Lovely accomodation but the area and parking problems let it down

The property was really lovely and really clean there was no shortage of crockery etc The rooms were large and spacious

The parking was horrendous we had to drive around for a long time looking for somewhere to park all the streets are full of cars and we had to park 15 minutes away from the property The area was hire run down as well so we were constantly worried about our car as it was parked so far away

Perfect base for a group of friends visiting Southsea. Clean, spacious and beautifully furnished.

Beautifully furnished, clean and well laid out. Parking was no problem with permits supplied, 20 min easy walk to the sea front attractions - will definitely come again.

Everything was brilliant. So clean, luxurious, well thought through. It was a pleasure to stay there.

It was gorgeous, so spacious, so clean and had everything we would have ever needed, it was exceptional.

The only flaw was the stairs to the first floor was very steep which made me nervous with the toddlers and my 75 year old dad.

A very pleasant week

The house offered all the facilities we wanted, We used every room and the garden

The showers needed attention - there was very poor flow and it was hard to regulate the temperature. The staircase from Ground to 1st floor was very steep - this was not shown in the spec. It proved difficult for us with bad knees and no downstairs loo. We thought the house was nearer the beach from the spec.

Good townhouse for family vacation.

Central location in Southsea area of Portsmouth. A little dark at night but close to shops. About 30 mins to Gunwharf Quays. The house was very clean and all worked fine, some minor remarks. Good response time from letting agency when we had questions.

A little nicer back garden. TV did not work so well (many channels did not show). No toilet on ground floor.

the whole booking experience was a nightmare! I regularly book my staff into accommodation and the requirement to sign a rental agreement, upload id, and send a deposit was an absolute nightmare.I won’t be booking our team in there again. bearing in mind it was only a 2 night stay a cleaning charge of £160 was outrageous, especially on top of the £250 deposit. the property was great the experience was dreadful.

the workmen in the adjacent building began drilling at 8 on day one. however the owner quickly dealt with the situation and it didn't happen thereafter.

A hidden Gem!

Our stay was amazing! The house is so clean, so well maintained and had everything we could have needed and more. This was our 2nd time staying at Harold House and it never disappoints. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to stay again soon!

Kitchen area was very good and the cleanliness of the house throughout was excellent

The staircase is steep and narrow so be mindful if you have older friends staying. Seating in the main lounge was limited to have everyone in the same area more than 5 people means you have to sit apart.

There is a travel cot prepared for young baby.

It is very hot on the top floor.
