About this house rental

The Hatchery House is a one level home with spacious deck. It also hosts a large outdoor patio area with built in fireplace. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's location is close to the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery and Sleeping Lady Resort and Snowy Owl Theater. When staying at the Hatchery House you are centrally located for many unforgettable experiences from hiking to theater to just strolling through the streets of Leavenworth. It is 2.5 miles from downtown Leavenworth which offers many dining, shopping and wine tasting options. The Icicle Road area is full of recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, rock climbing and the Icicle Gorge Trail.
We are in a quiet neighborhood and look forward to sharing our home with guests who value a family atmosphere. If you are looking for a party place, we suggest you look into other accommodations. A friendly reminder that we do NOT allow pets.

We stayed here to hike in the area and this was PERFECT. Excellent location in proximity to hikes, very clean & tidy. Went above and beyond with little details, and supplies available. Lots of supplies for laundry, even had tasty Leavenworth coffee available, local soap in the bathroom, significantly better than a hotel stay. Clearly the hosts are very hospitable and take pride in offering an excellent experience. Would absolutely stay again.

It had been 8 years since our family has gotten to come back to spend time with family, this VRBO was just what we were looking for to enjoy some time in Leavenworth before heading to our cabin in Chelan. Beautiful home with every single amenity you could possibly need. Great location and superb host!!

This place is amazing and has everything you need to enjoy a getaway with friends and family! Clean, very well stocked, a beautiful property and perfect location. Just out of town to feel away from it all but close to everything you’d want to see in Leavenworth. We would definitely come back!

The house was perfect! The host thought of everything! Beautiful, clean& cozy furnishings, Gorgeous decor and a Christmas tree! The house had literally everything we needed! And a delicious welcome gift of fudge! It snowed over 13 inches overnight, and they were there plowing the driveway for us and we didn’t even ask! The Hatchery house is located just a quick drive to the village and to be honest a perfect distance to get away from the crowds and relax. When we come back we definitely will stay longer than 2 nights to enjoy this magical place!

My husband, son, and two friends stayed at Margaret's beautifully appointed home. The location of downtown Leavenworth is incredibly convenient. Margaret's home is set up for the ultimate relaxation getaway with two indoor fireplaces, luxurious finishings, and a hot tub. Hatchery House is one of the best properties I've ever stayed in. The small play area and toys for my son were a great surprise and a BIG hit for our 2-year-old. The local wildlife that surrounds the property and the breathtaking views help one feel fully submersed in nature. Communication with Margaret was easy and quick. We all are already looking for a reason to come back.

Margaret's place is incredible! Our group of 5 traveled to Leavenworth to do the Enchantments thru-hike and this place was a fantastic home base. It was well stocked with great amenities and close to the Enchantments trailhead (5 minutes to Snow Lakes and 25 minutes to Colchuk/Stuart Lake). On top of that, a member of our group left their wallet at the house and Margaret was kind enough to search for it and ship it back to us in Seattle. Will visit again!

Margaret’s place is always clean, welcoming, and perfect for our annual weekend getaway. We love the location because of its proximity to town, trailheads, and Icicle Creek. Margaret is easy to communicate with and even leaves a welcome basket of food in the refrigerator.

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife and two teenage children. The property is located 3mi/5km or ~8min drive from the main Leavenworth downtown area. We could access the property via a digital door lock which was very convenient, it was clean, spacious, had nice cool air-con (it was a hot weekend!), fast wifi and also a bunch of sport/fun equipment to play with like basketball hoop, frisbees, corn hole, etc which was nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the property and would stay there again.

One of the best equipped properties we have every stayed with. The outdoor space was a little industrial with all the asphalt and large steel shed next door still the very large trees and manicured lawn were a delight in the hot sun. Most of our family time was spent out side in this space. Dinners on the deck, card games near the outdoor fireplace, and frisbee in the cool grass.

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location, and the comfort of all the clean, comprehensive and well labeled amenities. We enjoyed using all the fun activities such as the hot tub, and outdoor fireplace. There was already chopped wood and lighters to help get us started! A gem of a find in Leavenworth.

The host has done everything to make guests feel welcome and the attention to details and quality of the items at the this vacation home are astounding. We were two couples in our 50s enjoying a long holiday weekend at the Hatchery house. Close access to the Sleeping Lady Resort and Icicle Creek XC ski trails was an added bonus. This house is close enough to Leavenworth to easily get take-out and get the Bavarian town experience, but then you can come back to a quiet neighborhood for rest and relaxation. Hope to return!

This is a great spot with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Margaret adds extra touches that elevate the experience, surprising us with snacks on our arrival and there were toys for the kids to play with as well. Hot Tub is private, clean and cozy. Short drive into Leavenworth, and close to outdoor adventures - XC ski or snowshoe. Wonderful spot and Margaret is a kind and generous host! Hope to be back here!

Beautifully appointed home, cozy, clean, close to town (10 min drive). We came to Leavenworth for the Bavarian Christmas but really enjoyed staying at home more- hot tub, fire pit, movies and games were all provided. Perfect for my parents to join us and our kids for Thanksgiving. The kitchen had every utensil and dish we could need, condiments in the fridge, hair dryer, extra towels, washer and dryer, extra fridge, s’more makings, car ice scraper, Christmas decorations, and kid Lincoln Log toys and sleds to borrow! Fish hatchery was within walking distance, great visitor center. Great walking trails at the fish hatchery. And a herd of deer even came through the yard, and we watched them from the living room window. It was the perfect getaway.

This house has been everything I could dream of and more! To start with I love how clean and spotless everything was, how great condition everything is and how well designed all rooms are ! The kitchen is filled with all you need ! Location is fantastic, surrounded by mountains this house is pleasantly located in a quiet area couple of minutes from Leavenworth main street I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Leavenworth area !

We loved staying at Hatchery House. The location is amazing if you like hiking and nature. The beds are great; there is plenty of space; and it is very well equipped. There is everything you need. We did quite a bit of cooking and really appreciated all the amenities. The place is nicer than it looks in the photos.
