This house was perfect for family Meals, an easy 10 minute walk to short sands and down town york. The kitchens were beautiful with very nice utensils/ dishes and a clean open space. The art on the wall is actually the owners and adds a personal and artistic touch. Definitely would rent again!

Location was great. We walked to Short Sands daily, including walking with preschoolers.
Yard was great, we used the deck daily for meals and the yard for playing and the firepit for s'mores.
The new kitchen was lovely with the tall ceilings and workspaces. The art on the walls was amazing.
York has many excellent restaurant choices within easy driving distance.
Furniture was humble. The older side needed a fresh coat of paint. The inbetween bedrooms were sad...., what were those square things on the wall side? Walking thru bedrooms was uncomfortable.
Plug in new kitchen didn't work, nor reset, the one by the stove.

Definitely would rent here again

The location of the house was great - it was at the end of a cul de sac so very quiet and private. Distance to beach was perfect, quarter mile walk on a quiet side street. Communication with Mark was easy. There was a slight problem with a dishwasher when we got there that wasn’t really impacting us and someone came to fix it the next day.
The house had plenty of room for our group of ten. The only improvement I could see is an update to the queen beds. They’re pretty squeaky and a little uncomfortable. All in all a great stay!

We had a great week in York. The location was great about 8 minutes to the beach. The house had plenty of beds to accommodate our large family. It has a big deck that we used several times to eat and hangout as well as a fire pit and a good size yard which was great for our grandchildren.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The home is huge, in a relatively private location, has a pretty good sized yard, and the beach was about a 5 minute walk away through a back street with really low traffic.

Mark and Colette are great to work with. They answered all our questions quickly. The first night the central air leaked all over and they had a repairman there the next day. The week we stayed it was very hot, 90 degrees. the house had either a fan or air conditioner in each room and it was cool. I slept very well. The decor is welcoming and comfy. We especially liked the Alice in Wonderland dinning room. The best thing is, there is laundry in 2 of the bathrooms. We have rented before and didnt have this convenience. Thank you Mark and Colette for the use of you great home.
Sue and family.

What a wonderful place! Spacious and private. Loved being at the end of the cul-De-sac. Coming back next year!

Beautiful house, 10 minute walk to the beach. Fantastic set up for a family vacation. The house easily accommodated eight adults and four grandchildren. The house is well-maintained and has all the accommodations you could wish for. We also found it easy to have lunch in town after a short walk off the beach.

I visited this property with four friends in late May/early June. We can't say enough how wonderful our stay was!! You really are getting two houses in one and that allowed us enough space to move around comfortably! The houses were very well maintained and very spacious (we couldn't stop raving about the tasteful, homey decor and huge bathrooms). It really felt like home away from home.
We loved being walking distance from the beach and downtown area where you can find lots of restaurants and activities!
Colette and Mark were great to work with-very responsive and very thorough in providing necessary logistics to make our stay wonderful.
We can't wait to visit again!!

We have loved coming to this beautiful home for the past two summers and have already booked a week in 2018. We love that it's a pretty 2-minute, easy walk to Short Sands beach and it's so relaxing to walk back home and enjoy the serenity of the large deck and the lush back yard. Lots to do -- and places to eat -- in the York area for kids and parents. Plenty of nice bedrooms and bathrooms so we're not tripping over each other. Our grandkids call it 'our special summer house' and we can't imagine vacationing anywhere else.

We stayed at Collette's place in early August this year. We were fortunate to have great weather. I was leery of renting a place online but the place was exactly as described. Immaculate and well maintained. We were a group of 7 and had plenty of space. I would highly recommend renting. Downtown was walking distance.

We loved this vacation home and have reserved it for next year. The house is close to the beach, yet far enough away from the crowds. We enjoyed the beautiful yard and the whimsical gardens. The house is tastefully decorated, very comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed our dinners on the deck and felt at home. We enjoyed a quiet week yet were able to walk to the beach and to downtown whenever we chose. Everything was just as Mark and Colette promised.
