Experience the charm of York ME in this Ocean Front 6 bedroom home with spectacular Ocean views located on 55 Ocean Ave Ext. Steps to Short Sands Beach and the quaint center of York Maine. Also, a Short Drive to Long Sands Beach. Our home has 6 bedrooms, three full Baths, gorgeous kitchen with all the amenities needed for an amazing vacation, not to mention Upper and Lower Decks for reading sunbathing, cocktails and tons more fun. We also offer cliff-side Adirondack chairs , a large picnic table and a fire pit just across from the front porch.

Our extended family gathered here from Montana, NH, Vermont, and MA for our biannual reunion and this home was the perfect setting. House was spacious and sparkly clean upon arrival. Our favorite spot was the front porch with the great chairs to view the ocean and listen to the waves crashing . Location was excellent for walks to Nubble Lighthouse, Long Sands, and Short Sands and to get ice cream treats. Beach chairs and other equipment such as wagon were greatly appreciated. This home was voted the best of the 7 we have tried from coast to coast. We would love to go back again and make more memories. We highly recommend it.

We were in relaxation mode the moment we arrived and walked straight through the house to the spacious front porch over looking the ocean. Every morning was spent on that porch drinking coffee while watching all the walkers put us to shame. However, four children ages 2-6 kept us from too much sitting. Our group of twelve made daily trips to the beach or town using the provided wagons and beach chairs which made it a breeze. This house is well appointed for all of your needs. It never once felt crowded. The hosts are right to take pride in their clean, comfortable, beautiful home! We hade a wonderful vacation and everyone hopes we will be able make this an annual family gathering. Thank you, thank you Sheri and Phil!

My family - 4 siblings, in-laws and out-laws spent four days in immeasurable style and comfort at this lovely home! This was our first gathering since the pandemic and everyone came from several states. We spent a lot of time on the porch and down by the ocean visiting, soaking up the sun, and simply having a wonderful time together. We cooked magnificent meals together in this wonderful, spacious and totally equipped kitchen, slept to the ocean breeze and sound of the buoys out in the ocean. Everything was superb, comfortable and the space allowed sufficient room for us to spread up in small dyads or gather as a whole clan at the large dining table! This home is fully appointed, beautifully and comfortably. We highly recommend this absolutely wonderful home and our gracious hosts, Sheri and Phil. It was magical!

This house is very bright and welcoming, due to a whole wall of windows and sliding doors overlooking the Atlantic . There were many comfortable areas for all nine of us to share meals, conversations, football games, and yet, numerous quiet spots, too. This is truly a treasured home by the owners, and it shows: Space galore! Well-equipment kitchen! Gorgeous hydrangeas in full blue bloom! And it’s close to nice walks and biking to the beach and Nubble lighthouse. We totally enjoyed our time there.

This was the nicest rental that I have ever had! The views of the bay from the front porch were amazing. We said many times over the weekend how lucky we were to stay here and enjoy this incredible view. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance and kitchen tool that we would ever need. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for our large family. The neighborhood was great as we enjoyed walks to town and the lighthouse. I would highly recommend this property! The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Our multi-generational family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful beach house! The owners provide everything needed to make you feel at home. The property is conveniently located within walking distance to town, beaches and Nubble Lighthouse. It is only a short drive to neighboring coastal areas. The large house on the water was the perfect spot for a reunion with old college friends. The house was fully equipped and impeccably clean. The open first floor kitchen/dining room/living room was perfect for visiting. The dining room table had chairs for ten and could have accommodated more if necessary.

The entire process was easy and transparent. Hosts were incredible to work with. All 8 of us were completely satisfied (and beyond) with ever aspect of the home and the experience. We can’t afford to do this very often but we all vowed we will be back! I have heard nothing but good comments since the moment we arrived and none of us wanted to leave for home-we had such a great time!! Absolutely recommend this property as well as the hosts. CLEAN, convenient, comfortable, cozy and perfect location. Cannot say enough! We will be back!!

What can one say other than fabulous!! This house had plenty of room for 10 women who get together every year somewhere different. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need it was comfortable and the views from the porch were our favorite thing about the house. Some of us are looking into coming back with our families someday you won’t be disappointed in renting this house. Sheri and Phil were very easy to work And the neighbors next-door were very kind.

We have stayed at Sheri and Phil's beautiful home the past 3-4 years and every year they make improvements! Renovated bathrooms and wonderful new high deck chairs! We absolutely love the location which is a short walk to Short Sands beach and less than a mile walk to Long Sands beach and the Nubble Lighthouse. Sheri and Phil provide everything you could possibly need from beach chairs, wagon, umbrellas to two refrigerator/freezers and an ice maker. We have a fairly large group, so going to restaurants can be difficult. We end up cooking in a lot and the kitchen has everything we need and the grill is wonderful. Our whole family looks forward to our stay every year and can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time at Sheri & Phil’s home. Fourteen of us stayed, ranging in age from 7-75, and it was comfortable for all of us. The home is spacious with lots of places to sit and relax. The kitchen has everything you need to make large family meals and the massive dining table allowed us to enjoy meals sitting together. The beds are comfy and comfortably slept all of us. The outside is beautiful. Enjoying morning coffee while sitting on an Adirondack chair overlooking the ocean is the perfect way to start your day. The short walk to the beach and town provided options for how to spend our days - sitting in the sun or shopping. York holds a special place in my seventy-five year old Mom’s heart, and having our family all together to enjoy York again was so very special. Thank you Sheri & Phil for the wonderful accommodations and for being so responsive to our questions. We will be back!!

What a fabulous place to celebrate a 60th birthday! We lucked out with an absolutely beautiful day, unexpected in mid-May. Perfect location to walk to the beach. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water was so calming. The house was very well stocked and lacked nothing as we enjoyed a traditional Maine lobster dinner with amazing views. Can't thank you enough, Sheri and Phil, for sharing your beautiful home with our group.

The space, the location and the amenities worked wonderfully for our family. From ages 19 to 74, we all had a great time. Grandkids had a classic exposure to New England, from balmy to windy and cold, lobster and ice cream, lighthouse and classic architecture. Great memories were made.

This home has everything you need. Not only is it beautifully decorated and fully furnished, it’s in a prime location. The owners were also very responsive to any questions we had. My family and I have been vacationing in York Beach for the last 22 years and this is about the best home we have rented thus for. Using VRBO was easy as well. We hope to return next year.

This time away did not disappoint. The location was perfect, walking distance to the lighthouse, beach and town. The house itself was super clean, and plenty of space for all 8 of us to have our privacy and lots of communal space to enjoy, and of course the ocean view is stunning!
