Overall location was great, and a decent setup.
However... conditions made it a not so great experience.
The Carpet made your feet black instantly if you don't wear shoes.
TV in the Master bedroom would not connect to anything except the dvd player...but who brings dvd's?
The Blinds in the master were all broken, so you could not shut them for privacy and anyone on the balcony can see right in at all times...
There was constriction the entire time on the building, with workers from Sun up to Sun down with Jackhammers chiseling on every floor, so you literally could not hang out in the room to rest and relax. would have been nice to know before booking....
Also, construction work on the room next door the whole time, but those guys were drowned out by the jackhammers all day.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hidden Dunes of Panama. We enjoyed our stay and loved being waterfront. The pool, parking, and restaurant were all great additions to our stay.

Superb location and spacious 2-BED, 2-BR condo with beautiful beach view balcony. Easy, convenient virtual check-in/out. Has amenities such as washer and dryer, and dishwasher. Great for a family vacation.

The condo smelled very, very BAD, the floor was very sticky. The bathtub drained very very slow. They were dirty paper towels under the coffee table. the condo was NOT CLEANED at all.The bedrooms looked like they had been cleaned or we hoped that they were.
4.0 / 10.0
Once we got into the condo, we discovered that it was well worn. Upon further inspection, there were several maintenance issues. The lights in the closet blinked when on, as well as the one in the vanity area. The master bedroom was always hot and could not feel any ac coming out of the vents. The bath tub had a very slow drainage causing the water to back up. Most of the lamp shades had been damaged. The floors were dirty and the carpet in both bedrooms was filthy. It had some really dark stains. The master bedrooms bed was extremely hard. We could not sleep on it, so we sleep in the guest room which was somewhat better. The kitchen was not fully furnished. There were no steak knives or baking pans. And there was no way to save leftovers because there were no tops to bowels. Had to purchase more trash bags ( only had 2 for the entire week). This place really needs a deep clean. I will not be returning...

The view was amazing. Space was good, but VERY firm beds. Bath was nasty, finding poop in toilet at checkin! Slats missing from blinds, hall view HAD to be covered. No heated pools, but beach towels provided. Quiet stay.

Dunes of Panama amenities were nice and the view was amazing. The condo itself wasn't the best. Master bed was the hardest bed that I have ever slept in. We actually cut our trip short by 1 day and came back early because I couldn't bare to try to sleep in that bed again. Master bath tub wouldn't drain properly. Kitchen has basic supplies for a week long stay.

Nice place, tons of beds Unfortunately we went to evacuate during Hurricane Ida, so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.

Great views
Both sides of the condo offered great views. One side had ocean views, th other had inland lagoons and bulk of PCB.
Unit is a little dated and could use a face-lift. I would stay again.

Spacious
I loved the amount of space, and enough beds for my family of seven. I really loved the location. It was close to everything!

Panama stay
Great view! Our biggest complaint was the bed in master bedroom. It was like sleeping on bricks. Very difficult nights of sleep. The rest was comfortable.

Good for family, couples. Weekend get away.
Property was clean and well stocked. Only issue I had was voiced in other reviews. Master bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab. Absolutely no sleep our first night. Moved to the second bedroom next night. Much better comfort.

Pretty Decent
The condo was great other than the air does not flow in the two bedrooms so we were pretty hot when sleeping and the beds are extremely hard, like sleeping on concrete. Putting in ceiling fans in the bedrooms would really make a big difference.

Overall an ok experience a few issues with checking in because the onsite staff had no idea what was going on and said to contact the property manager, whom never replied. Luckily we found a nice person willing to help us! The room was an ok experience but to be fair was not very clean. Shower curtain has mold on the bottom of it, the ceiling was falling apart in the hall, left over beer bottles from the group before us, just not worth the money. We will steer clear in the future!

Lovely Condo
Very roomy condo. Was very comfortable and not crowded. Disappointed no ceiling fans, door in master bedroom doesn’t open to balcony. I would stay there again even though the 20th floor was at times a pain to go all the way up to. Nice view.

Family Vacation
There was definitely enough room for my family (8). We slept comfortably. Enough room for eating and hanging out without being on top of each other. The view was great, close to the elevator and trash dispenser. Amenities were adequate. Great stay.

This is our 2nd time staying here. And we loved it. The Dunes is very clean and nice.
We stayed here before and loved it. This time was just as nice. We love Thomas Dr. It is much quieter. And the Dunes is a clean and nice complex. We left the Saturday before Michael hit. Just praying for all who lost homes.

Pleasant
We had another wonderful stay at the Dunes. I've lost count of how many times we've stayed over the years in multiple condos. This was reasonably priced and the only reason I'm not giving it a five star is because I felt that some furniture upgrades in the bedrooms could be made but again we paid less a night to stay with a beach view verses any hotel which would cost you more. It was comfortable and served its purpose. The view is amazing on the higher floors. I prefer a view looking straight out to the ocean and this condo you can actually see in the other condos and people on their balconies but all in all can't complain. I would definitely stay in this unit again if the price is right!

Loved the view, but needs a deep clean and new bedding
Condo was decent but for the price, we expected much better. We didn’t have pillow cases for the hide-a-beds and had to use t-shirts to cover them (stained and frankly, pretty gross). The master bedroom mattress was extremely uncomfortable and just had sheets and a very thin bedspread (which had several stains). There was a blanket in the closet, but honestly, I worried that it hadn’t been washed. I was thrilled to have a washer-dryer, but there was so much mold that our laundry smelled musty and I ended having to re-wash everything when I got home. Elevator was broken down a few times during the stay and when it was up and running, it was very loud and a little nerve-racking as we were on 20th. Overall, great vacation, but condo needs some serious cleaning, new and enough bedding for all beds.

I enjoyed the view, and the accessibility to the beach.
The experience was great. When I walked into the doors to the room we were staying in, I was highly impressed on how nice it looked inside. The view was incredible & my family loved the vacation overall.

Could not ask for better!
We had an amazing time and cannot thank Dorothy enough. The view was amazing, we had everything we needed and then some. LOL We LOVED the little closet with the extra beach toys, chairs, etc. Thank you also for all your patience in answering my questions. We plan to be back again next year......maybe twice. ;-) Thanks again!

Very well kept property!
Our stay was a pleasure, the apartment had everything we needed, including umbrella and beach chairs. It isn't near Pier Park, what wasn't a big deal for us.
The only reason that I didn't give it a five stars was because the king mattress is really, really firm, and if you are not used to it, it's kind of uncomfortable.
Dorothy is kind and friendly and let us check in early with no issues.
We will stay in one of her properties for sure in the future!!!!

Loved it!
Really great place to stay! My only complaint is how hard the mattress was in the master bedroom. We actually went and bought a padded mattress topper to keep on the bed for our stay. Great people to rent from as well. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the room. They immediately answeeed my call and told me who could let us back in.

We will definitely be staying here again. Great room with everything you need in it and wonderful views!
