin was always available and ready for any help we needed. Definitely coming back

If you are traveling with multiple families or couples and are debating on whether you need this much space, you do. This was the 5th year we rented a house for a week with 6 couples and 5 kids under 5 (plus one more couple and 2 more kids for 2 nights), and this year there was the least amount of complaining, which we all credit to this house and all of it's space. There was room for everyone to actually sit around the TV or fire outside and enjoy dinner together in the kitchen. The weather was not that warm for swimming and we think it was a bit mucky at the lake for our small kids, but it was perfect with hardly seeing any mosquitos. We enjoyed the pontoon and kayaks, but especially the deck which was large enough to have the kids run around on, but also sneak off to one side if you wanted to not be seen.
A couple of notes: the stairs going down to the dock are very nice and maintained but don't have a railing. The wind comes straight towards the house and if it's not too hot, I recommend opening both patio doors to catch the breeze, but when kayaking across the bay it does get a little tricky. The stairs going up to the second floor are beautiful, but you need to take extra care and we had stern rules for when our children went on them. There isn't a public beach on Little St. Germain, but there is a perfect one for little kids in Eagle River on Silver Lake which I highly recommend.

This property is ideal for a family vacation. Beautiful view of the lake and great accommodations. We plan to make this an annual vacation with our family that has now grown to 12.

Wonderful Lakehome
We recently stayed at Blang's Tall Pines Lodge with a large group for our extended family vacation. The home was beautiful, clean, large enough to spread out, had very comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the lake. We really enjoyed the kayaks, SUP and firepit overlooking the lake as well. Darin (the owner) was easy and quick to communicate with. Only feedback we'd have is that the stairs to the upstairs loft were a bit of a hazard for the four small children in our group and the basement bedrooms get pretty cold when the air conditioning is turned on. Not deal breakers for us, we would definitely rent again, just something to consider.

Great Winter Getaway!
I booked this house for our annual snowmobile trip and it didn't disappoint! Darin, the owner, was a pleasure to work with in booking the house, as well as the duration of our stay. Checking in and out of the property was a breeze! There was plenty of room for all us, including the newly renovated basement, boasting 3 nice size bedrooms, ping pong table, dart board, huge flat screen tv, and sectional recliners!
The whole house was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and servingware. Parking was sufficient for our 3 vehicles, although I would advise a 4WD or AWD vehicle when pulling up the hilly driveway (A 2WD vehicle may struggle without momentum).
The outside temperature dropped to -17 on our second night and you could feel a slight draft from the front and patio doors, especially in the main floor king room. You'll want to bring some extra blankets if you're a "warm" sleeper!
All in all Darin's place is 5 stars! I'd definitely rent here again as the location is prime for snowmobile trails as well as lakefront!

Beautiful lodge and location
We had a wonderful vacation at Blang’s Tall Pines Lodge. The lodge was immaculately clean, spacious and well-equipped. The location was perfect, lots of trees, very peaceful and a beautiful lake view. We saw lots of deer, eagles, blue jays and woodpeckers. We really enjoyed watching the deer come to eat corn from the feeding stump. We also enjoyed going out on the lake on the pontoon boat. We definitely hope to return.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our family of 10. Great location on the lake, beautiful sunsets and large deck to view the lake . The home is very well maintained and being able to rent the pontoon was a big plus.

Incredible home for rest and relaxation
The property is beautifully serene. The home is stunning and well appointed. It has the best fireplace of any cabin we have stayed in. Comfy beds and everything you would need. As we sat outside we had daily visits from several deer. And a beautiful bluebird visited every morning. We saw an eagle on several occasions too. Probably the nicest cabin of the many we have stayed in over the years.

Listing of cabin is very accurate. Cabin was nice. Clean. Comfy beds. Accidentally met owner on our way out due to car trouble and he was more than accommodating. Super nice guy. We will rent here again.
