Great apartment and responsive host. Noisy neighbours.

Great location and spacious apartment

Mould and condensation issues on bathrooms and dishwasher. Upstairs neighbours partied three nights in a row until 3am despite us requesting them to turn music and singing down. We departed one night early in search of sleep as we had our 4 children with us.

I will honestly be a bit hesitant to recommend this place.

The environment and the rooms are quite cosy. The kitchen was very good. I loved the kitchen.

The customer service was bad. On arrival, we were asked to pay £300 deposit, which is not stated on booking.com. That deception caused some discomfort. If there are additional charges, it's important to know before the clients get there. What if I planned my stay with a certain amount and this unplanned amount comes to add up, it may affect my costs. Again, we stood outside in the cold -2° for almost an hour before we could have access to the building. We also had issues on the second day. When we returned, there was no access to the building before getting into the flat. The workers couldn't give us a code that would permit us access to the building so we stood outdoors for almost an hour until we couldn't stand in the cold and called a neighbour who was benevolent to open the building for us to enter. Even after that, the owners never called to find out if we had had access to the building. Again, two hours prior to our exit time, electricity access and that of the Internet were put off, and we struggled to use the Internet. I wonder if a hotel would do that. To restricted access to electricity and Internet 2 hours before your exit. Lastly, the beds were too small. This made us uncomfortable.

Great location, needs redecorating and some TLC

The location was perfect, the staff were accommodating and let us drop our luggage off.

It needs painting and the shower room needs some TLC. Also too small for 6 people.

A great location in a home from home setting

The location of the property was excellent, the hosts were very communicative when we had a couple of issues on arrival.

The lock box was quite hard to access.

Comfortable but the whole place could do with a deep clean and bathroom upgrade.

The location was fabulous. just a minutes walk from the centre. on the whole the place was comfortable.

Both bathrooms were awful and needed totally replacing. the main bathroom shower didn’t work at all and the electrics were hanging from the ceiling. Because of this 5 of us had to use the ensuite shower. This was filthy and full of mould. both toilets were stained. the blinds in the property could do with a good clean too. water in a vase dirty. no full length mirrors or any mirrors in the two smaller bedrooms.

Poor value for a place that could offer so much more.

Location is good to walk into town for shopping and restaurants.

Where to start.. NOTE: There are 2 locked boxes for the entry keys. Spent an eternity trying to get into the wrong box? And they are both located in an area that the door locks behind you! Most importantly if you are on holidays and arrive to a place with 2 bathrooms and no toilet paper surely things can only get better. Was told to go and buy some? Really!!! The dishwasher was putrid with soiled dinner plates, etc. In fact there is no dining area to eat meals, had to sit on sofa. This place needs someone to manage it better. Maybe stay a night and work out what a real home needs. Vey disappointing but plenty of potential.

A superb apartment, comfortable and spacious in a central Reading location.

The Property was in a brilliant location- a few minutes walk to The Oracle shopping centres and near bars and restaurants. Our stay was very last minute due to a previous cancellation forced upon us and we found the apartment clean and welcoming. Lots of lovely little touches- tea, coffee, soap, washing up liquid available.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

Highs and lows

The Host were responsive and professional. The location is great and the layout of apartment is lovely.

We were disappointed with the cleansiness so much so that we purchased and used domestos super white bleach to clean the toilets. The fridge freezer didn't work as expected, which resulted in food being spoilt. The fridge freezer could have also done with a clean. The two single beds pushed together to make a double bed meant it was very uncomfortable to sleep, a firmer mattress is required. Also property advertised as having 3 bathrooms with a shower..this is incorrect advertising, this property has a main bathroom and an ensuite shower room, which was very disappointing as we booked due to number of bathrooms advertised!!

Perfect apartment for a family stay with helpful hosts.

Very nice apartment ideal for our family group of 4. Great location, easy access and very near shops and restaurants. Very good high specification facilities throughout the apartment. Hosts were extremely helpful with instructions and follow up help if required. Home from Home but with a special touch of class.

Only a minor thing but would have been nice to have a table and chairs to sit around for meals.
