One bedroom studio apartment perfect for a couple or family with young kids. King size firm pillow top bed and full size futon, suitable for children. Fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom. Covered porch facing the beach which is just a few steps away plus a deck with lounge chairs. Unbeatable beachfront location and views. Kayaks and paddle boards included.
Spanish Wells is an historic lobster fishing community with a beautiful beach, several good restaurants where fresh seasonal catch is on the menu. The apartment is centrally located and food and liquor stores as well as restaurants are walkable, but we highly recommend renting a gold cart (buggy) to explore the island and adjoining Russell Island. There are no hotels or large resorts which helps the island keeps its distinct charm.

The hosts were so nice & helpful. Vince met us at the dock to help with luggage. He also dropped off a mattress pad for us bc we were having a hard time with the bed. Definitely above and beyond ! Hosts are 5 star!
Please note the bed is VERY !!!! firm if that poses any issue for you. The location of the house is really handy, close to Buddha’s, the supermarket, the dock etc. And of course the beach was amazing. It is a different beach every day or time of day because of the tides. It might be 6” of water or 4’ of water depending on the tides. The sand bars are fun to walk out on. Also there was a family of sweet kittens that I really enjoyed playing with although the hosts requests you didn’t feed them. At first I was concerned but I saw someone dropping off cat food and also they were spayed !
I also want to note in case anyone in your group has joint or mobility issues. There is a set of 6-8 stairs down to the water. There is a big sea wall between the condo & water. So even though you are right on the beach definitely be aware of that if stairs are a concern for you. That is the only thing I didn’t realize before booking and I think maybe a picture of that would be helpful bc stairs can be a little hard for me.
The umbrellas and chairs are also up on a wooden platform so you aren’t sitting in the sand. Which was kind of convenient really.
Otherwise the condo was well stocked. There was a little water when we got there which was nice. Cups plates etc.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed on this property, the first being a different but nearly identical unit. We love Bahama Palms! The unit had everything we needed and was so convenient to everything on the Island. Having DIRECT access to the North Beach was incredible. Right out the back door, with a great covered porch and each unit has it's designated chair and umbrella area. This past April all units were occupied and we really enjoyed meeting the other guests. We even rented a boat for two days and one of the couples joined us. Can't wait to book our next stay. Property managers and housekeeping person are great to work with and very responsive.

Location is everything at Beach Retreat! It is located just a few steps to the beautiful North beach. This is a perfect studio apt. for 1 couple. It has everything you need and nothing that you don’t! Vince and Lori are awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again next year!

The condo was clean and comfy and the bed was perfect. The beach right out the back door. Plenty of seating, I went out several morning before sunrise and seen more stars than ever. So peaceful and quiet. The location couldn’t be better. The kayaks were fun, we went around the island on morning in under two hours. I can’t say enough good about the condo, the hosts were spectacular answering all our questions and helping us get from and to the airport. We will definitely bring going back to the Spanish Wells and we would stay at this location again!

Beach Retreat
Beach Retreat was a perfect place to stay for my husband and me. We stayed a week and were able to enjoy meals cooked at the apartment as well as meals out. There are a large variety of water floats available for use. The process of getting to Spanish Wells and leaving was easy because Lori and Vince scheduled our ferry rides and taxi service to and from the airport. They were readily available to answer any questions and help with anything around the complex. We look forward to staying there again.

Escape to Paradise
We were able completely relax and escape our crazy lives. The setting is simple, yet so romantic! The stars at night were unbelievable! We loved waking up to the turquoise waters and walking the beautiful beach just steps from our back door. The studio was equipped with everything you need to cook meals. There are 4 or 5 good restaurants if you rather go that route. Vince & Lori we’re very helpful in guiding us in the right direction and assisting us with transportation to and from the airport. We loved our stay and hope to visit again same time next year.

World’s best beach
This is our third time here. We have been to beaches in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Sardinia... but this beach on Spanish Wells blows them all away. The beach and unit are absolutely as pictured and described. Vince and Lori are such wonderful hosts, and the restaurants on the island offer delicious food and gorgeous views from the island. We can’t wait to visit again.

Great time in Spanish Wells
My husband and I stayed at Beach Retreat for a quick get away for my 50th birthday. The communication and check in/out was so easy with the property managers. The location on the beach was perfect - beautiful sand and crystal clear water was right outside your door. It's just a short golf cart trip to downtown where there are nice restaurants. The studio itself was very clean and had everything you needed for meals. The size of the studio was perfect for my husband and I - we didn't need anything else to make our trip wonderful. We will be back before the end of 2020.

This is the BEACH you've been looking for
Just returned from a 6 day stay at Beach Retreat. Everything was top notch from the beginning (booking) to end (checking out). We have used VRBO for a number of years renting from Massachusetts to Florida and now Spanish Wells. Lori provided the best service and is a top-notch rental manager/owner. The service she provides goes well beyond a 5-star resort. She organized our golf cart rental and transportation from the airport in N. Eleuthera. She also met us at the ferry upon our arrival and had us follow her to the rental. The studio is JUST as pictured, and the pictures of the beach don't do it justice- it's paradise. All the little things are provided; she even has clothespins for your beach towels ;) The surrounding neighbors are very friendly and we had a number of conversations with the locals. The local liquor and grocery stores are about 1/3 mins away. We had terrific meals at a number of restaurants (Sandbar, Wreckers, Shipyard and Budda's) and at quite reasonable prices for an island! Often times in a review one might say; "this/that could be improved on", but not this time. Impeccable studio! I'm actually looking to book our next stay already! Thanks, Lori and Vince

Perfect beachfront getaway
Beach retreat was a perfect getaway! The space had everything we needed, and was a wonderful quiet place to wake up in the morning and have the beach right off your porch.
Vince and Lori met us at the ferry, arranged for us to have a buggy to get around, and offered great recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Overall a wonderful experience.

The island is incredible and the room was amazing! It was truly the most beautiful place we have ever been! We ate all meals on the patio and woke up every morning even more amazed than the day before! Perfect beach vacation!
Our stay at Beach Retreat was absolutely perfect. The beach location is amazing as you can walk out of your room and directly onto the beach or sit on your porch and enjoy a beautiful view. Our kids loved exploring the sand bar every day or going for some island exploring in the golf cart. Definitely arrange to go fishing or snorkeling and plan a stop at the swimming pig island. So many fun things to do! Another highlight was when the property managers arranged for the kids to get to pick a coconut and someone came to break it open for them to try fresh coconut water! The rooms were great for a family as they have a futon for kids or a connecting door so kids can have their own space. Everything in the rental was so nice, clean and new. Also loved the beach decor! Will definitely recommend this place and definitely be back!
