The garden is great and the kitchen full with cooking materials.
Two toilets in a house.

Too many very long and duplicate emails as it is managed via a second party
4.5
Location close to shops, cafes etc, also free parking for a visitor, spacious main area.
Contradictory booking instructions and requirements.
Maintenance, shower mixer tap came off in hand, toilet seat not fitted properly, other bathroom had loose tap, courtyard garden dead from lack of water, but the biggest issue was the air-conditioning filters were so clogged with dust that it didn't work, no comfort on a 38 degree day!
Cleanliness : Shower base was dirty with mould that had obviously been there a while. So much for the cleaning fees charged each stay.
4.5
Nice space, simple decor and everything we needed. Comfortable beds
It wasn't easy to follow the key instructions for first access - a lot of information was sent and the info for collecting the keys was buried in it. The apartment needs more pillows in the second bedroom and cushions on the sofa.

If I was to get the lock box at 5 ft 2 inches I wouldn't have reached it all and not sure what I would have done
Luckily my husband is taller then me
The apartment is well appointed but I did send about 12 points for consideration to the hosts
IE There was no small kitchen knife
There was only 1 very large carving style knife which is very damaged on its edge This style knife is far to big for me to use with ease Dozens of chopsticks and other kitchen utilities, almost too much but kitchen knives were not forthcoming
I was offered that I could buy one and they would reimburse me but i only received that message a day before we were going to leave so didnt do that I d already had to buy a lot of essentials to make our stay comfortable
Ive already mentioned the knife but the wifi was almost never usable We had to keep trying to reset every time we wanted to go online It was very frustrating and when I told the hosts they did check with their provider who said everything looked ok at their end , but nether the less we did not have regular access to wifi
The windows are filthy as are the window and door ledges and runners The outdoor courtyard is a great treat but most of the plants are dead, and there are cobwebs everywhere The cleaners need to spend some time cleaning that area up Its part of what you pay for. We were shocked on Monday when the neighbour spent from 1.00pm to 6.00pm sanding his timber deck It was so loud our windows were shaking and I felt that at the very least he could have notified us that this was going to happen and maybe we could have planned our day in a different way As it was we wanted to rest, we are almost 80 and did have busy days and the fact this went on for so long was not appreciated There is all this notification about noise but the hosts said they weren't in the position to do anything about the situation.I felt body corp should have been notified You are sharing walls and a building, it makes sense to let neighbours on the same level know what might disturb them
Considering the apartment is in Melb which has terrible weather there is no dryer and we were able to use the dryer rack in the sun but that was just pure luck We could have been there when every day was overcast or wet
Drying the towels on the rack left them rough like sandpaper Not very soft and cuddly at all
Personally the hosts need to actually visit the apartment and check it out for themselves from time to time

modern and well equipped and clean
not much to complain about. would have liked a dryer if I have to find something.

position, 2 bed x 2 bath

The location is very convenient for walking to cafes, shopping and catching public transport. It's only a short drive to the bay area for walks and more shopping. We would stay again in this comfortable and well appointed unit which.
The kitchen had everything apart from a cloth to wipe the bench tops. We like to leave a place as we find it.
4.5
Ideally situated and modern finishes.
Noisy unit at the entrance of the building, the building entrance door could be heard all night. Impersonal occupation and leaving process.
