Location was good - picturesque village and quaint house.
The place was cold and we had no water when we first arrived. The owners did sort the water problem but we were cold. The place obviously has potential but it was disappointing. Needs to be freshened up and it could’ve been cleaner - windows were dirty!

Fantastic house, idyllic location, very comfortable and we were warmly welcomed. Highly recommended!
Nothing, everything was very good

Fantastic place to stay for the night on way to a golf holiday.

Stayed here while doing a bike trip around the south west and host was very welcoming and accommodating and place was clean and tidy and very calm
Mattresses are about 1000 years old. A small spend on new mattresses will transform the comfort of this stay.

We loved the location, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The fresh fruit my kids loved and the awesome sandwiches Harriet brought was delicious. Very very kind and super! Would stay again if I come down this way. Thank you for your hospitality.

Harriet made us feel so welcome when we arrived. Nothing was too much.
The children loved the tree house and the trampoline.
Thank you so much, it was lovely to meet you.

the place smelt damp so we did not stay the night, so we came home

lovely to have a lounge as well as bedrooms as felt very spacious. Owner was very friendly and approachable. Grounds were pleasant. Able to order a lovely take away.
very difficult to find although owner kindly helped us when we rang her, it was lovely but spiral metal staircase would have been hazardous with a small child. Would have liked the tv in the lounge rather than 1 bedroom.
4.1
Quiet, spacious, private and homely in beautiful countryside.
Bedrooms link through to each other so ideal for families but perhaps not some groups wanting more privacy.

It had character and was nice to be in the same place, plenty of space upstairs
The downstairs decor was quite unique and not to everyone’s taste. The carpets could have done with a wash, or been replaced. Some of the walls were dirty, the beds weren’t that comfortable, there were empty coffee wrappers in the bedroom, the bathroom flooded as the plastic wasn’t intact. Just felt a little neglected and uncared for.

The host was warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable.
I think the facilites were good but it lacks a little care and attention. Take up the carpets and reveal the lovely stone floor.

Great host, made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Location was beautiful
Beds were uncomfortable, mini fridge in room didnt work, ceilings are low slanted so kept hitting heads

When we got there we were told we only paid for 1 adult but we were a party of 6 so had to pay extra money, even tho I did email when I paid to ask if it was definitely for 2 adults and 4 children and got a reply back as yes..

The location was amazing, so relaxed and peaceful. The apartment itself was exactly as explained and was great. Could do with having a sink downstairs even with not having cooking facilities, and though the bed linen was spotless it could have been a little cleaner all round in general. Would go back though as the surrounding settings were amazing and the hosts very friendly, just needs a little more TLC.
No Sink downstairs

quirky!

Beautiful location, friendly host, thoughtful extras (eg in the bathroom), plenty of hot water, comfy and dog friendly. Good communication from host.
A bit shabby, could do with a lick of paint, shower needs replacing or repairing (it does work but ….)

Beautiful place - a real home away from home! Harriet was so welcoming and accommodating! We had a very relaxing eve with our friends and their one year old. Beautiful surroundings as well, we would definitely return!
We were aware that there wouldn’t be a kitchen as such but it really didn’t bother us - Harriet was very kind in supplying water and even washed up our dishes from our takeaway!
